Hyperborea made her way towards the agreed upon meeting space, The campus of DCU. She was going to train with Chaonis tonight. Although she wasn't as close to the senshi of danger as she was with the senshi of war, her other mentor. She still considered the older senshi a friend and a valuable teacher, or sparing partner depending on how you looked at it.
She saw the older senshi and started quickening her pace. "Salut Chaonis, I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
She did a few quick warm up stretches. "Ok ready to spar?" Lithiasaur Here's a start let me know if I need to change anything

Chaonis did not really mind where they chose to meet up for sparring. He knew he was not going to be using his magic, so the risk of doing serious damage to any nearby buildings was pretty low. He knew better than to, these days, considering there was no way to control what got broken. In the past, he had brought down buildings with his recklessness.
And while once or twice that had been useful in a pinch, it almost got himself and some of his friends in a lot of... well... danger. And he did not want to risk that for something as lighthearted as sparring.
So here he was, hanging out on the campus and waiting for his partner to show up. When he felt an aura approaching, he grinned and folded his arms over his chest.
"Nah, I haven't been hanging around too long. I would have already ditched if you kept me waiting. Anyway, what do you want to work on tonight, eh?"

"I'd like to practice my blocking and dodging first, then maybe striking." She said with a smile. She was already pretty adept at grappling and counters so she figured it would be better to focus on the areas she was weaker at.
As the two began sparring Hyperborea took the defensive. While Chaonis was still noticably stronger and faster than the squire, the difference was not nearly as pronounced as it was when Hyperborea was a page.
After a bit of sparring the two decided to take a breather. Hyperborea was making small talk when she felt an aura. She stood up and activated her aspect, being enveloped by the silver starlight sheen of cosmos. "Chaonis do you feel that?" It was general, somewhere nearby. It felt like the general was approaching them. So much for just being a friendly sparring session.

Chaonis was happy with her progress as they sparred, giving her what tips and insight he could while also trying not to get too wrapped up in the fight itself. Fighting was always fun, especially when it was not actually for life and death.
He did not want to hurt anyone on his own team, after all.
His attention was drawn, though, much as hers was. A strong Chaos aura was sauntering their way. It was not in a hurry, but it was certainly getting closer to them. There was no way it did not know they were there, so he knew they were about to get an unwelcome visitor.
And he had a bad, bad feeling that he knew who it was.
"Yeah, I feel it. If it wants to fight, let me do the 'talking'."
It did not take long for the source of the Chaotic aura to make itself, or rather herself, known. She spotted Chaonis and Hyperborea and grinned at them.
"What do we have here? Cheating on your little senshi, Chaonis, with a knight of all things? How tragic for her! This one is so weak, too. Quite the step down."

Hyperborea wasn't too keen on just letting Chaonis do the 'talking' but he was the older and more experienced one here so she deferred to his judgement. She deactivated her aspect and summoned her bow.
"Ok, I'll provide support with my flash bang arrows."
Then the owner of the aura made herself known. Of course it had to be her, of all the generals it had to be her. In Hyperborea's book Painite was almost as bad as an actual general sovereign. If she was being completely honest she was some what afraid of the general, she had almost died to that spear after all.
She tried not to let the general's taunting get to her but being called weak hit a sore spot. " Va te faire enculer, salope!" She yelled back cursing the general out in french. "I'm not the same girl you fought last time. I'm stronger and more experienced, it's not gonna end the same way." She said pulling back on her string making her starlight arrow appear ready to fire as soon as the fighting began.

Painite watched the duo, sizing up the two. She was very familiar with Chaonis and his physical brawling techniques, but she had not really encountered Hype in a fair fight before. Was this a fair fight?
Painite had lost to Chaonis a few times before, that was true enough, but he was as weak as any other White Moon senshi. By partnering up with someone else, someone at a weaker rank to boot, Chaonis was opening himself up to a weak point she could exploit.
And exploit it she would.
"You don't think it will be the same, hm?" She laughed, shaking her head. She grinned though, teleporting and calling her spear to her hand as she reappeared nearer to Hype than Chaonis, which left him too far away to do much good immediately.
Painite was curious to see what a bow could do at close range.
"Better start showing me how strong you are, my pet," she growled, stabbing forward with her spear to get things rolling.

Hyperborea watched as the general mockingly laughed at her before vanishing in thin air. She could guess where she would reappear and sure enough Painite appeared within striking distance of her. Hyperborea just managed to avoid getting a gut full of spear, dodging it mostly on instinct. However even then the spear did manage to slice open her arm.
As she narrowly dodge the spear she released her bow string and the arrow exploded at her feet, enveloping the general and squire in a blind explosion of silver starlight. She wished she could say it was her brilliant tactical mind at work but really it was just instinct as the pain from the cut on her arm made her let go of the string.
Thankfully though Hyperborea's magic didn't blind her as well so she could see the now blinded general clearly. This is my chance. She moved quickly behind the general.
She activated her aspect, the silvery explosion being replaced by a silvery sheen covering her. She wrapped an arm around Painite's neck and used her other hand to put pressure on the general's head forcing it forward into the choke.
"How's this for strong?" She said her voice dripping with venom. Hyperborea's magic Her bow fires an arrow of starlight that explodes like a flash bang (though slightly less powerful), channeling time is 30 secs. Cosmos Aspect The silvery sheen of starlight covers the Knights of the Cosmos, and their touch is just as heavenly. It's warm and pleasant to most, but acidic and painful to corrupted beings. For the followers of Chaos, physical contact with one of these Knights feels like a mild chemical burn: although it does little in the way of damage, it's hard to tolerate it.

Chaonis moved when he saw Hype reacting, and Painite was quick to reappear. She did not manage to get Hyperborea too badly, at least as far as Chaonis could tell, but that was probably not going to stop the General.
Really, it was just more motivation for her to step up her attacks.
Both Chaonis and Painite were caught off guard by the bright flash of light that followed the arrow hitting the ground. She let out a hiss of anger and pain, shutting her eyes tightly and reeling back a step, though she was slow to notice Hype had already moved behind her.
Chaonis waited, straining to watch but not willing to risk running in there and hurt someone he did not want to hurt.
Painite howled when she felt a sudden burning on her skin, where Hyperborea was touching her. If there was one thing that really made Painite furious, it was losing a fight. And this was starting to look like she was losing. That was unacceptable, so she opted to turn things in her favor as best she could.
She teleported, and took Hype with her, reappearing in the sky and letting them both drop toward the ground far below. Since Hype had been behind her, Painite reached back and latched on to her, and was now falling with them both facing backwards. If they landed like this, Hype would take the brunt of the hit, with Painite on top of her.

Hyperborea decided in that moment that she hated teleportation. She felt her stomach churn as in an instance she no longer had the earth underneath her feet and the air began to rip past her as she and the general fell towards the unforgiving ground.
Hyperborea felt Painite reach back and wrap her arms around the young squire. Hyperborea could tell what her plan was, to land on top of her and crush the cosmos knight with the fall.
Hyperborea drove her knee into the small the generals back with as much force as she could, she repeated this until she had managed to force the General to release her grasp. Unfortunately even freed from the General's hold she still had the problem of the rapidly approaching ground to deal with.
She tried her best to control her fall but there was not much she could do from the height she had fallen from. Her body smacked against the hard ground below and she let out a moan of pain. She was thankful she was Hyperborea at the moment as she was fairly certain she would have died falling that distance as ciel.
She tried to stand but her body felt shaky and weak from the impact. "Merde!" She cursed as surge of pain went through her body. She hoped Chaonis would be able to help as she was fairly certain she couldn't fight a general after hit like that. Her legs wobbled as she tried to look for where Painite had ended up.

Painite growled when she was kicked away, the painful blows enough to dislodge her grasp and make her spiral away from Hype as they fell. She teleported before they hit the ground, using the freedom, at least in a small degree, to her advantage. At least this way she would not slam into the ground immediately.
Her eyes were still stinging from the bright light of the Squire's magic, but at least she could see things again without having to wince.
Chaonis, above, was yelling and peering over the edge of the building. He saw Hype kick Painite away, saw the General vanish, and then saw the Squire slam into the ground. He leaped from the rooftop as well, though was well in control of his fall, and rocketed down to slam into the ground not too far off, powerful legs absorbing most of the force.
Painite had already reappeared standing over Hype, slamming her foot on the Squire's midsection to pin her down, and calling her spear to her hand.
"You little brat! You played well, but now the game is over. I hope you're happy with your life so far, because this is all you get!"

As she struggled to get back up Painite reappeared and easily knocked her back down. Before she had time to react a heel stomped on her chest which made her spit up blood and start couching as her lungs tried to recover from the assault.
Her aspect had deactivated, probably because she had lost her focus after smashing into the ground and being pinned down by the general.
She didn't know what to do she couldn't rely on her magic again, since she needed both hands to activated it. The general's spear hovered over her ready to cut the squire's life short. She tried to reach out to grab the spear out of Painite's hand but her arm was too weak right now. There was nothing she could do.
Mama, Papa I'm sorry I failed. I can't face you like this, I can't die now. I'm sorry I'm sorry. she thought as she squeezed her eyes shut. She was going to die here, having done nothing. Her life and the death of her family would all be made pointless by the tip of a spear.

Painite pulled her spear back and let out a malicious yell, twisted with a even more cruel laugh, as she stabbed it down toward the knight she had pinned beneath her. She was caught up in her bloodlust, and forgot all about her nemesis, the Senshi of Danger.
Which was not the smartest thing for her, as she should have known from far too much experience.
"Not today, you evil b***h!"
Chaonis was there as she stabbed downwards, throwing his body over Hype's. He landed on his hands and knees, pushing up as far as he could to create a barrier over her with his body. The spear slammed against the back of his plastic armor, splintering it and piercing through, though it had been slowed by his interruption, her surprise, and the strength of the armor itself.
The Senshi looked down at Hyperborea, eyes glossy and swimming with pain. It seemed stupid bravery ran in the family.
"Take her down. You can do it." He took a breath and turned, the pain in his body nearly overwhelming, but he managed to wrench Painite's spear from her hand. He swung one punch to her gut, sending her sprawling and doubled up, before he collapsed to the ground with blood pooling around him.
The rest of the battle would be up to the Squire.

Hyperborea waited for the spear to hit her but the pain never came as she opened her eyes she saw Chaonis blood pouring from a spear wound.
He saved me, he scarificed himself to save me. Her mind slowly thought. As he managed to deliver a blow to the general that sent her reeling back before he collapsed in a pool of his own blood.
His words Take her down struck a cord with Hyperborea. She propelled herself up to a standing position. Her muscles and bones were aching but she was going off of adrenaline and rage, her pain didn't matter all that mattered was beating down Painite.
With tears of anger and rage streaming down her face she summoned her bow and wasting no time she fired it at the general before she could recover from the senshi's blow.
Watching the woman be caught in the silver explosion of light. Hyperborea willed her weak legs forward as she moved around the general. She swung low and hard with her bow. The made a sicking connection with the back of Painite's knees sending her down to her knees.
Hyperborea took the opportunity to fit her bow over Painite's head. She pulled up on it basically using it as a garrote wire to strangle the woman. The was no technique or clever strategy, Hyperborea just wanted to choke this general out. She on the back of Painites legs to hold her down and get better leverage. The squire didn't relent until she was sure Painite was unconscious. She wasn't sure how long it took and her body was screaming pain the whole time but she held on until the general slumped forward.
Hyperborea would have liked to have finished the job and rid the world of Painite's evil but right now Chaonis was more important. She rushed over to him her legs still shaky. She dropped down to better examine him.
"Chaonis, she's out. I took care of her. I'll get you to a hospital now, just hang on ok. Don't you dare bleed out!"She said in a panicked voice as she struggled to prop him up leaning his body weight on her. She started moving towards the direction of hospital she knew to be near by.

General Painite was still doubled up and reeling from the heavy blow from the Senshi of Danger. He was a physical fighter, and spent a very long time making sure his fists were the ultimate weapon. They tended to work better when he was not about to pass out, though.
Still, she was not expecting another attack so soon, and thought for a second that she had somehow missed Chaonis with her spear, or he was some kind of impossible to kill nightmare, at the force of the hit.
It took her some wild flailing before she realized it was not Chaonis, but Hyperborea that was attacking her.
"You little-"
But her angry tirade was cut off before it could begin, and she found herself being choked by a bow string. Before she could really understand what was going on, she fell unconscious.
Chaonis laughed as Hyperborea returned to him, groaning in pain and standing slowly with her help.
"I'm... I'm alright. No hospital for me... that place sucks. I'll be alright. You did amazing, dude. You... you sure you need training?"

"Even the best swords need sharpening, and I'm definitely not some master fighter." She said with a laugh trying to suppress her grimace of pain. She was definitely going to be sore after tonight for a while.
His praise did make her feel good about herself. Tonight had been a victory, even if it was a costly one.
"Alright fine no hospital, but I'm at least going to take you to a healer. Do you know anyone with healing magic if not I have a friend who has a sash that heals injuries I can call." She offered understanding his desire to avoid hospitals but also not willing to just leave him as is. "And don't try that 'I'll be alright' stuff with me. I'm an expert at playing tough so I can see right though that stuff." She said with a smirk.
