Work. She needed work, to keep busy, keep from thinking.
Keep from feeling so lonely.
Shaking her head irritably, Chariklo sped across the rooftops of Destiny City. And when she ran out of rooftops, she'd take to the streets. She was almost praying to stumble across someone from her former Court. Or even better... an agent of the Negaverse. Yes, that latter would be best. Give her an outlet for her pent up aggression.
However, the aura that fluttered across her senses was neither. It was an Eternal senshi, but not one that she recognized. And it seemed to have another aura with it, one that Chariklo couldn't quite place. Well, she thought, satisfying curiosity is almost as good as beating faces into the dirt. Veering off, she headed for the aura. There was such a small chance of it being anyone she knew, but even a stranger would have gossip.
Just gotta keep moving, keep busy, don't think.

The city was beautiful at night, Navi had always thought so, but it was seldom she actually took any time to really enjoy it. Tonight was different. Tonight Navi's patrol had brought her to the top of the skeleton of some building they were erecting in the heart of her and Chaonis' territory. She had lingered, awed at the view, before sinking down to sit on a bit of scaffolding with a purring Hadaya in her lap. She wasn't sure, but she thought perhaps the cat had fallen asleep. His motor was running on high(it usually was(, and his little feet were kneading against her arm, but he hadn't moved for a while now. Not even when Navi felt the other aura drawing nearer. Order, and strong, for a brief second she thought perhaps it was Chaonis coming to join them, but it wasn't familiar enough to be him, and it didn't feel like a knight so that ruled out either of his parents. So she waited, curious, as whoever it was continued their approach, pale eyes trained in the direction she felt them.

Hadaya spent his time happily curled up in Navi's lap. Sometimes he would look out over the city to share in the view she was enjoying, but most of the time he was just content to tilt his head up toward her, encouraging pets, and keep his eyes half closed. His constant purring was a very clear sign of just how happy he was.
His was a very simple kind of love, but it was so strong even he was not sure how his little heart managed to hold it all. All he knew was Navi was the most important thing to him, and it was his duty to be with her, taking care of her, as much as he could.
He had settled down and almost fallen completely to sleep, which was a state that was very hard to rouse him from, when he felt an aura and lifted his head up sharply. He looked around, blinking in confusion, before he realized it was a White Moon one. His being near Navi dampened her aura, so at least whoever was approaching probably couldn't sense her as easily.
"Do you know who that is?" he asked, his little, rumbly voice breaking the nice quiet of the evening.

It wasn't long before she saw a dark silhouette in the scaffolding of a construction site. Politely, she curbed her speed so that whoever it was wouldn't feel threatened and tried to figure out why the aura felt odd.
Then it hit her, this was similar to how the ambushes had felt so long ago. Whoever was up there, had to have a cat nearby, playing damper. That was enough to halt her in her tracks. Was whoever-it-was just craving privacy or was something going on that she didn't know about? Either way, she'd have to go slowly. And that just annoyed her. Still. Manners.
Calling out in a low, but carrying voice, she paused near the scaffolding, "Doin' all right up there?"

Haddy's voice was almost starling. She'd assumed he was asleep, but either he'd been awake for a while, or the approaching aura had woken him. With a reassuring smile she looked down at him, stroking the tip of her finger along his nose. "I don't think so." There weren't many white moon senshi she knew, so it stood to reason she didn't know this one. Of course, she could be wrong... "Wait." Her smile slipped, features falling into puzzled lines as she leaned forward to get a look at the one that had stopped nearby. "I think I know that voice." It was hard to see from where she sat, but she saw blonde hair, blue clothing. "We're alright," she answered, voice raised enough to carry, though as soft as she could make it. "How about yourself?" One arm draped across her knees as she leaned against them, looking down. The other curled protectively around Haddy. "Would you like to come up?"

Hadaya watched Navi for a moment, then looked down to where he thought the voice was coming from. His eyes were pretty good, but he did not know all that many faces just yet, so even if he did see the senshi he doubted he would be useful in identifying who it was.
He peered out over the edge of Navi's safety net of arms, looking down and spotting the other senshi. He smiled brightly, always glad to meet other white moon people, but he let his excitement get the better of him. Instead of abiding the gentle direction of the way Navi held him, Hadaya wiggled his way to get a better look down.
Which, of course, resulted in him flopping right out of her arms and falling, feet pointing toward the sky, straight down from the construction area.
"EEEEEEPP!" Was all he could really manage to say as he plummeted down toward the senshi below, doing his best to curl midair and get his feet under him. He curled too much in his panic, though, and started spinning in circles.

For a moment, Chariklo faltered. That soft voice sounded familiar. But it could have just been the distance and her voice echoing around the construction site. Pushing the feeling of vague unease away, Chariklo smiled and laughed a little.
"Doin' aight, I suppose. And don't mind if I do. I could use some friendly gossip."
Anything else she might have said died on her lips as a small cat suddenly tumbled and started to spin in midair. Keeping her eyes on the falling cat, she darted to where she could hopefully get under it and catch the porr little thing before impact. At the last moment, she jumped, using bits of the proto-building to kick off of in order to wrap her arms protectively around the cat. Which now left her falling, but she was used to jumping down from rooftops. Besides, she had that augmented senshi strength and endurance to fall back on. The cat didn't!
"Umm...," she began as she landed hard on the ground. "Give me a minute and I'll bring your cat back up to you. You okay, fuzzy?" she muttered as she turned her attention to the cat, gently touching it's, his? ear tip.

"Careful, Haddy," she murmured to him as he stretched himself so he could peer over the edge of her lap. He wasn't the most graceful of felines, bless his sweet little heart. Endearingly clumsy, though there were occasions where that clumsiness caused the senshi a good deal of alarm. Such as now, as his stocky little body slipped out of her arms and started to fall. "Hadaya!" The only thing that kept Navi from simply jumping after him was the quick art of the senshi below. She was already racing to catch him, throwing herself off her perch to scoop the little cat into her arms before crashing hard into the dirt below. Navi winced as she quickly got to her feet, hopping down a few cross bars. "Are you both alright?" She bit her lip, worried about the senshi now as much as Hadaya.
