Jin nodded and followed Maru inside.It was just as lovely inside the home.He looked at Maru,listening to her.
''Well you have a very lovely tree,Maru-san.I wish I could of had a childhood in such a beautiful place like this.Thank you for giving me a room.'' he said,admiring the home abit before looking at her.
''May I do anything for you before I go look around? Have you eaten? I could make something for you.'' he said.He pondered on sweeping as well.While he was looking around the house he didn't want to leave the lady with any chores to do.He took off his sandals and sat them by the door neatly.
''At least you'll have something to eat later if your not hungry now. he said then wandered abit before finding the kitchen.He washed his hands before looking in the fridge and freezer.He got a bag of mixed vegetables and rice.He warmed the frozen vegetables and cooked the rice,cleaning a cutting board and spoon as he waited for the food to cook.Once the food was done,he put medium sized piles of rice on the cutting board and started making a salad while he waited for the rice to cool.He mixed the lettuce with sliced tomato,the mixed vegetables,tofu,some avocado,and lastly added two hard boiled eggs.He got two containers,cleaning them before adding the salad and one egg to each container.He pondered a moment before deciding to cut each egg into slices and add some salad dressing to each salad before putting the sliced egg on top.He then made onigiri with each pile of rice,adding a nice amount of mixed vegetables to each one.He then put three onigiri in each container.
''I finished lunch,Maru-san.I hope you'll like it.'' he said,closing her container then sitting her lunch on the counter with a fork.He put both the rice and vegetables in the fridge then rinsed the knife before putting it away.He rinsed off a fork for himself and collected a bottle of water for each of them then sat at the counter with his lunch.He sat a bottle of water next to Maru's lunch and the other one in front of him,before starting to eat his food quietly.
