I usually use The New Vegas Nexus for all my mods.
I am a big fan of the subtle mods that add more realism like project nevada and the realistic gun mods.
I am also a big fan of any mods that make characters look better and add customization options! character customization is my stuff ✝The blood is beautiful, if you think about it✝

Mmm, as I can't seem to get NV to really play on my pc without it destabilizing and crashing within 20 minutes (with stabilizing mods), all the ones I list off are from the fallout 3 nexus.
Regarding closer to the title itself, my favorite one is the pipboy readius. Finally, get rid of the annoying glove and pipboy without sacrificing its usefulness!
Right behind that are texture mods for skins, body replacers, and music overhauls. :3
The music overhauls for sure, plus mods that make some of the DLC areas look like silent hill. x3
Gun sound replacers is always a must have, and animation changes are in the works, as always.
