XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX❝ Rhage Wrynn ❞

- ➳ But you can also call him:
- Wrynn (Rin) works fine.
Theme Song
➳ He has been around for:
- 120 Standard Years
➳ As you can see he is a:
- Male
➳ He stands before you a:
- Remnant Kovax
( Cove-Axe)
➳ He hails from the place called:
- Eden
➳ He swings this way:
- Bisexual
➳ He is pretty good at:
- ✓ Defending himself and others, even if it means taking a beating in the process. His fighting style is composed of almost entirely defensive or restraining gestures, acting quickly and playing dirty to end bad situations as quickly as possible. He may not play 'fair' and his actions can be a little rough but he rarely uses more force than necessary, trained in basic weaponry but far more fond of using chains in battle to avoid pointless bloodshed. Guns are just for intimidation, knives make a point, but for actual combat he uses the chains or his body. Obviously his body is in pretty good shape due to daily training.
- ✓ Interpreting things in his own way; The man is rather good at twisting his orders, and even his answers, so that their meaning is quite different than they sound. Half truths and vague lies have saved him a number of headaches, it takes a tenacious soul to pry a 'clear' response from him.
- ✓ Utilizing his evolved body. Between his natural hyper-healing and his sharp senses he is a natural fighter, actually able to regenerate/reattach limbs if they are separated.. though this requires quite a bit of food and rest for a speedy recovery.
➳ But on the other hand he is bad at:
- ✗ Tolerating pointless violence or cruelty, it pricks his temper. Even in his own fights he tries to end it quickly, knocking his opponent out or restraining them in some way to keep from harming them too much.
- ✗ Staying aloof on the job, he gets emotionally involved rather easily due to his protective nature. He has been known to ignore direct orders to defend his 'contacts', well aware of life on both sides of the law and that murky grey area between right and wrong.. This man has criminal friends and lawful enemies, constantly walking the razor's edge between what is 'right' and what is 'needed'.
- ✗ Taking care of himself, often passing up food or sleep if something else demands his attention. Likewise, to defend someone else, he'll take a bullet without hesitation.
➳ You can always give him:
- ✓ Food.
- ✓ Good Company, spending time with his 'niece' Ami puts him at ease.
- ✓ A Peaceful Day.
➳ Though you can keep:
- ✗ Tears, they are a weak spot.
- ✗ Violence, especially when it puts civilians at risk.
- ✗ Death. Regardless of whom or why, it weighs on him to end another creature's life.
➳ He tends to act like:
- Wrynn is, to his very core, a guardian. He is driven by a instinctive need to protect the physical and emotional well being of those around himself.. to 'preserve the good in them' so to speak. Raised in a society rich with spiritual beliefs and honor the man is guided by a strong moral compass, one that generally.. though not always.. overlaps with the standard laws enforced by LIE and the Alliance. He is kind, patient, responsible, and remarkably strong willed. Wrynn's mind isn't overly complex, he's clever enough with street smarts and experience has given him an edge when dealing with other people but if it comes down to it he will follow his feelings rather than a 'logical' course of action. Generally slow to rile there are a few landmines that will inspire his rage; A kid being hurt or a untrained adult being knocked around will set off his temper, the male more than ready to step in and punish the offenders on the victim's behalf.
To Wrynn, kindness and manners matter a great deal when interacting with women and (young) children.. He has a soft spot of kids and likewise, despite his appearance, they always seem to take a shine to him as well. The man is just laid back and friendly enough to put others at ease, approaching life with a 'speak softly and carry a big stick' philosophy and always seeming to accept others for who they are. The man isn't self-righteous or naïve, he knows too damn well that life isn't 'black or white' but instead shades of grey.. People do what they must to survive and he isn't one to judge them for it. He doesn't do his work for the gratitude of others, it is a personal choice to do the alliance's dirty work so that others are not tainted by it. Better he, who knows the value of life and restraint, do the job rather than some inexperienced youth fresh out of training. The blood on his hands will never wash away, every drop staining his soul and weighing on his mind, but he shoulders that burden silently. It, and the nightmares that plague his sleep, are the price he pays to keep order in this unstable world. Like most of his people he believes in reincarnation, he only hopes that when the time comes for his soul to be cleansed he will still be found worthy of rebirth.
➳ So far his life has been:
- That of a Soldier, honestly. His service started as a kid, a draft policy created due to the Falling Wars long ago. His home world Eden had trouble with the 'Invaders' known as the Thresk.. The Aliens certainly hadn't been the first contact his people had with other sentient species, the Escala and Suldari having long since found and made contact with the Kovax before this incident, but unlike the other species Wrynn's people rejected the Alliance's presence when it tried to expand its reach to their home world.. It preserved their independence, yet also left them vulnerable as they later discovered. Eden is a planet of raw minerals and stunning plants, a tropical wonder with rare metals and gems in abundance due to its extreme formation eons ago.. The Thresk desired these resources, a reptilian species from a murky old world they had a nasty habit of ravaging other planets like parasites. When Eden refused their demands for submission they attacked a civilian ship.. and sent it crashing back down into Eden's capital. The death toll was beyond counting, the sheer cruelty behind the act overriding the typically rigid control of the Kovax and launching them into a 300 year war named after the event. Unfortunately, despite the relatively even amount of casualties on both sides, the Thresk's reproductive abilities quickly replaced their losses.. The Kovax species had no such luxury, their long life spans and low birth rates resulting in a very obvious disadvantage.. Finally, facing defeat, they broke their independence and reached out to the only species that could aid them. In exchange for a nearly exclusive trade agreement on their natural resources the Suldari allied with the Kovax, driving the Thresk back to their own home world.. and after some time virtually wiping the reptiles into extinction. After the war the Kovax had little choice but to join the Alliance, their population too low to risk another war, but to this day the Suldari are the only Race that can fully call on the Kovax for aid or service. It was never a matter of fear or debt towards the warrior race, instead it is bond forged in blood and war.. They respect them, and show this unshakable loyalty by providing the race with materials for their weapons and armor.
Of course they remain independent to a degree, raising their own military force and training every male to defend their home from a early age.. A rare few offered to the Alliance's task force as a sign of good faith. Wrynn was actually one such youth, scouted by his CO during training and grudgingly released by his people to become a LIE Officer. He's met a lot of people in his life, work dragging him from one end of the galaxy to the other and subjecting him to all sorts of situations.. But nothing could have prepared him for Ami. Lor, a friend from a few years back, contacted him on his death bed.. pleading with Wrynn to take his daughter under his wing. He'd tried to refuse, knowing his status as an officer would drag the kid into a tough life, but try as he might.. the moment he saw Ami by his old friend's grave Wrynn knew he had no choice in the matter. She needed him, that small little Amivi crying like her world had ended.. He couldn't abandon her.
Asking for a demotion he settled into a decent home in Bostrom, keeping his work as a local officer.. but dedicating most of his time to Ami's protection. She has taken to Singing and, unsurprisingly, people have started to take notice of her skill.. He just wants to make sure she is safe from the 'wrong' sort of attention so he handles her security himself, sticking to the girl like a shadow.. even when she isn't aware of it. She is his niece, after all.
➳ Anything else I've forgotten:
- Wrynn stands at 6'10ft tall. The markings on his skin are actually a natural feature, not tattoos, and the color is greatly influenced by his emotions. His markings are typically shades of red, thus his name 'Rhage', but if a intense feeling grips him the marks will emit a deep crimson glow. He allows Thais (Ami) to call him Rhage because they are family, to others.. he typically sticks to Wrynn. Likewise, he dislikes others referring to his precious niece as 'Thais' unless they are friends of the family.
