[PRP] A Small Flirty Game (Vernandi & Viola)

This is a private roleplay between DeeJaye's Vernandi and Yumitoko II's Viola.

The black and green stallion looked around, trying to find the small mouse that had recently taken a liking to him. He shuffled his hooves around cautiously through the tall grass, hoping to not accidentally step on or crush the small creature in his search. "Hey, Bud, where are you?" he said, his voice deep and smooth. " 'Cause I know you like hiding an' all, but you’re gonna have to cut it out, y'know? Gonna get me worried." There was no reply or sound uttered in reply, though he could see a small shudder in a patch of grass a couple yards off – Vernandi, sure it could only be the mouse, inched over careful before parting the patch of grass with a hoof, revealing a black and pink mouse with bright blue eyes. "Gotcha!" the stallion exclaimed, grinning ear to ear. The mouse squeak back excitedly, and moved over to her large friend. Reflexively, Vernandi arched his large body down towards the mouse, extending a wing so he gave the mouse a path towards her favorite spot on his back. She skittered along his wing, sitting in a position so she could peer over his shoulder with ease.

"Wanna go on a lil' trip?" he asked, tilting his head so he could see Bud. She squeaked a response - which he could only presume meant yes. "Alright, hold tight," he said, lifting himself into the sky. While he was capable of flight, he had difficulty due to his larger size, thus he opted to stay closer to the ground than sky. This did not prevent him from enjoying the scenery however; after all, it was late in the afternoon. Dusk was approaching and the sky was responding appropriately to it, dimming out to allow the stars and moon to take the spotlight. The warm oranges and pinks associated with the evening were darkening into purples and blues and greys. The stallion watched the transformation with awe. He was always amazed how stars seemed to appear one by one, as if they were shy and just waiting on their fellow stars to chime in first before joining.

He could feel Bud skitter up his neck and through his mane, nestling herself on the top of his head. "Pretty, huh?" he said softly. He had been flying for long enough that his wings were already beginning to tire out, so he decided it was time to land. Vernandi directed himself to a small meadow nearby the area he was in previously and landed there with a loud stomping sound. The feeling vibrated through his legs, causing his joints to feel slight discomfort. Definitely not my smoothest landing, he thought to himself.
