Iah:
Intelligent:
Iah doesn’t do well with people, however he also has a need to help others so he’s often reading away leading him to be quite book smart especially when it comes to useless bits of trivia and anything having to do with health. As he didn’t have many friends as a child Iah often could be found reading anything he could get his hands on to, as such things come easily and quickly to Iah… if he bothers to actually apply himself to learning it.

Gentle:
Iah hates hurting things and is probably the type to take a bullet for his enemy. He’ll be the first to get up and help you or come to your defense if he thinks your innocent. He wants everyone to be happy and enjoy life to the fullest. He’ll also be the first to offer up a sympathetic ear.

Patient:
Iah knows that people don’t always grasp things that interest him as fast as he does. As such he doesn’t mind waiting while you catch up or figure it out and he’s always ready to give a guiding hand to teach you. He has a legendary hold on his temper and is still trying to disarm the situation long after others have given up. Other than learning this patience includes just being there for others and listening to your problems without getting angry.

As freshling Iah was crippling shy, so much that often if you wanted to talk to him you’d have to talk to Zillah first. He was always trying to hide behind Zillah and seriously got panic attacks when any one new came near him. He didn’t know how to socialize what so ever. Luckily this will get better as Iah gets older but he’ll always be hesitant to approach others first

Mischievous-
While Iah has some very good traits, being Kind and Gentle and Supportive he has a very secret flaw he keeps hidden. He is extremely mischievous. If you can talk him into a harmless prank he’s up for it. Get him near a deck of cards; you’re likely to lose all your money. He’s also extremely well at hiding when he doesn’t want to be found. While this isn’t his worst bad trait he’s often known to fall prey to it from time to time.

Low self-esteem
Iah is his own worst critic, he believes he should be better than he is and often fears that he hasn’t grown from that small little boy that hid behind Zillah whenever he could get away with it. On really bad days he wonders why people like him or why they even stick around. This feeds into his shyness and he often thinks he'll be rejected so he doesn't try at things or try to be social. The only time he doesn’t suffer from his self-esteem seems to be whenever you place a deck of cards or any sort of card game in front of him.

General Personality
Iah
Iah is very shy and can often withdraw into himself preferring to watch other people be happy than go out and mingle He’s extremely point to everyone and if he sees some one suffering he’ll try to rise to the occasion to be an ear to listen to. Iah secretly is a food lover and tends to eat more than anyone thinks he should be able to. Luckily he’s also very athletic and so he’ll work off most of the calories. Iah is very curious when it comes to learning things especially he’s surroundings and if you can’t find him he’s likely in a tree or some other such high place watching the sky or the people below.

However he also has a strong set of morals and makes sure he never delves into anything that can be considered stalking. He’s always wanted to help people and those who befriend him have a fiercely loyal friend for life. Unfortunately Iah is hard on himself and tends to fall into insecurity and he’ll often push himself too hard not really caring if he gets hurt in the process of helping others. He’s horrible at taking care of his own health. Something that is slowly changing since he’s met Amy.

Astronomy:
Iah has always been fascinated with looking at the stars. It brings a sense of peace to him and he feels connected to other people. He wonders what’s lurking out there and what wonders can yet be found. If you can’t find him and its night time it’s a good chance that he’s in some high place looking up.

singing
Its one of those secret things about iah, and he'd definitely never admit to it in public but Iah secretly loves music even more he likes singing. It helps speed up and adds a bit of flavor to anything he’s doing. He can often be seen humming something under his breath if he’s alone in his dorm room or home as he’s running around doing chores or homework.

Sweets:
Iah has a sweet tooth a mile long. If its gummy, chocolatey or generally sugar in nature its most likely that he loves it. He has a ridiculously high sugar tolerance and his friends have often commented that they don’t understand how he isn’t throwing up. It also relaxes him when he’s studying or working on something stressful.

Heat-
Iah for what ever reason seems to get rather sick whenever it gets overly stuffy and hot. Its been true for as long as he could remember as such prying him away from his very air conditioned room in the middle of summer is an act of the gods. He’ll of course leave if you truly need him but he will not be happy. It also dosn’t help that hot tends to mean sun and Iah burns extremely easily. He's tried to tan but all that came of it was he turned into a lobster.

Fragrances-
If you want to suddenly kill Iah off the fastest way is to gift him flowers or anything overly scented. He gets really heavy migraines whenever he walks by flower shops or candle stores to the point that sometimes his lungs just don’t want to listen to him when he wants to breathe. He’s also very likely to defriend you unfortunately if you lean towards heavy perfumes.

Nosy people-
Fastest way to get iah irritated at you is when you try to stick your nose into something that is obviously someone else’s business, this is especially true when it’s not life threatening and done for just curiosity. Iah unfortunately spent a good portion of junior year trying to clear out rumors that some nosy person started because they misunderstood Iah’s relationship with a girl and blew it out of proportion. This is why he's always careful when he people watches, he makes sure not to become a hypocrite and but it in when its none of his business.

Iah:
Iah wants to help people. He’s always wanted to help people; he can’t explain where this need comes from. He just knows that he’s wanted to help people through medicine from a young age. It just drives him in his learning and in his grades. After all you need good grades in order to be the best doctor

Darkest fears
Iah
Iah wants to be understood. He’s been the subject of gossip enough that he’s always afraid his friends will misunderstand him. He’s especially afraid of losing Amy because she means the world to him. As such his deepest fear is a combination of two things. One is that his friends will suddenly realize they don’t want to be friends with him anymore and turn against him and spread rumors. While he knows its ridiculously silly and believes his friends would rather cut out their own tongues it’s a fear that won’t particularly leave him.

His second deepest fear is that he doesn’t have what it takes to be a doctor. He’s wanted it for so long he doesn’t know what he would do if he failed.

Being a Geist
Iah:
Iah can be just as mischievous and crafty as the best geist. In fact you never want to play a card game with Iah, because Iah will always win. Most of the time his wins are done through skill and reading his opponents, other times he just flat out cheats to win. Behind his charm and kindness lies a love for playing with his opponents and an ability to prank with the best of them.

To say the least Iah loves being a geist. He grew up in a large family and geist culture came naturally to him. He does know and has experienced the prejudices against geists, especially when things would go missing around the dorm. While as a freshman this used to both Iah greatly, but as he’s gotten older he knows those that choose to cast suspicion against him don’t want to understand and truthfully at the end of the day his friends don’t really care what race he is, to him that’s enough.

Life at school

Going to the academy really helped open Iah up. As a freshling he was shy as all get out and had panic attacks in large crowds. However his caretakers never gave up on him and devoted a lot of time to allowing Iah to realize an identity away from Iah and to open up from himself.

He loves being in Enoch. People don’t look at him strange when he tends to know all the answers or that he wants alone time to curl into a book about stars or reproduction cycle of a Nezubat. He’s also extremely happy in the fact that being in Enoch makes Zillah smile as she doesn’t feel so weird any more.
