Seeing this trend quickly rise as of late, I seem to get a little annoyed at the sheer stupidity of "my fellow Americans".

Phony pacifists, and blood thirsty PETA members, and anti-War/Gun/Underwear protestors simply going about and harassing the oppsition, when, the opposition has only finished saying these:

"Republican."

Or,

"I support Bush."

Or,

"I support the war."

Usually, these people would also ask for anyone's opinion on these subjects. So on, they go and tear you up, just because you share a different viewpoint.

It seems that, most Liberals these days, wish for free speech, but only for themselves and no one else.

Of course there are bad Republicans as well, but I have not seen as many as I have seen Liberals go and tear the s**t up out of those who simply state who they are, and usually don't utter an insult.

I have friends who share some Liberal ideals, but, they do not go and attack me personally, nor do I attack them. It is simply respect for each other, which many should learn.

I also hope I am not making a repeated topic either, but I think this would be great to discuss.

~~----------------

This will also include your horror stories of dealing with Liberals who practically cussed you out, or even worse, threatened you.

This has happened to me, and by a fellow family member.

When I was younger, I was raised in a Liberal upbringing, but I still had some Conservative viewpoints regardless of my vegan/PETA Member Mom's brainwashing periods.

My Dad is also a big Conspiracy Theorist, beleive that Bush caused 9/11. THAT Liberal.

I got my own life, got married, and actually started to swing from left, to the right. I stayed right.

I was thinking on going into the National Guard, and I spoke to my Mother about it.

Mom: "No, they will inject you with drugs to fight!"

Me: "No, Mom. They don't allow that, and I am a girl."

Mom: "They don't care, you will fight in the battlefield in Iraq for Bush's oil!"

Me: "Gr."

Mom's Dumb Friend: "Go join the coast guard, you'll get eye candy!"

Me: "BUT I AM MARRIED!"

Mom's Dumb Friend: "Since when did that stop anyone?"

Me: "I am still thinking of going to the National Guard."

Mom: "If you do, I will protest in the city to bring you back home until you are back like Cindy Sheehan!"

Me: "DDDD:"

Okay. Your turn.

I had one of those just this last weekend. sweatdrop

I volunteer my saturday mornings with a local animal shelter where we bring cats to a nearby pet store and operate their in-store adoption kiosk. The day was kind of slow and I and one of the other volunteers were chatting while the third had gone to lunch. Somehow the discussion got in to comedians and from their political comedians and then from there to politics. She was rather outspoken and got on the subject of the unholy trinity for liberals: Bush, Cheney, and Rove. She is going on about how Bush is a parody of a cowboy and how Cheney and Rove are evil, and how they are religous fundamentalists trying to turn the country in to a theocracy, and how the world hates the United States because of them, and the whole nine yards which has been written in blogs and discussion forums all across the internet. By the end of the discussion she was pounding on the table...

That was quite an experience. sweatdrop

Geeeezz...

I'm sorry you had to see that. I know of people who urge Republicans just to vote for the Democrat, just because they are a Democrat.

A friend of mine goes to a very Liberal school, and she got harassed often when the elections came.

I'd pull a Ranma Cat-Fist training session on someone who'd go off like that.

Why? Because I'm always looking for an excuse to pull something like that off, but was never close to a large depo of cats when the urge arise.

i talk slow and say outrageous things that i dont mean half the time

just to see them flip their s**t

for instance

the liberal kid named crhis asked how i could support bush and his doctrines, i made fun of it and got a lot of strange looks later

"but how can you support anyone who does that"

"does what?"

"takes people out of their homes at night and arrests them and are never released"

"ohhh, i dont support that, i think they should be publicly executed"

"WHAT!"

hahahaha ohh man good times good times, my personal favorite is when my teacher said i was brainwashed

my response was "well at least my ears will be clean"

well I live in Central New York in a small suburb of Syracuse, New York. A Blue state with Flamming Liberals Running around. But Kids in my High School call me the nick name of 'Nazi'. How original right? but ever since the 2004 election (Junior at the TIme) I wore a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker. and people took it off and told me 'nice neo-nazi arm band' I would then debate with them. It was easy I usually would win they would curse and 85% percent of the time the yelled '********' Nazi' and people would point to me and go he is a ******** nazi. and the name sticks with me even until my senior year. Sucks Eh?

Wow, a Red in the middle of a crazy Blue state. They sure don't sound intelligent, calling you a nazi and swearing 85% of the time. As far as I'm concerned you should keep giving them hell.

Being that I live in a Red state, I haven't really had to deal with many liberals arguing with me. Although, the one thing that I find odd is that our local news papaer is a liberal news source. I guess most of my harassment comes from folks on Gaia. There is no limit to how amny times I will be told to "stfu."

During the last presidential election I had a prominent amount of bumperstickers and signs in the windows of my car. I was almost run over by an angry F250, who apparently not only hated bush, but was willing to physically hard anyone who supported him for Presidency. Nice huh?
