Bing, decidedly not enthused about this little exercise, calmly assessed the random arrangement of ink blobs. From the opposite side of the desk, the psychologist waited patiently.
"Looks like some guy aiming to take advantage of a woman." Bing finally said, meeting the psychologist's eyes. "On a four poster bed."
He shrugged, pointing to the large blob at the bottom. "Could be it's consensual, but she's all squished down at the bottom of the bed."
"And how does that make you feel?" the Psychologist asked, leaning forward.
"Disgusted." Bing answered, expression not flickering a whit. "No one should treat a woman like that."
The Psychologist took some notes, and returned the ink blob to his file folder. He then pulled out another sheet and checked the lines of text on it.
"Okay, let's move on to another exercise. I'm going to ask you a question that involves making a difficult choice. Just answer honestly."
[Ethics Question #1]
He cleared his throat and recited the first line of text.
"You must choose between saving the life of another faction member, or obtaining a box of bottled water. You cannot do both. Which do you choose, and why?"
Bing considered the question momentarily, rubbing at the stubble growing on his chin.
"Depends on who it is, I think. There's a few folks I'd save, but for the majority of the people, I'd go for the water instead. Ya gotta have water to live, y'know? But there are some people I'd go without water to have 'em at my back."
While he was thinking about his obligation to Benji, there were a few former convicts around the place Bing wouldn't have minded having owe him a favor. Tough call, though.
"From the way I see it. I choose the water, there's more water to go around and one less person it has to be spread between."
The Psychologist wrote down his answers, and then motioned the Bing could leave.
