Welcome to Black Forest,

Please share a bit about yourself here. Please feel free to include a photo, link to your personal blog, poupee, tumblr, ect.

About your Black Forest Guardian:

I'm Dani, I'm likely an old crone by comparison to most of our members, but it works for me. Married, no children just our pets. A child at heart and wanderer by nature. I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies, including needle felting, embroidery, cross-stitch, crochet, sewing, reading and video games. I enjoy research and spend a lot of time reading books and periodicals pertaining to early agriculture, home management, social customs, etiquette, memento hand crafts, veterinary references, ect. My personal style is a mix of Strega, Dark Mori, Mori, Natural, Dolly and anything that catches my fancy and suits my present mood.

My friends call me Cecil- short for Cecilia. Style wise, I usually switch around from goth, mori, natural kei and just girly girl, occasionally experimenting with other things, too. I also like the lolita and dolly kei style, but have not been able to actually try it yet. I like to read, write, draw, taking walks with friends, and paint.

My name is Krystal, though you may call me Rogue. I'm 25, soon to be 26, and married. My hobbies include drawing, video gaming, reading, walks and hikes, going out for coffee, and thrift shopping when I'm able to. I currently live in Oregon, so I'm used to rain, haha. I work two part-time jobs. One in a housewares box store (not saying where to be confidential), and a clothing consignment shop, where I tend to find a lot of treasures ;w;

My style kinda bounces around. I like a variety of goth, mori kei, dark mori, and just casual when I don't feel like going all out in a day (jeans and something loose fit to wear on top usually). I got into mori about a year or so ago, and love the simplicity but elegance of it, plus I've been trying to go more minimalist in my lifestyle as well (not getting caught up in stuff I need that is). I do have a lot of knits, long frilly skirts, and lace in my wardrobe. I am still trying to get into layering and seeing what really works in my wardrobe, and am always keeping my eye out for things I could always add to build up more of my selection. My favorite season is Fall and Winter, so I have a lot of thigh high socks, tights, and longer skirts in general. I'm also a big fan of boots and dresses as well.

Here is my Tumblr to learn more, and to see some of my art.

♥ ♥ . . .
Hello~ My name is Anna. I like mostly drawing and singing~ my other hobbies include reading fantasy or sci-fi books, or ones about psychology.
I don't really wear mori girl fashion, my style is 'normal' girly/casual, but I really love mori girl style! I find it really inspiring, and maybe one day I'll get myself to wear it ( : Maybe when I finally learn how to sew!

Hello!

My name is Tristan and I enjoy dressing in Mori Boy fashion. Apparently I had been dressing in Mori fashion for years before I knew what it was!

I have recently discovered Dark Mori Kei and am trying to put together some outfits. For some reason they keep coming out a bit plain. It's in the details I suppose.

I live near the woods and take walks there allot where I take tons of photos. Fall is my favorite time of the year with the changing leaves and the little animals coming out of the woods everywhere. I have had some great moments with some praying mantis and foxes who are all over the place around me.

I think that is the most exciting part of nature walks for me, when I see the animals and interact with them. I played red light green light with a little snake over near the pond in the park once and it was amazing.

Hi, I'm A Diadem of Dead Stars but you can call me Sorc, Diadem, or some other variant of my username. Been admiring the dark mori/strega style for a while, but have only recently begun to take the plunge into actually buying in the style.

I'm usually pretty happy to talk about etsy or metal music, so hmu.

When in doubt, layer it out!
I'm a big fan of accessories - probably too much for my own good.
I wonder how many piercings each ear could hold.

I'm on here as Carnal Malefactor, but my name is Megan! I'm 23 and working on my post-graduate education right now. I'm from Colorado and going to the mountains for hikes, photography and grounding myself is a huge part of my life! I also am passionately into esotericism, religious studies, philosophy and the occult. I love black metal and ambient music. Oh and...I love make-up! I especially like vampy lip colors and dramatic, day-inappropriate dark eye makeup. As for fashion, I'm mostly a jeans, band tee, leather and combat boots kinda gal, but I have fallen in love with Strega fashion and hope to incorporate it more.

Welcome! smile

I love esoteric, occult, religious and philosophical studies too! And make up. I alternate between light and heavier, dark styles with make up. During autumn, I'm usually wearing lots of orange, copper, red, black and gold eyeshadows. But still nothing super dramatic. heart Eyeshadow palettes are one of my money pit interests. sweatdrop

Ohh! Have I got the shadow for you. It's only .99 Cents at Sally's Beauty Supply, but it's the most unique metallic copper/brick I've ever seen. It's called "Brickhouse." This picture isn't even doing it justice. So pigmented.

And oh I know the feeling with sinking your money into eyeshadow palettes gonk My most recent purchase was the Modern Renaissance by ABH. So worth it.

I really want the PB&J Too Faced one, as well as the Serpentina by Kat Von D.

Oh goodness, that looks lovely! I may have to see if I can bribe my Dad into going and picking one up for me. Sadly, there is no Sally's in Korea and they don't seem to carry that one on their website.

My most recent was the Serpentina, which I've been using a lot lately. I've debated the Modern Ren one, but I'm not as keen on matte palettes unless they're co-ordinated with metals or shimmers. The PB&J one is definitely on my list though. But probably after I get the UD Moondust & KVD Metal-Matte. sweatdrop I was kind of relieved Too Faced's holiday palettes didn't really appeal to me this year. lol
