It was a ridiculously bright and beautiful sunny morning out on the farm. Sully had for once gotten up before noon, having been enlisted to help do some farm work.. what, work? Yes really! No one says no to Grandad! With much grumbling and complaining, he had dropped Kanika and Tobey off and headed up to the barn with Kayin. It would be a perfect opportunity for the kids to get to know each other better, Kayin had thought, and had even left a note at the warehouse that others could drop their kids off for a farm "play date" as well. "WOOOOO!!" Toby yelled excitedly, bounding down a stretch of yard to where it met a solid looking wall of corn. He LOVED being out in the open, smelling that fresh grass air, getting his little claws dirty. The warehouse was just not his scene, but this was the life! HE could blend in with city life any day but his gypsy blood sang when he had the whole open countryside ahead of him and a whole day to do nothing but explore! "C'Mon guys!" He called over his shoulder, then disappeared into the thicket of corn much taller than he. Kanika trotted along after him, both enthusiastic of the day and annoyed at the newly adopted brother taking charge. She was always the leader of every adventure before, and now Toby did whatever he wanted and naturally took charge. He had teased her all the way to the farm about not being able to sing the stupid Bingo song out loud, and he was even becoming good friends with George. HER dog friend. HER familiar. She scuffed her claws, irritated. George yapped and followed the boy, wagging and panting at his heels. It was even more annoying that she kinda really liked the boy too, when he wasn't being a stupid puppy-stealing BOY! She harumfed, not sure if she wanted to go into the corn field and look like she was following him just because he said so.

Travis breathed in the clear country tinged with a scent of corn. Sighing, he wondered what he'd done to deserve this punishment. Dropped off with a couple of other youngsters, they were here to have some fun in the country. "How can anyone have fun out here?" he asked to no one in particular.
"This place is so cool!" squeaked Piccolo. Running circles around, the bigger lad, Piccolo was excited to go on a field trip to somewhere he'd never been before. He'd have so much to tell Corsaire when he got back home. "Too bad Corsaire couldn't come. She would have loved looking for treasure out here."

The small aquatic demon smelled the air and turned up his nose. He truly felt like a fish out of water. His stubby tentacles drooped in disappointment looking at the vast dry wasteland before him. His mother, Alleria, slathered moisturizing sunscreen on him before dropping him off and stressed that he should reapply after a hour, or so, especially if he was going to be outside for very long. He clung to his red pack like his life depended on it and started to walk towards the other children.

Pho practically wiggled out of Einna's arms and tumbled head over tail in the grass before righting himself and running, hopping, and fluttering himself through the field to reach the other kids. Einna sighed and rolled her eyes before starting back to the cabin to get some much needed fishing time in.
His wings were beating as fast as he could make them in an effort to go even faster. He couldn't really do much more right now then lift himself higher up off the ground when he jumped, but whatever works! He climbed up on top of a big rolly hay thinger and then took a flying/gliding leap back down to the ground, crashing into a kid with wiggly things all over its body.

Toby bounced through the tall corn stalks, already in adventure mode. George dodged in and out of the stalks next to him, in front, and behind. The dog was crazy with excitement to be out of the warehouse. But slowing, the boy realized Kanika hadn't followed. He wondered if anyone else would come play, as he and the girl weren't off to the best start. He did like her, but couldn't help himself and picked on her. It was fun to make her angry though! He slowed and circled back to go investigate if anyone else was around the farm today, or maybe see if he could find some mischief in the least..
Kanika had been loitering along the edge of the field, debating what to do. She could follow and play, or pout, or go on her own adventure perhaps. She knew if she called George mentally he would come, but then she felt a little guilty. The dog familiar was just having fun, he wasn't abandoning her. It was hard to be ok with it but despite her pint sized outsides, she was a very old child and could be more mature about things if she chose. Sighing, she looked around, deciding to let them be. Just in time, she saw some new arrivals to the farm yard. Perking up a bit, she trotted over to circle Travis and the very small baby with him. Hellooooo... she sent them the cheerful thought. The smaller one was different, she knew, she had seen him once she thought, maybe... he was different like her she thought, and was about to say something to him when she spied the other boy that had arrived. As she was watching, a dark winged thing dove off a nearby hay roll and before she even knew what was happening it had landed smack into the new kid!

There were two things that Casnar knew. One was that he had been deposited here by his caretaker, Enana so that she could have some time to herself and two was that he wasn't the only young demon here.
He ventured forward slowly, for this was the very first time that he'd seen others of his kind other than Enana and he wasn't sure what to make of it all. What were they doing? Were they here for the same reasons he was? What if Enana never came back for him? Well, at least he wouldn't be alone. But really, what were they doing and why did they make so much noise? He couldn't have explained it, but that made him nervous, as if noise would conjure something terrible.
Still, he had to be wrong about that, for here they all were, making noise and drawing attention to themselves. What choice did he have but to learn from them? Enana wouldn't teach him these things, so his peers would. Yes, he must have been brought here to learn! That thought perked him up. Maybe he could please Enana with his knowledge.

Lucian rounded the edge of the corn field. What he seen next would make anyone scream, which he did, a dark silhouette rocketed towards him, knocking him onto his rump. "I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" He wailed with his eyes firmly shut, "DON'T EAT ME! HERE TAKE IT ALL!" He held out his red pack, still blind to the attacker. He didn't want to be here. How can this be 'fun.' Was this the legendary scaredemon? His mind raced and his breathing quickened. He needed his inhaler.

Pandora Talie omg lol I'm dying over here xD Lucian is hilarious Pho picked himself up from the ground and shook his head to clear the stars. "Woah woah woah! Chill out dude!" His eyes widened at the other demon and then he started giggling and used one claw to slowly push his little red bag thinger back at him. "I'm not gonna eat you! GROSS. I eat candy, and pizza, and cereal. Not little squiggly things!" He cocked his head at him and asked with the utmost seriousness possible, "Do YOU like pizza and cereal and candy?"

A little blue streak raced through through the cut grass. Just like the boys to leave me behind, she thought. Well, not this time. Papillon slowed her forward motion when she saw that others in the field. She thought the boys had headed out on a solitary adventure and she was tired of being left out of the fun. Well, there were plenty of others to hang out with here, she thought triumphantly. She'd have her own adventure. Without the boys.
Papillon saw another youngster with wings like herself. How exciting! she thought. Spotting Travis and Picollo by the edge of the corn rows, she noticed a girl that she remember from the Barn Dance. Papillon wondered if she lived here on the farm. Then she noticed a a blue haired boy sitting by himself. She wandered over to say hello.
"Hi there," she said as walked up to him.

The baby mini waited for Travis to reply to the girl's greeting. He was used to following Corsaire around and she always did all the talking and negotiating. When Travis took no notice of the youngster, Piccolo bounded up to her and said "Hi there! I'm Piccolo. Are you looking for treasure?" Travis rolled his eyes at the baby mini's antics. His opinion was to have left the 'baby baby' at home. The older boy grinned to himself. Corsaire hadn't liked his nickname for her sidekick.
When Piccolo's attention turned to the girl child, Travis saw his opportunity to loose the baby mini. He'd seen his brother slip into the corn field when he was arriving. Travis followed suit and left the two youngsters behind.

Toby was trotting back toward the increasing noise of not just Kanika but many other child voices. Apparently a whole pack of kids got dumped out here he though, a grin widening his face. Maybe his siblings were here. If not at least he could find some naive kids to pester or perhaps do his bidding. He had seen some great hay bales and was already concocting ideas for a fort. His mind other places, he stumbled right into his brother Travis enterig the field where he had. "HEY! - Oh! Travis! " His surprise turned to happiness that his partner in crime had arrived! "Awesome!" Kanika eyed the mini baby, then watched the older boy he was with leave. She had seen him at the barn dance, she knew that was Toby's co-conspirator. Oh great the day just gets better and better... But the small child next to her was talking to her and she looked back at him. Poor little guy seemed kinda all alone! She was pretty sure they had both just been ditched.
Oh, treasure...? She shared the thought Piccolo, as she gave it a once over. Yeah she liked the idea, she was always up for some pretend pirating!
I sure am looking for treasure! Only, the treasure is a magical dog, and some bad pirate brothers stole him! she shot a look at where Travis had gone into the field. Only the bravest good pirates can rescue the lost dog though! We need a plan! Making sure she sent the thought out in case any other kids wanted to play along, she rocked back to sit on her haunches. Maybe she could turn this day around on those boys, she though grinning mischievously at the little boy demon.

Talus moved through the grass. He was rather tired and bored at this point, not finding much to do. He glanced about, his tail swinging back and forth. What were people supposed to do here in the first place? He caught sight of another wini, a boy (Travis), in gypsy like clothing that seemed to have the same opinion he did. "That's exactly what I was thinking.." Amara tottered out, blinking at the sun as she tried to keep up with her sister. "Papillon! Don't get too far ahead.." She frowned, trying to spot the other blue colored female. But of course, she couldn't see her anywhere, so she continued to move forward, trying to find some sort of sign of life.

Frantically, Lucian tore stuff out of his bag looking for his inhaler. Triumphantly, he held it to the sky, “I have found you!” He cried and stuck it in his mouth; he took a deep breath. “Oh thank god. I thought you were a monster.” He stated, as a matter of fact. “I don’t know about pizza and serial, but I love candy.” He grinned, “Salt water taffy is the bomb!” “How do you eat serial?” He puzzled, “that’s like the numbers on stuff, right?”

Travis nearly head-butted his brother as they met in the cornfield.
"Hey Toby!" His eyes lit up at the sight of his brother. "I'm glad to see you! Anything fun to do around here?" Travis was relieved to see his partner in crime. This day might not turn out to be as boring as he thought it might have been.
When she sent the question, treasure? Piccolo thought of all the things Corsaire and he had hoarded in their airship. From shiny things to unknown doodads. "I can help you find treasure," Piccolo said excitedly. For a moment, Piccolo was confused. Magical dog? "Oh! Good pirates and bad pirates!" Pirates he understood, though his knowledge of pirates were more the steampunk airship type. "A rescue mission! I can do that!" Piccolo made tiny hops in his excitement of the pending adventure.

Casnar jumped when he realized there was someone nearby. He'd heard some yelling out of his view. Fearful yelling that had given him second thoughts about heading further onto the farm, and now there was this girl approaching him. He tilted his head at her and decided he wasn't in any danger from her.
"Hello." He replied, middle eye blinking and then the other two. Given his limited experience with others of his kind, he decided she was rather pretty, especially what was on her back. "I'm Casnar." Surely there wouldn't be anything wrong with introducing himself and his short tail wiggled as he already forgot about the yelling he'd heard and excitement about meeting someone took over. This wasn't so hard at all. "What is this place? Why are we here? What are those things on your back?" The questions just tumbled out of him.
