"Oh come on! Just what is wrong with you today?!"
Elnath huffed and stomped her foot, staring incredulously at the mirror shard that she had in her hand. Nope. Still no mirrorwraith. The Dark Mirror Senshi shot a look at the inebriated pair she had chanced upon in the alley next to the bar that she used to work at before Remarque came along and bailed her out. Yup. Still sleeping like the big irresponsible babies that they were in spite of the ruckus that she was kicking up in order to coax the mirrorwraith out of mirrorspace.
This was really strange. She had never encountered something like this before. Could it be that the mirror shard was malfunctioning? Perhaps broken even? She turned said object this way and that, inspecting it closely to at the very least confirm that it wasn't the latter. This was a total waste of her time. She really had half a mind to take her frustration out on the drunkards by stabbing them with the mirror shard on the off chance that that was what was needed to get it to work. Anything so that she could finally head back to relax after a very long and busy week.

Mintaka had been mirror hopping, transporting some things to the negaverse for Auro's mission and helping the captain with quota's to make it to General. She figured the minute he did though, they could really start moving the DMC back into the favor of the negaverse.
As she hopped out in a area near Elnath, the radar built for sensing aura's in her felt the similar coolness of a mirror senshi. Basic and that was great! She wondered if it was Ubasti again, since she hadn't seen the other in awhile.
She moved closer to the aura, and once the girl was in sight, stopped and took her in. She was, to Mintaka, new! A new dark mirror!
"Excuse me!!" She waved smiling at the woman, "Hi! Are you okay?"

Elnath too had felt the aura of the Eternal Dark Mirror as soon as she came within range, the other senshi almost immediately homing in on her current location almost as if she was a distress beacon which... kinda pretty much wasn't far from what she was feeling right now all things considered. For a moment, the Dark Mirror was under the impression that the other senshi was Remarque whom she admittedly hadn't seen for awhile but always seemed to have a knack of appearing on the pretext of checking up on her whenever she required his assistance.
But who could blame her really when she had only run into him and Tantalus so far and hadn't any idea otherwise of the numbers that made up her court and new family. It wasn't as if the Dark Mirrors gathered regularly in Mirrorspace to hang out together or something similar so relying solely on random encounters like the one that was about to happen any moment now in a city as big as Destiny City could only really do so much.
Hearing the very obvious feminine voice that called out to her, Elnath turned to regard Mintaka with a small smile though that quickly gave way to one of sheer awkwardness when she went on to spell out what exactly was troubling her. "Hey... I don't know what's wrong. It's not broken or anything but the mirrorwraith's not coming out either."

Mintaka couldn't help but stare at the girl. She didn't find many basic Dark mirrors and most of her friends were either super or eternal like herself. She was thrilled and a bit jealous of seeing the girl. She wondered what it be like if DMC was all she knew?
She smiled sweetly though at the other girl before coming closer. "Oh? Is yours being shy?" Sometimes wraiths were shy, sometimes they were aggressive. Sometimes they just did what they wanted. She wondered if they listened better to eternals because they were stronger as powered? Wraiths seemed to respect power.
"If you don't mind? May I see?" She hesitantly held out her hand and smiled again. "My name is Mintaka, What's yours?"

"Shy? I didn't know that these things have personalities akin to a human." Elnath admitted with a shrug as she handed her mirror shard over to Mintaka. How was she to know really when all the mirrorwraith did whenever she called upon it through the shard was flit through people and absorb their energy before darting back into it again? It wasn't like it ever stopped to greet much lest hold an actual conversation with her.
Looking at the Eternal Dark Mirror from head to toe, she smiled as well. "I'm Elnath. If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been in this war?"

"They aren't perfect replicates. I like to think of them more like animals?" Her hands played over her own compact with her three shards hidden away. "They aren't pets, and not really wild but they have temperaments and often bond to senshi who are willing to deal with those behaviors. " Mintaka's smile never faded, as she took the shard and laid her hand over it.
"If you wouldn't mind little one, I would very much like to meet you?" She waited for the piece to glow, releasing the wraith from inside it. With a little focus, she fed her own energy into the shard and waited. Moments later, the wraith slowly appeared.
"Hello little one!" Mintaka chirped and looked over to Elnath, "Sometimes, if you offer a bit of your energy, it helps coax them to getting used to you!" She paused, "Apologies, My name is Mintaka. I've been in the war for three years. I joined the dark mirror court almost five or six months ago."

Temperaments... huh?
Despite her own reservations and thoughts on Mintaka's analogy of likening mirrorwraiths to animals, Elnath held her tongue for the meantime while she watched what the Eternal Dark Mirror did with the mirror shard that was handed over. Rather unusual method that she used there, but at least it worked. When she returned her gaze from the mirrorwraith that had appeared to Mintaka, there was a newfound respect and humility in the brunette's gaze.
"Offering my energy... is there any other way to get them to behave other than that? What if they turn on us because we appear more delectable to them next to those whom we need their assistance to drain energy from?" She voiced out her concern, trying to keep her tone polite and pleasant the entire time. "Pleased to meet you Mintaka. You mean to say... that you weren't a dark mirror senshi like us before that?"
Pixie Nyxie I finally got my muse back after so long. I'm so sorry. I'm fine with dropping this if you find it hard to pick it back up though... orz
