Jarias loved clubs. The heat, the beats, the dances, the ******** crazy a** bitches and dicks. She loved being that six foot bad a** at the door, and telling chicks who thought flashing their boobs would get them in no. (some of them made it past because well, they had real nice tits) or the guys who thought they could swagger in.
She was a strong body, that first and final wall before the door closes because of maximum capacity. Once it did, she roamed the tight floors, watching the drinkers, the drugged up, the tired.
Tonight was no different. The club was bustling for a tuesday night, but people wanted out. It was neon night, and they came in hoards of glowsticks, bright body paint and skimpy colorful fishnet. She fit right in, with her rainbow hair and bright neon blue shirt. Though she was a bouncer, she snuck off a bit to grind against a hot brunette on the dance floor.
The music though, was what she enjoyed the most, and she couldn't help but be enthralled by the DJ. She was pretty too. Her hair was amazing. She shifted her way from the dance floor, up to the booth. Pretty soon it would be a break time, and she planned to learn the girl's name before the night ended.
She flashed her bouncer id and headed up, standing off to the side and watching.

The thing Sidney loved most about clubs was the music, coughed in the atmosphere like a diamond in velvet. The throbbing base, the bright sparkling notes, all twinned about the flashing, roving lights and hot darkness. It was like nothing else existed on nights like this. Only the club and the bodies writhing together and the music moving inside of her chest. One arm above her head, Sid swayed and danced to the music, lost in her own little world as she changed up the beat and the top, moving digital sliders on one of the three ipads she had set up on the table on the stage. It wasn't the same as the old boards or the records, but the bits of electronics were way easier to cart around and you could read books on them later besides. Hair wild about her face, the DJ had taken advantage of the black light night to go all out on her 'costume' tonight. Purple metallic hot pants covered her small a** and hips, her slender thighs wrapped in neon green fishnets down to furry rainbow legwarmers and chunky boots. The platforms gave her a good three more inches to her high, before the wedge heels impressive six. Up top, however, she wore nothing but electrical tape and a profusion of necklaces, starting with a dog collar with a silver tag and draping progressively lower down her chest in chains and pendants that hung down the center. Her chest was not exactly impressive, but tonight all of her glowed, bare skin painted up in fantastic swirling patterns from left shoulder to right hip. Even her face was decorated, the painted mask emphasizing her eyes with not one, but three layers of false lashes and white out contacts that made her eyes appear white from one corner to the other. Bracelets slid around her thin wrists as she dropped her arms and worked the sliders, bringing the song to a close to the roar of a happy crowd. Sid grinned as she threw an arm up to wave, baring the elongated fangs she had in tonight. They worked with the contacts and the little pixie wings she wore made out of wire and black nylon. Techno butterfly indeed. Queuing up a playlist on her laptop, Sidney left the stage to head for the bar and her hard earned break, already anticipating the Long Island Danny usually had ready for her. Bartenders were awesome people to make friends with, she'd learned that early on. You could get even better than that if you slept with them, but then there was the danger of what happened if they got all clingy and jealous and oops there goes your free drinks. Necklaces bouncing against her bare chest, Sid wove between people, deflecting those who tried to stop her with a grin and a teasing comment before finally breaking into clear space and an empty path straight to the bar. White eyes caught a woman in the booths watching her, but dismissed it as either the flashy costume or someone behind her being the real target. Her own was already waiting for her on the bartop, the sides beaded and cold.

It wasn't hard to follow a DJ if someone wanted, There was only a few places they could go without going swarmed. She waited till the beat dropped and then smoothed over.
Sidney did, exactly what she thought, and headed to the bar. Jarias knew the bartender well after doing a couple of gigs, but unlike Sidney, she didn't sleep with them. She just threw them the bits she couldn't get herself.
She moved away from the booths and closer to Sid.
"Hey DJ," She waved to Danny and then smiled. "You are, the hottest DJ I've seen at the club. You new?"

Swiping her Long Island off the bar, Sid turned to find the tall blonde coming up, bright colors in her hair and a welcoming expression. The short, asian girl turned to lean against the bar, the lacquered wood cool against her bare shoulder blades. A grin stretched her pierced lips as she cradled her drink and used her free hand to twirl the straw in it. "Well, Hello, Sweetheart." She chuckled as she swept the woman a look up and down, her eyes warming with appreciation as much as could be seen past her white out contacts. Her eyebrows lifted at the compliment and she bit her lip coyly, her head tilting to the side like an inquisitive bird. "Oooo, the hottest? Flatterer. I am new, actually... Just moved here from New York and I've been hitting the scene hard ever since I arrived. I definitely haven't seen you before... I always remember the ones I want to bang in the back room." She teased as she swirled her drink and then sipped it, watching for reaction. She could make bold, bald statements too. Sometimes it was nice not to have to beat around the bush with a new potential 'friend'... she could appreciate the candor. "Do you work here too? Bartender? Musician? .... Bouncer?" Sid asked, noting the outfit. It wasn't exactly what a club bunny would wear, so it was probable this one wasn't one. And with a body that tight? Mmm... she loved Bouncers.

God bless God for making women who were gorgeous, creative and absolutely hotter then hell. Jarias was feelin' a real attraction already.
"Anytime, darling. I like the pretty ones, it's hard not to flit my way over here." She eased next to Sidney, "Kind of like honey to bee's you know." She laughed at the girl's bluntness but couldn't help the automatic perk of interest.
"I can always offer that." Her eyes dropped down to Sid's brightly colored lips and the piercings there. Wouldn't they be so fun to play with? She bet they felt amazing....
"New york isn't too far, you miss it?" She smiled, "Bouncer. I like the fights." She let her gaze wander to the dance floor, "And being my height and weight makes it easy to throw the questionable ones out." She took a long sip of her drink.
"Name's Jarias darling. What's yours?"

Sidney shifted, feeling the edge of the counter press into her back as she craddled her drink against her chest and stirred it with it's straw. She grinned as she did so and her fangs peeked out, hips wiggling a little side to side with the music. "New York is full of ghosts, that's why I left. I like it here, so far. Lots of lovely people to meet. Like lovely bouncers." She chuckled, her eyes warm with appreciation. The name was an inevitable question, and with anyone else, she'd have given the usual. The only hang up this time was that it wasn't just any little club girl she was chatting up... with half an effort she could find the name Sid had to give to the owner when she signed on. "Sidney." She said as she leaned in, making sure Jarias could hear her over the music. "Most people know me as my handle, Chou. Means butterfly." She wiggled her shoulders and the wings behind her swayed with it, sparkling with glitter. Sid's head tilted as she settled again, her half turn meaning the bar dug into her bare ribs now. There was little in the way of flesh to pad that area and after a moment she shifted again to stick her arm between. There was a restless energy to Sidney, part alcohol, part music, part whatever it was that made her up. "Are you taking a break from door guardian duty? Keeping an eye on all the little bees trying to find honey?"

Fangs to boot. Jarias wondered of Sidney's bite was just as sweet as the girl was. It was easy to look, if she was being honest. Her head dipped lower for the small asian girl, so she could hear her better.
"Ghost eh? Hopefully none of them follow you here darling. We might be the city of Destiny, but destiny is what you make it right?" She laughed at her own comment, "Sidney. Pleasure to hear your beats tonight. Oh yeah!" She snapped her fingers, "You're the new upcomer? I've heard people really dig your s**t. Think I could get a private listen sometime?" Too forward?
"Yeah." She gestured to the barkeep for another drink, before turning out to the floor. "See that one over there?" She pointed out a gangly looking kid. Lots of arm and legs and not really any moves. "He hits on the way older women, but this girl over here has been eyeing him all night..." her finger shifted to where a tightly dressed redhead was obviously looking him over, even as he danced with what Jarias would consider a cougar.
"It's entertaining. Sometimes though, I like a little honey myself you know?" She looked at Sidney. "Breaks are 15 minutes for me. I make the most of them."

The small woman laughed and smiled up into the bouncer's grey eyes. "Its true." She chuckled as she angled herself to lean closer, closing the distance between them to something more intimate. If she weren't mistaken, Jarias liked her, and more than just 'someone to chat up on a break'. Especially with her last comment. Sid's grin split wider at the request, turning downright inviting. Private listen, huh? Sounded like a lot of fun... "I'd like to think I'm an Up-and-Commer. Its always hard to climb very far without getting a lucky break, though..." Her attention wasn't on the people Jarias pointed out, though she obediently looked where she pointed. A dumb buck chasing cougars was hardly news and there were far more interesting things to put her attention on. Like a tight body and bright hair. Sid scooted closer, sipping her drink before setting on the bar with a soft thunk of glass on fake wood. "Fifteen minutes is hardly enough time to really get the job done..." She said as she pushed up onto her toes to put her lips closer to her ear, walking her fingers along the waistband of Jarias's pants. "But its a taste, maybe. Help you decide if you want to come home with me after I get done spinning for the night..." Lips pulled back from her fangs in a sly smile, eyes full of mischief. "There's a room in the back where I store my equipment." She said as she reached to brush her lips against the side of Jarias's jaw. "Do you like keyboards and amps?"

The lack of distance now was a extremely good sign for Jarias. It meant that she had in fact, conveyed her interest in Sidney, beyond a more professional pipe. Because she was, someone 'more' to chat up on break.
She was a interesting, mysterious new DJ, with ghosts from New York and colorful eyes and hair. She was looking for lucky breaks, she was rising to the top.
yes, she was somebody 'more' then just to chat up. "Depends on who does the job, and how long they've been doing it." Her eyes dropped to the lips even as she felt the fingers that brushed the waistband of her uniform.
"I like the sounds they make." Jarias pushed herself up and smiled, "Show me yours, I'll show you mind." Because the hint was enough and she had less then 10 minutes to impress Sidney now.
But goddamn, she was going to make those 10 minutes good.
