Personality:
Li is always out and about, moving around and exploring the area around her village home. She is always rather a happy go lucky girl with everything in her life. She enjoys the snow greatly! She loves the cold and how pretty everything gets. She doesn’t go too far away and she doesn’t like the idea of warm weather or deserts very much. She laughs and smiled and giggles happily at everything when she’s learning about it. There is nothing more fun then her learning something.
Adventurous-She loves to see everything, explore it all around her and to find new things. She collects something interesting from each adventure she takes. A pretty stone. A neat curling of a branch or stick. A pretty frozen flower. Animal bones or horns or fur she found while hunting or out and about just exploring. While she enjoys this she can get kind of lost doing it, and can get kind of obsessed. If she finds some place real interesting she is easily lost there for days or a week. She enjoys hunting new things in the areas she finds and loves to see the new things all around her. She is not one to do terribly stupid things while out on an adventure, she does not wish to die and make her mother suffer more then she has already. She does her best to be properly prepared for her trips with lots of rope, first aid and tools that she might need. She keeps a small knife in her pack to help protect her self from beasts and to hunt.
Tenacious- When she starts something and is in the middle of doing it or working on it she is hard to pull away from what she is involved in and she is hard to get focused on doing something else, unless there is danger involved. If she’s in danger she will get motivated right away and will do whatever is needed to fix or get out of the danger she’s involved in. She is not stupid about things that might be bad or get her hurt. She will not do anything that is dangerous but anything else she gets invested in she doesn’t do half heartedly. She loves to learn and she gets very into the learning experience of anything shes interested in.
She wont get into things that will be bad or seem to hard(For now) as she learns what she can do and what is best suited for her. She does like to challenge herself a little bit but she doesn't push the boundaries of her skills. She knows she cant climb a cliff face thats over 30' tall, she knows that she cant, and should not, venture out onto frozen lakes, she also knows when to turn back and not press her luck further then its gone so far.
Friendly- Li is not one to ignore anyone who seems in need of a friend or in need of someone to talk to. If someone wants to come exploring with her she is happy to bring them along. If she meets someone who seems down shes more than willing to sit and talk and laugh with someone to cheer them up. She doesn’t expect anyone to be someone who would mean her harm, she just wants to make everyone around her smile and be happy. She knows its because shes is hurt inside, not knowing her father who seemed wonderful and then her mother disappearing to worship the oracles that she tries to find happiness and fun with anyone around her who looks in need of it too because she knows how it hurts to be alone. She loves little kids and she loves talking to the older generations around her who might know really neat places to explore or have really fun stories to tell the little kids she talks to.
But its safe to say that in her book everyone is a friend or potential friend until they make it known that they do not wish to be friends. If she comes across someone who doesn't want to talk to her or doesn't like her for what ever reason she just smiles and thanks them and or waves and smiles and goes about her business. She knows a lot of people find her weird, like her father, and then others worry she is crazy like her mother. She doesn't care cause she just aims to show them all that she will be amazing like her father and or find a lost hidden city and give their family a better name.
She can take care of her self, she wont kill anyone and hopes she never has to and doesn't plan on crossing that line unless she is pushed beyond her limit. She knows how to fight, she picked things up on the streets and was quite the scrapper when she was a little kid. She knows when shes out numbered to just give up what ever someone is trying to take from her. If they are after her for other things, less appropriate things, she would sooner go down fighting and die then let them have their way with her. She wants love and a family but she will not be damaged goods if she can help it and will do everything in her power to keep herself safe and mentally sane so as not to experience what men might do to someone cute and innocent.

Description: She’s got typical blueish skin with the crystals of her race. The crystals are all more purple in color than any other color. Her hair is long and more purple like in color as well. She has golden eyes.

But it would have a few random braids with feathers or beads tied into the bottom hanging around randomly. She has bangs too that come to just above her eyebrows.
Clothing: CC on the under shirt, but i do want it like one of those 3/4 sleeve shirts that end about at her elbow, but she almost always has on her Scarf and a furry vest like so (This would be in a fur color relevant to the animals found in their area that they would hunt and make into clothing.) and wears long pants with pockets that she has sewn to the sides to help hold small random things into them.
Accessories: She normally has on a bracelet made of something she has collected on her trips(CC on this i don't much mind how ever you want this to look) and a necklace with some feathers or beads on it.
History: Li never met her father, he died when she was hardly a week old, out in an accident on the mountain. She heard wonderful stories about him and wished she knew him but she would never get to meet him so she just tried to be like him. And he had been the best explorer in her village since he was old enough to go out exploring.
When he died her mother lost her self. She never found another and she moved Li and all they had out to a village closer to Xi’i and settled there. When Li was old enough to fend for her self her mother spent less and less time at the house. She spent more and more time out at the edge of the mountain that the oracles live on and worships them, from afar, so that she can feel like she is closer to her lost husband. When her mother is home and in a good mood Li and her mother get a long well, they talk for hours and they lay out under the stars and talk about what Li has been doing and where she has gone. But when her mother is in one of her depressed moods she tends to get overly emotional about losing her husband and carry's on about needing to get back out to the oracles and trying to talk to him again. Thats when Li gets tired of hearing her be silly and she heads out for another adventure.
Li doesn’t believe that her mother can talk to her father that way so she just tries to be like her father was. Happy and willing to do lots of stuff like exploring things and going out and finding new stuff. Maybe meet a new animal in the mountains and nae it or something really exciting like finding a hidden lost village from the before times.
She does tend to get purposefully lost at times to keep spending time out and about on the mountains and looking for things or animals. She tries to be good about only doing that when she is on break from home duties, but sometimes she gets a good tip and gets lost. Or she finds something interesting while hunting and goes exploring into that more. She likes to get lost and find new things and she can not help that it happens so often. She thinks that it is how she can be closer to her dad.
Her mother has not come back in over a year but she sends messages with those that are passing by to her village. Shes alive still, but is trying to get to her husband, her love of her life. She doesn't write with a day or date when she might come back, and Li doesn't think she will but she writes back to her still, sometimes when shes feeling like it and misses her mother a lot. She tells her where shes been and any new things she has found. She tells her how her mothers friends are doing in the village and what other fun news might be going on in town for her to know.
She worships the minor Gods of Snow and Adventure whom she read in her dad’s journal were called Etuimo and Xufritu so she calls them that too. She found many journals when her mother stopped being around and she started to explore more of the house and the things in it on her own. She wished that she knew her father to learn more from him then she could get from his journals but know that they are what he lives on in and he is a large part of who she is so she tries to make sure she lives on for him.

I've got some questions about the personality, just in attempt to round out the character a bit :>
Adventurous:
So you focus on the exploration nature of this trait, but you don't really address the risk taking. Considering a lot of adventure means risky business and locations, how does she deal with things that seem too daunting? Is she willing to take any risk to get that thrill of adventure, or is there a line she is unwilling to cross. In terms of negative side of this trait, how does she deal with situations that get her hurt, or running into a new thing that isn't as friendly as she is? How does she deal with the obsession if it is unfulfilled? Will she keep going until she is worn thin, or does she know when to stop if she's gone too far?

I guess this answers some of the questions above haha! So this seems a bit negative, but she does have a line she is unwilling to cross - DANGER! So how does she deal with growth in terms of danger? Is she looking to develop her senses, or even striving to become stronger so she can go to those more dangerous places? And how does this tenacity cross over to her relationships with others? Is she the type to keep pushing and pushing to get her point across of discover something about a friend or stranger?

The only thing I'd like to see is how she deals with those who don't want to talk to her? How does she deal with mean people who want to take advantage of her or do her harm?

Hey there <3 Are you still looking to quest for this character? We plan on reopening in a couple of months so we can work on starting to critique her if you're still interested. Ely brough up some good points, so those questions first, and then in addition: The oracles live up on the mountain in a part that is restricted to the people of Zena so her mother visiting them wouldn't be something that would happen in Tendaji. But if you want to edit it to something else we can review it. Maybe she goes out to an old secluded temple to worship Berchi or something? And what happened to her mother? You mention her disappearing in her personality, but haven't really said anything in her history about what had happened.

That would be great i had fallen in love with the shop and was only in a month or two before it closed so i can fix up some of this and what not. I had envisioned that her mother just lived in a house at the base of the mountain. She never saw the others or anything but she would just devote her self to worshiping them from the bottom of the mountain. I can clear that up. And for her mother she just kind of stops bothering to come back to the village and lives out in the little hut shes been staying at when she worships is more or less what i was going to go with. Lixue kind of stopped paying attention since her mother more or less gave up on her and everything and focused on her adventuring. I'll spruce this up some more tonight or tomorrow <3

She looks good to me then <3 (I do want to make you aware though that since the shop is still closed there might not be a chance to obtain art of her until after the reopening, so she'll be able to RP but her timer won't start until after the art)  Journal
