Personality: In pretty much everything, Blaylock practically exudes confidence. He just knows that he'll be good at whatever he puts his mind to, and because of this he tends to be extremely competitive and cocky. He loves to win, and has no problem shoving it in someone's face. When he loses, he will have a bad attitude about it. Later, after he's calm again, he'll take the experience and learn to make himself better. Blay also has the ability to turn pretty much anything into a game, even if it's something against himself. He's constantly challenging himself to be better, to do better, to be the best.

Speaking of the best: Orderites are the best. He fully believes that, and looks down on other races because of it. He has no use for Oblivionites or Dovaa, and thinks them both weaker and not as good as Orderites. Half or mixed blood Magescians tend to receive the same kind of animosity from him as well. Especially if they're not mixed with Orderite. Those that are rank higher on Blay's scale of "awesomeness" but not nearly as high as pure blood Orderites.

Another facet of his confidence is his irrepressible need to do stupid things, AKA daredevil stunts. He loves to show off, especially if he's learned a new skill. This can (and, no doubt, will) get him into a lot of trouble later when he's fighting in battles (or even just sparring matches), or dragon hunting. He has a tendency to take unnecessary risks to his life and limb in order to come back a hero, or at least with an awesome story to tell about his adventures.

In addition to this, he can be very vain. Not just with his looks, but in everything. He's awesome, and he thinks everyone should know it. His looks are only a small piece of what makes him awesome but since they are the first thing others know of him, he's going to make sure it's a good first impression. He's also of the idea that no one is as awesome as he is.

Aside from his rampant stupidity incredible confidence, Blaylock is an extremely loyal friend. He will never turn his back on those who have his trust, and will go out of his way to protect or help his friends if they need it. That being said, his trust is freely given to his friends. All others he is suspicious of their intentions. And gods forbid someone break his trust. They'll never earn it back.

He is also a defender of the defenseless and will never turn his back on someone who can't protect themselves. He's a fierce fighter and while he prefers long range weapons, he's no slacker with up close and personal weapons.
Biography/Background: Blaylock has no idea who his parents are. The day after his birth, he was left on the steps of the closest orphanage. So far it's never really bothered him that he doesn't know his parents. The other kids at the orphanage are his family, and he has plenty of friends at school. He's never really been lonely because of this. He has also made a few enemies thanks to his smart aleck attitude and his innate need to protect others. He's always been the kind of kid who would intervene if he saw someone being bullied, and the bullies don't like him very much for it.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement: He believes it's an old war that has no place in the world of today. The gods themselves are no longer fighting, so why should the rest of them? They may have been created to fight, but he sees no point in continuing a battle the gods have lost interest in. WHY CAN'T THEY ALL JUST GET ALONG? Or least leave each other alone. Seriously.
Thoughts on the Magescian Races: Orderites are cool. Created to battle her sister's race, the Orderites are just better. They make all the best gadgets, weapons and clothes. Not to mention they're much prettier than their enemy. Oblivionites suck. They don't even have eyes. How lame is that? Besides, their goddess doesn't even let them have personalities. They're all just drones to do her bidding. Which sucks for them since HAHA THE GODS DON'T CARE ANYMORE. Dovaa are wussies. They were made to put an end to the war and all they did was sequester themselves away and let the rest of us sort ourselves out. Really? Hybrids...he could go any way with them. Depends on what side they ally themselves with.
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora: Khehora are awesome. While the feral ones are kinda scary, Blay would love to bond with one. As for Dragons, he can't wait until he's able to start hunting them!

First off, welcome to Magesc! I'm glad this baby is getting some attention and it's awesome you chose the adoption center first. Over all his idea is pretty neat and I can't want to see what you do with him.

However, I feel like his personality needs to be touched on more. He seems almost too good to be true and needs more negative traits. A person isn't just one sided. Even the best of people have negative traits. You do have at least one negative trait (cocky) but you go on, after mentioning it, to say that he is rarely a sore loser and never shoves a win in an opponent's face. These things basically contradict the cocky attitude. If someone is cocky they're not going to really like losing and are going to boast about winning a lot (at least as far as I've seen in my experiences). A cocky attitude most definitely isn't a positive trait. So if you're going to stick with that, maybe try playing a little more on it as well as adding a few more negatives to him.

In his thoughts on the magescian races you can see a bit of racism coming out in him (even if it's learned and will change later on...it's still part of him right now). Maybe try hitting on that a bit more in his personality?
