Within that second Kazenite had teleported Phact away from the roaring streets of Destiny City, the sounds quieted save for her frantically beating heart as she stood in the middle of her living room with the quickly fading Senshi of Doves. Still pumped full of adrenaline from the battle with Benitoite the General Queen spent little to no time wondering what to do as precious lifeblood flowed from raven haired womans abdomen. She didn’t need to look down to verify the damage his ivy wire wrapped spear had done to her companion; the wounds it inflicted upon the General King’s opponents were not new to her - this would be no different. I will not let you take her from me too Benitoite. It was both a vow and a promise unsaid; should Phact not make it through this she would reign hell on those close to him that manage to survive this Hail Mary battle.
Not paying any mind to the blood that spilled from the open wound onto her carpet floor, the same crimson liquid that would flow freely onto the very sheets she had once shared with the once pristine white Senshi of Doves. Carefully, the General Queen laid the woman on the bed cursing herself for leaving Xyla behind on the war torn streets instead of insisting she stay put; here at the condo and out of the way.
Lacking the necessary help required to stymie the bleeding, Kazenite’s hand instinctively grasped the starseed that hung from the choker around her neck. Selena… you couldn’t save me but please help me save her. Not that her sister owed her such kindness, it didn’t stop her from pleading just the same.
After undoing the wire cage that hugged the precious glowing teal-blue seed she wasted little time in offering it to the semi-conscious raven haired woman. Several years ago the General Queen had been forced to remove her own siblings starseed when it came to light that she was not only aiding the resistance, but also a white moon senshi. The girls defiance and steadfast refusal to join the Negaverse had sealed her fate; though her last request resonated in Kazenite’s memory till this day ‘promise… promise you’ll keep me close’.
Tears of frustration and pure anger blurred the Queen’s vision as she grabbed the hand sewn quilt off end of her bed to apply pressure to Phacts abdomen. Normally composed despite the situation, Kazenite could feel the seed of fear that the senshi would either consciously or unconsciously reject the only means of aid she had to offer. Corrupt or not, the reaction a senshi had to consuming a person's starseed were not necessarily forgiving or well received.
“Benitoite. I will kill you for this!” She near hissed through clenched teeth. The time for games had come to an end; come hell or high water he would die the next time they met.
Until ruby colored eyes looked up at her and the veil of death had receded like a shadow at noon time, the General Queen was prepared to ride the night to ensure her Dove survived.
