Another night, another patrol. Except this one wouldn't be alone. She and Elpis really did need to talk, and the best time for that...patrols. Because she had a sneaking suspicion of something, but she couldn't confirm it without talking to Elpis. And she wouldn't even have had the suspicion if she hadn't found out about Kells! Hyakutake sighed, leaning against the statue she said she'd be waiting for Elpis at.
This was going to be...interesting.

Super Sailor Elpis stretched as she walked, still feeling fascinated - and confident - in her upgrade. It wasn't particularly vain, so much as the satisfaction she could do more... Like look after younger and newer Senshi more adequately - something she'd clawed her way from still doing for others, but now she could do more. There were exceptions - Callisto for one, probably wasn't in need, but others, yes. And she was sort of sure Hyakutake was newer, and so the Senshi strode for the meeting place with head held high and she waved as she approached, flashing a grin. "Hey Hyakutake!"

"Hey Elpis!" She smiled at the other senshi, shifting from foot to foot as she pushed away from the statue. "Thanks for patrolling with me. I don't mind doing it myself, but it's always better if there's someone with me." Partly because she did get lonely, and partly because her personal magic was geared for defense, not offense. "There's also something I wanted to talk to you about."

"Yeah, what's that?" Elpis idly approached the other senshi with a calm look, blinking as she tilted her head. "Did I mess something up with your stuff?" Elpis asked. "Or is this a case of you're going to do something?"

Hyakutake blinked, then chuckled. "No, no! Nothing like that!" She waved a hand dismissively, then motioned for Elpis to walk with her as she started to move. "Just...you're Kell's daughter, right? Do you have any other siblings?" She knew identities were precious, so she had to go about this carefully. She didn't want to turn a friend into an enemy...

Elpis moved towards Hyakutake to walk with her idly, shrugging and nodding. "Kells is my dad, yeah. He's not being rediculous again is he?" Elpis asked. If he was, Elpis needed words with her father about his behaviour. At her second question, Elpis laughed. "Yeah. I'm a fraternal twin."

"Nah, he's not being any more ridiculous than normal." She smiled. "I was asking because...well, he knows who I am when not henshined, and I know who he is, and...well, that got me wondering about you. Because I know he has kids, and I've even met one of them..." She really, really hoped Elpis wouldn't get mad or hostile or anything like that.

Elpis paused, blinking before laughing, shaking her head and rubbing Hyakutake's back, a wide grin on her face with gentle bemusement. "First, he only has us two in the house. Second, if he trusts you, then that's fine!" The senshi grinned, almost bobbing in place as she bowed happily. "If you want my identify powered down after patrol, that's fine, Hyakutake. Honest! I don't mind. You're not a nutcase."

Oh. So...she was right. Well s**t. Hyakutake couldn't help but laugh, one hand flying up to cover her mouth so the noise was muffled a little. When she stopped, she grinned at Elpis. "I think we already know each other powered down. That's why I was asking. Because there were just things that added up and didn't add up, and...heh. Hi, Loki. It's Black Widow." Who knew dumb nicknames could come so in handy!

" Oooohhhh." Elpis chuckled, grinning finally and playfully punched Hyakutake's shoulder. "So it's you, you nerd. Was this what you wanted to talk about? Unpowered faces? Because sadly I'm boring and cranky with people powered, sorry." The senshi was grinning, the sort of grin belaying a warm, kind heart and a smile that was genuine.

The smaller senshi rubbed where she'd been punched, making a dramatic show of it. "Nerd? I'm wounded!" She giggled. "It's fine, though. I just know our identities tend to be pretty precious, so I didn't want to step on toes. But as I said, too many things clicked." Hyakutake shrugged. "And honestly, I do better patrolling with others. My magic is more defensive than offensive, and punching faces only gets one so far, depending on who we run into."

"Aim for kneecaps and joints." Elpis drawled, then shrugged. "Thoiugh whoever my Dad's been daydreaming about - ******** might get plain evisceation or worse threatened if she breaks his bloody heart. I'm all for him dating because if you ask me, Dad needs laid, but for ******** sake I'm not standing for heartbreak. Seriously, he's dating. Has he told you yet? I'm wondering why he didn't tell me. I've been TRYING to help him get out there for MONTHS!" Elpis groaned, then chirped. "As for identities, I know some senshi and knights are careful. And some not." She shrugged. "It's good to ask though."

Oops. Hyakutake blushed, ducking her head a bit. "Uhm...that girlfriend would be me." She really, really hoped her friend didn't take it badly. Because she really, really loved Albert, and she didn't want to screw things up with one of her nerdfriends. "I've got no plans of breaking his heart, at all."

"Ohhhh." Elpis blinked, then pay Hyakutake's head contentedly. "Well I doubt you'd do it intentionally. And at least you I know better so no need to eviscerate or anything. And besides, accidents might happen and that's because he's a fop and in that aspect he needs a good dose of adulting. That said, honey and beignets if he thinks you betrayed him and wails. It's serious s**t you worry about." Elpis shrugged. "And now I can tell Flynn, and he can actually pay attention to something aside his buddy with bennies."

"I greatly appreciate the fact I will be keeping my innards inside me." Her chuckle was a relieved one, the young woman relaxing. "I shall keep that in mind. I love him dearly, but he can be very over the top. Luckily I have much experience in dealing with over the topness. My younger sister is very overdramatic." She sighed and shook her head.
