 (Banner pending) Perhaps the most common of the tribes, the B'alam of this tribe don't have any special features to set them apart from the others really. They're hard workers and quite proud of it. Most live on the land, cultivating their territory. Their pelts are commonly colored in earthen tones, but they don't seem to favor or dislike any colorations as a collective. The tribe makes their home in the open plains across the face of the realm. They are the most plentiful of the tribes and tend to adapt well to any territory. Earth magic takes on several forms. Some B'alam can alter the quality of the soil, filling it with additional nutrients to allow the flora to flourish. Some can outright draw growth from the plants, causing a sapling to become a tree within moments. It requires a good deal of energy but it comes in quite useful from time to time. Others can call boulders from the ground, even throwing them. However, the B'alam can only lift as much earth with their spirit as their bodies can physically tolerate. *Credit of layout goes to Thalion

[-Spiffy Banner-]
▬▬▬ Chief (Arch Magi) || ◘ Riot|| [ [ Radical Dreamer ] ] | (Title?) | Riot was raised by Sir. Robert (affectionately known as Bob). He was woven a cub and left to wander the big world alone, that is, until he meet Nikita. The two young cubs made a pact to find "pink rocks" and quickly formed a strong and unbreakable friendship. Eventually they were found and adopted by Bob.
Though Bob taught Riot all he could, Riot learned a great deal through his travels to find Nikita after she had been kidnapped as a cub. He ventured across the map and fist hand saw most of the tribes during his travels. The dart tribe especially were helpful in his quest. Gabriel personally swore to help Riot with anything he needed.
Riot is a headstrong B'alam that is unmovable as the rocky mountains. He has an ego and is very appreciative of himself and all that he is. Despite his immense love of himself, there is one thing he values above all else, his other half, Nikita. Riot will do anything for his other half. He knew from the time he could understand what a spirit was that she was for him.
That said, Riot does not like it when his possessions are messed with. Anything that is his is an extension of himself, and thusly is automatically better than everything else. Riot is normally carefree and easy going, but get on his bad side and things can get pretty scary really quick. He is larger than the average b'alam and seems to have an intimidating presence about him (especially when agitated).
Riot is the lead arch-magus over Ander, though he still lets Ander take care of the ceremonial stuff. There are better things he could do with his time than oversee ceremonial details.
◘ Sir. Robert (Bob) “Ander”|| || [ GunSniper ] | (title?)| Sir. Robert ( or Bob as his adopted cubs called him) was a wanderer before he meet the young Riot and Nikita. He raised both of them as best he could, keeping them safe from the dangers of the outside world. When NIkita was stolen by Cain (One of Morning Star's followers) he trained Riot in combat while searching for the stolen cub. Time passed and as Riot became of age the two parted ways to cover more grounds Bob also believed he had heard the weaver's calling. He was to lead, but first he had to complete a journey. As for what it was or where he was to go, he had no clue. Only to start walking.
When the task was completed Bob changed his name to "Ander" to reflect the changes in his personality over the course of his journey. His long quest lead him to where the current capitol of the Earth tribe is located. There he founded the tribe's base and was further instructed to wait for Riot to return, so he may be crowned the leader (or king) of the entire Earth tribe (he would be second Arch Magus under Riot).
Ander is a thoughtful b'alam. He has a long fuse and is good about keeping his head about him in any situation (there are some buttons one should never press, but that's a given). Despite having a soft heart (especially for cubs) he is also fair. Rules are in place for a reason, however, he will always put the value of life before the necessity to follow rules.
▬▬▬ Lead Warrior (Riot’s self proclaimed bodyguard) || ◘ Nikita || [ GunSniper ] | Wife of Riot, and overseer of his protection |
Woven a Fire b’alam. Nikita is hot-headed and quick to a temper, especially when it comes to defending Riot. Though she was taken under Bob's wing as a very young cub, she was raised by Cain and Morning Star.
Most of her cubhood was spent in torment as they seasoned her to become a killer.
After being reunited with Riot she struggled with self guilt over what she had let herself become. She lost hope and stopped believing in her former mentor's lessons. These memories will never go away, however, she is better at not letting them affect her negatively.
Nikita is loyal to only one B'alam, Riot. Whatever he wishes she will do everything she can to be sure that wish is fulfilled. His cares are her's, as are his grudges. Anyone on his bad side is likely on her's as well.
▬▬▬ Culture ||
The earth tribe respects the weaver and all of the weaver’s weavings. They have a respect for nature and an understanding of balance within themselves and their surroundings. It is a strong belief that all weavings must find themselves on their own personal journey of growth before they can truly understand life, just as their arch magi had done before them before founding the tribe. Hardships are a part of life and they honor even the hardest of times as something to overcome. After their journey, each tribe member earns their “Woven” name as a symbol of their completed journey. Much like how the wind tribe has their gypsy names, however, the earth tribe does not condone anyone else knowing their true name. Because the tribe is so diverse the Earth tribe has many colonies within the tribe that live spread out across the continent. The main tribe, where all B’alam start their journey, is located in the wild planes. The main branch (where the lead arch magi lives) is located in the desert.
▬▬▬ Founding Culture [ Current Timeframe ] Rules and stories are passed down verbally by the story teller, but they are also written on the walls of caves with the paint that they love to make.
Some members are talented in storytelling, others love to hunt, and some even are skilled in farming and cultivating the earth.
▬▬▬ Developed Culture [ Future Timeframe ] As time goes on more and more tribes within the tribe will spread and expand on their own talents (ones that they formed while on their quest). Each tribe will be loyal to their arch magus even though they may not be colonized close by.

▬▬▬ Relations ||
◘◘◘ Within the Tribe ◘◘◘ There are a wide range of pelt colors that the earth tribe can take. There is no common color within the tribe. Dark, light, natural, it’s all common within the tribe.
◘◘◘ Outside of the Tribe ◘◘◘ Currently there are no enemies of the Earth Tribe aside that of Morning Star’s clan. Because of the Arch Magus’ journey and aide of the Dark Tribe’s magus, they are on close relations with the Dark Tribe.

▬▬▬ Beliefs & Traditions ||
◘◘◘ The Grand Weaver ◘◘◘ Milintica is accepted and taught throughout the entire tribe. The life woven is celebrated and Milintica is respected for it.
◘◘◘ Life and Death ◘◘◘ Both life and death are held as sacred in this tribe. Death is another journey one is to take after life.
It is a severe crime to leave the dead untended to. Murder is also a severe crime as life is highly celebrated.
Though death is honored, it is not more celebrated than life. Life is a precious thing and the Earth Tribe take pride in it.
◘◘◘ Common Name Themes ◘◘◘
◘◘◘ Gender Roles ◘◘◘ It is understood that genders are not equal here. They are not equal, but one is no more valuable than the other in any way. They are not equal because males have talents and abilities that females do not have. Likewise, females have talents and abilities that males do not have. They are two different halves to the same whole. Males are often times larger, stronger, and able to focus their minds on one task at a time. Females, in contrast, are more limber, quicker, and able to multi-task their thoughts. Both are valuable, both are needed, and both will be seen as just as important.
Gender discrimination is not part of the Earth Tribe. They celebrate the differences between the two halves of a whole. While the genders themselves are not equal in nature, they are both treated with the exact same respect. There are no tasks suited only to one gender or the other within the Earth Tribe. *Written by Thalion
