Fall was settling in pretty quickly. It was funny how the month changed, and it was so evident in the weather. It was chillier at night, hoodies and jackets were broken out. Night broke at 8pm now, instead of the later 9 to almost 10pm. You could smell it in the air, sticky wet heat was replaced with the incoming breezy light fall scent.
Fall meant, to a lot of people, the beginning of the end of the year. It meant that change was coming and that it was time to prepare. Shops would be filling with Halloween gear soon, followed quickly by thanksgiving. And before Thanksgiving rolled around, Santa Claus would be taking shelves up in every store from her to the other side of town to remind everyone of the worse holiday of the year.
Pyro didn't think of himself as a pessimist but damn, he did really hate when fall rolled around. He hated holidays, with their bustle and their never ending propaganda. BUY THIS FOR HALF OFF, get this for free when you spend this much!
He had more important things to concern him with now. The negaverse demanded a quota to be filled, and he would not disappoint. With fall coming in, people were more scarce but it made it easier to find those couple of ones hanging out. Draining their energy was easy. Starseed pulling though still left him a little queasy. Homeless were the best and easy targets. He tucked his hands into the pockets of his uniform pants and rolled on his heels.
Where should he start for fun tonight?

How could anyone hate fall?
One of many thoughts that flitted through Clarissa Ark’s mind as she wandered the streets of Destiny City. Lost in her thoughts, the purple haired girl strolled through the streets attracting the gaze of many. Admiring the sight, fall was one of the best seasons of the year, she surmised. Well, one of the only two including winter. Looking up at the bright sky, it was accentuated by the colors of orange, red, and yellow. It was beautiful sight to behold. Sunny beaches was nice but the heat was another. At least, one could leisurely enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the chilly autumn air.
Passing by a window, she noticed something that caught her eye..
Crouching down to the ground, she giggled at the sight before her. It was a row of small toy pumpkins that had a multitude of different expressions-- happy, angry, sad, horrified, gleeful, and even one that looked like a face of frustration crying out ALL MAN REALLY-- in a row that lit up simultaneously. It seemed they all came in a set.
"How adorable," she mused aloud. Unable to resist the temptation, she had them all brought up in a little pumpkin bag.
It probably wouldn't be useful for anything, but it was cute! She could use it as decorations among the window.. If anything, one could probably throw it..
Along with the pumpkin purchase, Clarissa had spent the entire day shopping. She wanted to acquaint herself with the town, seeing as she would be here for awhile. Making her way down the street, she took an out-of-the-way turn that would lead her on to the main street that connected with her dorm. She knew it was a popular shortcut that most students took, though it was a little on the shady side. There weren't as many lights or people that took this street. But that also explained why it was a shortcut.
In her efforts to cross, she noticed but didnt give much thought to the boy approaching in the dim light.

Pyro shifted in his spot and well, moved out of the alleyway. It was doing him no good here to wait for someone to come by. Homeless didn't just wander into alleys, they were established and protective. Especially if it was a safe home from others.
Instead, he took to the main streets, picking some targets out of the very small crowd. A turn down another street led him to a very empty row of small shops and then...to nothing but grass and wall.
It was a shortcut, he assumed, but was quickly gleeful when he realized that his path would lead him in the way of a cute little girl. A cute little girl he purposely put himself in the way of so that when they connected, he could play her.
Plan start.

Hurrying along the path, she noticed that there was someone else there. A person seemed to magically appear from the shadows, emerging in the dim light. A student from her school? Nah, it was a boy. Her school's attendance was comprised of all girls. The boy's school was further away. Normally, that would not have warranted a glance, if not for his unusual appearance.
Cosplay maybe?
Clarissa might have been new to Destiny City but she didn't think the citizens would wear a military outfit on a daily basis. Not that she had seen.. or had she? She had the feeling she was forgetting something.. but for the life of her, she couldn't seem to recall. Maybe it wasn't important. Well, who knows what kind of people were in the world. He wasn't unsightly by any means, she didn't quite understand his preferences.
Oh well, it wasn't any of her business she surmised.
Increasing her pace by a few steps, she didn't notice the way he purposely put himself in front of her. Distracted by the surroundings she suddenly ran into a hard chest. "Ah, excuse me!" she said, her gaze directed upwards in an apology, ignorant of the malicious gleam in his eyes. "I didn't mean to hit you sir.."

She was, very very cute. The closer she had come to him, the better it got appearance wise. It was like, his very lucky night and also a really sad night. He'd get to see a pretty girl...said pretty girl was going to be one of the next victims in the string of missing people.
It was really a shame.
As the collision progressed and she was apologizing, he made his face fall into annoyance.
"Sure you didn't hun, Pick my pocket or something? I didn't think crime was bad at night." Pyro patted his jacket before the smile crept on his face, "Just playing, It's pretty late out..." He grabbed her wrist, drawing it up, "You should really carry some mace around." His hand dug into her chest before she could get much else out. As the starseed popped out of her chest, he took a gander down below and realized...
"Oh s**t..." She was a chaos agent. The starseed was muted with chaos, swimming with it. He hurriedly stuffed it back in and glared at the girl, "Why didn't you tell me?" This was all her fault and he wasn't going to get in trouble cause the girl didn't recognize a agent like her!
