Kukuts-wungwa (Lizard Clan) is one of two starter clans within the Earth Tribe. Like all clans they hold loyalty to the Earth Magi, Riot and Ander (AKA Bob). They live in the cliffs just outside the Earth Tribe's forest. The brunt of the clan lives in shallow caves within this area (though some caves are less shallow than others).
Social Structure:
Clan Chief: Dupa - "Star of Bravery"
Dupa is a head-strong chief. He holds himself to the same laws he holds his clan to. Each of his members he sees as his children and capable warriors. It is his duty to insure that his clan remains loyal to the over all tribe and the different clans that may arise in the future. Even so, Dupa believes that respect should be earned through actions, not by mere words.
Dupa is also a very proud b'alam. Tough he does hold the tribe's magi in the highest regard, he can't help but feel an immense amount of pride in regards to his own clan within the tribe (at times seeing them as better than everyone else. Though he is wise enough to keep that to himself).
At times Dupa can be a bit thick-headed and hard to reason with when his mind is set on something...

Culture:
Everything within Kukuts-wungwa reflect that of their tribe. They hold the same values and beliefs. All members of this clan had to pass the trials within the Earth Tribe to become a part of this clan (so everyone should be familiar with it).
Kukuts-wungwa does tend to put an emphasis on training warriors and may consider themselves as part of the Earth Tribe's defense, considering they are located relatively close to the capitol just to the south. Kukuts-wungwa value honor. Cowards and backstabbers are among the greatest criminals within the clan (pretty much up there with murderers).
Gender Roles: As with the Earth Tribe, males and females are both respected the same and their differences are celebrated. Males and females both can become great warriors, however, they are both trained differently. Females are more likely to become stealthy hunters while males take the front lines.
Both are highly respected.
Relations: Within the tribe the Kukuts-wungwa feel their strongest ally are the Karaya clan. Currently there are no other clans so there are no tensions among the clans. They highly respect their tribe and will do anything to protect it.

They also have a warrior festival where young warriors may prove themselves to their clan chief and be recognized in their skill.
