I've been looking into getting top surgery done for the past few years, but from what I have heard is confusing me in terms of a timeframe on when it can be done after HRT is started.
Some sources say you can have it done 6 months after you start on HRT. Others, like my hormone therapist, say 12 months.
This is really confusing, as it breaks down like this:
If I were to look into top surgery 6 months from my HRT start[I started in June of this year], it'll have me possibly getting surgery in December. However, since I work retail that barely gives me hours and I'm on-call every week, I decided to push my surgery until February.
If I were to look into top surgery a year from my HRT start, it'll have me possibly getting surgery next June.
Any ideas on what the preferred one is in terms of how long post-HRT start I can look into surgery?
