Hobbies: Exercising - Despite having a huge lack of motivation to do anything different in his life, Shiloh enjoys making sure he's healthy and fit. Whether it's a run around the block, or doing a few reps at the local Gym, he enjoys the feeling of sweating and feeling tired from a good workout. He wouldn't call it a lifestyle. It's merely something he does to relax. Nothing beats listening to his music and running around the block a few times!
Sewing Stuffed Toys - After a fall from a tree when he was 7, Shiloh was in the hospital with a cast for a few days. During that time, he saw grannies coming through and giving all the kids toys they sewed. He thought that was so nice and warm so he asked those little nice grannies could they show him. It's become a hobby he picked up now, and hand sews everything from mini octopi to HUGE ELEPHANTS. He goes out and about weekly on a shopping trip to thrift stores for cool fabrics that he can make the toys out of. Once he's filled up a laundry basket full of them, he donates them to the hospitals in the DMV area.
Taking CC Classes - Shiloh has no declared major, no motivation to better himself or find a career. Instead he's a 'career student' and uses some of his money he earns each month to take one class at the local Community College. One month it's a math class, another it's a history. An art class and a music class here and there. He's learned a little of everything with no real single goal in mind. Each semester a new class will be taken, just so he can tell himself he's learning something, and not just sitting at home each day.
Wandering - With no Confidence to proceed in doing anything productive, much of Shiloh's time is spent wandering around, just looking at the world around him. This ties in with his love for exercising, as he will take a jog down to places where he's unfamiliar until he's exhausted and take a cab home. This leads him all over the city and informs him of events that go on in the community. Luckily, he has not gotten lost yet.
Virtues:Obedient -- 'Orders are Orders." His father always had a strong opinion on what person should and shouldn't do. But ultimately, in his opinion, if a person is above you in rank or position, you should do what they say, up until a certain moral point. Shiloh's way of following orders applies to many aspects of his life including school, where he's done fairly well by solely doing all work, to his work place, where he never refuses an order to clean even the most nasty of restrooms. His obedience has him pegged as the 'perfect' worker by his bosses and teachers, and others are more than ready to let him help them with his their work, since they know he'll obediently follow their directions.
Grateful -- There are so many things in this world that could go wrong and Shiloh's seen them happen. Despite all this there is STILL so much in the world he's thankful for. He's thankful for the breaths he's allowed every day, he's thankful for the family that loves him and for the days when the sun still rises. Every action a person does for him lasts, and he's grateful for every little thing a person does. If you are a kind person that exists, he will sing you praises for being who you are and for not stopping and giving up. He wants to make sure everyone who he deals with knows just how appreciative he is of them, and often is told by people that he's a sweet young man because of it.
Receptive - The world is not a stagnant entity. Everything swirls and changes and from that, new talents and ideas and wonders are discovered all the time. And people should PROUD of what they do. Shiloh is very open to new ideas and suggestions people have for anything, and enjoys that enthusiasm that people show when they are excited about what they do.

Not so much for Shiloh on a personal level. He reached adulthood and found that nothing needed to change. Not for him. He's had the same job since he was sixteen, the same clothes, the same small apartment. He's not worried about change when there's no reason to. His father is almost to the point of being ashamed by him as he does nothing to find himself in a different position in life.
Sensitive - A kind word to Shiloh will last forever, just as a cruel one will. He's very receptive to any interaction with him. Even a comment such a 'that's a stupid idea' will cause him to feel upset, and he'll dwell on it for an unhealthy amount of time, regretting having ever spoken up. He does not take being yelled at, or being the target of any aggression very well, and may tear up at it.
Low Self-esteem - Once his mother passed away, his father became his main source of parental guidance. Though a dutiful father who encouraged Shiloh to grow, he did not accept failure at all. His father never told him outright that he was a 'disappointment' or he was ashamed of him, but he always pointed out how well his cousins were doing. Lily was a beautiful young woman with the voice of an angel.. Xander was a handsome young man with the brains to save many, many lives! What was Shiloh? A man with no goals or aspirations in life. Hearing this growing up caused Shiloh to simply decide that was the case. He would never be good at anything to the point of earning said praise. When a person does manage to find a reason to praise him, he will do whatever he can to keep earning that praise, up until it negatively affects him in a moral sense.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
He's a first cousin of
Liliana and
Xander Jacobs, and has their curls and a skin tone a bit darker than theirs.
Eyes: His eyes are narrow, and are a
bright glacier blue (they should pop!), he wears a pair of circular glasses. It's a pair of old frames he got from his grandpa (he still thinks their hecka cool) and they have updated prescriptions in them.
Hair: Short and curly. Like hella curly! and bright red like his cousins.
Skin About the same as Liliy's and Xanders, though a bit darker. He has freckles all up and down his arms, and a plethora across the top of his cheeks that go from right below his eyes to right where the corner of his mouth starts. If being darker hides his freckles too much, then he can be lighter.
Face: His face is kinda.. Oval shaped. Freckles up the wazoo!
Clothes: A pretty standard wardrobe of cargo shorts and T-Shirts from where he's been before (summer camps, theme parks, events, that kind of thing)
