Pyrophanites drop off of starseeds at the Negaspace was, in short. Quiet, Creepy and he was hell of ready to go once it was done. Switching from negaspace to real world, was a trip in itself.
He debated on the urge to keep going out and collecting OR to stop and take a break for a bit.
The building he returned though, changed his mind. Mainly because he felt the sign of a chaos agent at his level. He slowly stepped outside, pulling his cap back and searched out the owner of the signature.
Maybe he'd be lucky and it was a really cute babe. That'd be a great end to his night.

The negaspace was not a pleasant place for most people, including Lt. Serpierite. Coincidentally, she had the same objective to do as Pyrophanites. The star seeds that she played with in her hands, was done out of necessity and not for the particular pleasure of ripping out people's hearts.
She tilted her head after letting go of the glowing objects, trying to pinpoint the exact feeling. It was not surprising that there was another similar presence in the negaverse lair and building, although uncommon since Serpierite chose hours that didn't lead to encounters with fellow comrades. To be honest, she wasn't well acquainted with her enemy or comrades. It was another lieutenant, wasn't it..?
The person who seeked her out would find the female negaverser sitting on a statue decorating the rooftops for a nearby building, staring out at the stars of the night. Her silver hair flowed in the wind, teal eyes glancing briefly back to stare at the approaching intruder. She wasn't in immediate danger since it was a negaverser, but it certainly didn't mean all would go well either. "Why, hello there." She spoke, meaning to gauge their intentions.

Pyro didn't have to look hard, because it wasn't hard to miss a girl on a rooftop, or sitting on a statue. What was it like...3am...4am? And in fall?
He jumped up to where she was really, taking advantage of those super powers and grinned as he came closer. She was, in short, really really hot.
"Hey!" He fidgeted, "What up babe?" Er, "Chick? Sorry." Why was he apologizing. It wasn't like she was like...And its not like he cared or something.
"No offense but why you sitting out here? You waiting for your boyfriend?" NOT SO SUBTLE.

His nervousness was almost... endearing. As evidenced by his quick words and apologies, when there wasn't a particular need. She relaxed, seeing that there was no need to fear this person. "You can address me as Lt. Serpierite." Babe and chick, as flatting as they were, would be difficult to answer to, would it not?
Standing up, she began to approach him. Lowering her head, she looked up at him with an upwards glance, quickly assessing him from head to toe. It wasn't so hard to figure out his intentions. And why not? Lacie knew that she was a beautiful girl. From the looks of it, he was a younger male lieutenant. After straightening her body so that she looked at him on an equal level, hiding her smile and looking contemplative, she decided to tease him with a "Hmm..? What if I do?" She let that sit up in the air for a moment
Stopping a few feet in front of him, ".. Just kidding!" A small smile graced her features, showing that she enjoyed teasing him. Her hand lightly touched the base of her throat, and then extended with a dramatic flourish towards their surroundings while she answered the why, "Why am I out here? There is only one time for villains to be out, is there not?"

"You want the whole Lieutenant in that too?" He blinked. That was a long a** name to say. "What about Sep, or Serp? Like, It's just a mouthful. What if we get in trouble? I gotta pause to call out your name." He started to nervously babble because unlike with Vanadite, He couldn't just...try smooth words and s**t.
"Oh." He frowned, then squinted. "Cause he ain't good enough for you." He crossed his arms and grinned at her. "Like, no offense or anything to the dude. But he probably doesn't know what to do with a beauty like you."
Pyro had no idea what to do either, but he could pretend he did. Then she teased him and he actually sat stunned. Was...was she flirting back? Teasing him? WOMEN.
"Night time yeah. I guess. I mean that's what we are right?" He cocked his head, "Or are we good guys purging the evil. I don't know. I don't feel like a villain. Do you?"

"Serp is fine. I don't really care what you call me." She wasn't very attached to her given ranking name. So whatever he called her was fine in the end anyways. "But what should I callyou when I'm in trouble?" An equal exchange of names was fair after all~
His response was typical to her question. And his response made sense after all. "Villains or heroes? The question that is eternally asked throughout history?" Although some would it more eloquently, the essence of the question stayed the same. And the question caused her smile to turn wry. Turning her back to look at the distance of the city over the night, her voice rang clearly. "Who knows whether we're the heroes or the villains? Can anyone truly tell until the war is over and history is retold in the eyes of the winners, or self proclaimed heroes?" Despite what the negaverse tried to teach her, Serpierite played along but didn't necessarily believe in their cause. She needed to survive after all, being forcefully inducted and then told to perform her duties or be killed?
"Regardless of what you believe in, the moment that we took the lives of innocent people who were not involved in this war, we became something less than human."
"But then again, all people in war do become less than human, don't they?" She didn't proclaim to be different. She was a monster for wanting to survive. And she would acknowledge that.
"But this might be too heavy for such a young person as yourself." Though she wasn't much older truthfully. "Let us not concern ourselves over that. Tell me about yourself."

"Pyrophanite, sorry, Pyro for short if you wanted. Uh, I'm a lieutenant too and stuff, so you don't have to be like...all formal with me and stuff either. I'm all about like close relations and stuff...Wait not those close relations!" he waved his hands around.
She went on a rant about stuff that was way over his head and he was like....not that great with words and he was terrible and it was just like...He just watched her and stuff. She had a mature way of moving, which was hot.
"Uh...sure. At the not human thing. and war stuff." He narrowed his eyes in contemplation. "I'm not like totally young and stuff. I'm 17. How old are you?" He hadn't quite mastered that smoothness.
"I ain't got much to tell. I'm just a kid from the street who got picked up. Trying to make through the ranks. You?"

"Well then, Pyro." She relaxed, stifling a giggle into her hand at his continued nervousness. "Here's to being comrades in the battle field." She held out her hand for him to shake.
His unsure answer didn't surprise her. She could tell that he didn't quite understand her words, and the complex moralistic questions it raised behind it. But that was all right, as she had never been expecting an answer. If it could be so simply answered, she would never have considered it in the first place. Instead, she followed through on the direction of his topic. "17.. so you must still be in high school. I'm 21." She had long graduated high school and was enrolled in a private college.
The entry into the negaverse caused her eyes to darken for just a brief second- quickly disappearing. "I was convinced to join in a way, I suppose. While I'm in no rush to progress through the ranks.." Though jumping through the ranks led to more power, it certainly meant more responsibility. So far, choosing her battles wisely led to her survival thus far with similar levels, it wouldn't last forever. "Shall we train together one day in the negaverse space in a mock battle?" He might have a bit of trouble hitting her, but she wasn't shy about using that to her advantage when the time came.

He took her hand and shook, staring at it. Comrades huh? Even if it wasn't her number, it was still pretty cool. Like, how often did you make comrades with a hot chick on a battlefield? That s**t was dedicated to fantasy and video games.
"Uh homeschooled." Oh s**t, she was...way older then him. Which really made sense and stuff but made him feel like s**t. There was no way a 21 year old woman was gonna be interested in stuff a 17 year old kid said. He stiffened, even though he didn't mean too. "I got street smart though, and my GED. I didn't wait for that. I took the classes they wanted, and my mom taught me well. So I know all that basic s**t you need." As if it really mattered, he was a super power badass.
"What, battle you? Why'd I do that? I mean sure mock battles or whatever are cool, but when am I gonna need to fight you?" He narrowed his eyes, "You aren't gonna become like those fancy order knights? Don't man, they are all prissy pants."

She noticed the stiffening of his body when she mentioned her age. That made sense, considering the years of experience between them that would seem like an unsurmountable barrier. "As long as that knowledge helps you to survive, I don't think it would matter where it was obtained." She didn't mean solely surviving these battles. It was important to survive in the war, but also to survive in the everyday life they lived. They needed to maintain a balance, lest they would lose themselves. As some negaversers already did...
But his rejection to her offer made her remember how young he was. Or was it inexperience rather than age? Either way, it was important to know. "Why would you want to have a mock battle with a fellow powered being?" She lifted a hand, putting up the appropriate amount of fingers with each corresponding point. "First, it's training so that you can become stronger. Second, if I had a partner to rely on in a life or death battle, I would want to know their strengths and weaknesses so I can act accordingly to compensate. Third, think of all the situations that should happen during the encounter. Holding them, straddling them, touching them in situations that involve close combat which is not usually acceptable in real life-" Her lifted hand reached out to push her flowing hair back, maintaining her smile in her expression. Did she have to continue to make her point? She was having fun in her own way, teasing the young male. Though she was careful never to head into arrogance to the point of insulting.
She walked around the rooftop, feeling to need to stretch her body as the conversation continued. "But no, I have no plans of joining the knights. If I have to fight in a battle between those with super powers, I prefer a side with a greater chance of winning." The negaversers clearly outnumbered the knights. And at the very least, she had an adorable outfit.

Pyro started to fidget now. Between her cool demeanor and chill attitude, he was well....rough. Stupid. It was cool, he'd never be cool enough. Or maybe one day he could be. ONE DAY.
"I don't think of those things like, I've never had someone to offer before." Pyro crossed his arms, "I mean I get where you're coming from. It'd be cool to have someone I can trust fully. But like, I've never had that. I grew up in gangs and s**t. It's every man for himself until ya'll are together. I thought the negaverse was the same."
She had too many points and he wondered why he had such apprehension to battling her. Maybe it was cause he didn't have a cool weapon to show off to her. He had, honestly, a toy bus.
"Okay, stuff. I guess I can get to know you from fighting." He shrugged, "Or we could go to the arcade or something." And then he sighed, "I don't wanna fight you on the other side. I don't think I can handle it."

A mild surprise flickered within his eyes, hearing about his gang childhood. As a privileged girl, she had never been exposed to that side of life. While she was aware of it, she would never make the mistake of making assumptions or judgement. "Well then, it's up to you to see if the negaverse will be different." There were many factions within the negaverse, surely those who worked in teams and those who worked individually. The connections and friends, along with the enemies he would create through his interactions. His reluctance to fight made her smile ruefully. Teasing him had gone far enough, she might as well make him more comfortable. "We can put that off for next time." She agreed, without a trace of disappointment. His suggestion on the other hand.. "Hmm? An arcade?" She thoughtfully considered that, tilting her head to the side. "Why don't you show me what's fun?" "Shall we move to a more appropriate place then?" Her sweeping gaze across the rooftops indicated that this was not the place for such a casual interaction, lest they be caught by their superiors or enemies. Taking a step backwards until she stood on the very edge of the building, and pointing downwards with a smile to a currently vacated alleyway that would lead out onto the main streets, she gave him a nod to meet each other there. Taking another step backwards until she fell backwards, deliberately falling off the short rooftop -- which wouldn't hurt for any person with super powers -- her powered aura quickly disappeared. When Pyro joined her, he would see Serpierite in her civilian form, dressed in a cute dress, stockings, and a feminine coat since the weather had begun to hold a chill in early September. Pixie Nyxie Didn't know if this was the direction you wanted to take them in, lmk, and I can change my post?

"Besides you, it don't seem no different." He shrugged again. Pyrophanite wouldn't call himself a pessimist but real. Gangs were shifty business, they didn't offer a lot of future but damn....they offered protection and a steady illegal income. Up until someone snitched. He hadn't needed too. Negaverse ran most of the big gang circles, so he was good. His own hood had backed off when they heard he was involved with 'them'.
"Yeah cool-" Wow a next time? Pyrophanite was ecstatic! Not many girls planned on a next time after meeting him. That was legit! "Yeah there is some littered around the town and stuff. Like a nickel arcade down the street if you want." He puffed his chest. He'd show her the town now that she asked.
"Eh move? Well like..." His eyes nearly popped out of his head at her stunt, running over to check over the ledge. She powered down as she hit the ground and that was like one of the COOLEST things he had seen done ever. Following suit, he threw his legs over the edge, arms up and whooped loudly. As he touched the ground, with no damage, the powered form of Pyro disappeared and Hudson replaced it.
"You are seriously beautiful!" He comment, tugging his red hoodie and fixing his jeans. he didn't want to look sloppy, but he looked like any typical teenage boy. From his back pocket, he pulled a red ball cap and placed it on his head backwards, smooshing the wavy auburn hair of his.
"Uh...My name is Griffon Hudson Rider, but most call me Hudson. You can call me whatever you want though." He cocked her head, "You...have like a normal name right?

She knew she was beautiful. And she didn't hesitate to use it to her advantage. With a confidence that reconfirmed his statement, she remarked, "Blessed with beauty- I would thank the higher power, but in light of what we do, it feels quite contradictory." With the way they took human lives, it would be ridiculous if they believed in the so-called God -- whichever religion, whichever name, take your pick. But that wasn't the subject for now. Looking over him contemplatively, the tilt of her head accompanied with an approving look. "Can't say you're half-bad either." While he was not quite her type, he had been blessed with good looks that he would grow into eventually. He still had the high school feel- but eventually that would disappear as well.
"Why yes, I do have a name." With a flourish and a bow, she introduced herself once more, this time as a civilian: "My name is Lacie. Lacie Lucis Fleuret to be exact. You may address me as Lacie, Hudson." She lifted her head with a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her lips that showed she was open to whatever Hudson wanted to show her, she took a step out of the dreary alleyway.
Nudging a reminder in his direction so that they didn't forget their original purpose, "An arcade, you say?"
