*note: her appearance in general is pretty much entirely up to her artist, with a few suggestions or guidelines from me.
Hairstyle and Color, long hair, straight if possible. A natural color.
Skin/fur colors, Tropical colors. Browns, oranges, blues, greens.
Eye Color, Violet.
Markings, swirls.
Racial Features. She will have neck fur, little stubby horns and her hair color is likely to be the same as her fur.
Clothing and Accessories, something to go with a "tropical theme". Example: a t-shirt or dress. Bead bracelet, etc.

Personality: Yua is kind, honest, outgoing, and rather attached to others, even those she's just met. Even if she is very caring about others, Yua can be rather manipulative and tries her best to decipher others personalities in order to get what she wants out of them. Yua isn't necessarily a sneak thief, she's proud to say she's never actually stolen anything from anyone. She'll simply barter or trade with others in order to obtain objects she'd rather own then what she currently has. She can be greedy and sometimes prone to acting without thinking of the consequences. Things like criticism or insults are like knifes and daggers to her and she isn't one to handle it well. In fact she might get angry at whoever insulted her, and hurl objects she has at hand towards them, or curl up and sob about it. I imagine as she grows that when someone is mean to her she'll be able to keep herself from getting angry at them, or at the very least avoid tossing items at their faces.
Yua spends her time collecting things primarily and trying to see if she can't swindle or manipulate those around her to get nice objects out of them. You have a cookie with a nice yummy filling? She'll tell you about how amazing and wonderful her peanut butter cookie is to try and initiate a trade. She won't be amazing and incredible in her trading skills currently, mostly due to being greedy and wanting to hoard items for herself.
She also enjoys:
- Creating new food, (baking.)
- Eating said food. She loves her sweets in particular and is a bit of hoarder of them.
- Being around others, social events.
- Research, study of the nightmare psyche and history of trades.
- Cute things. (plushies, dolls, fluffy animals)
- Physical games. (tag, jumping rope, hide and seek)
- Her favorite activity isn't really "making friends" so much as it is "making business partners". She likes getting on others good sides, especially if they have something she wants.
She doesn't like bullies or those who are mean to others. She's pretty fragile to painful words and hearing others issue them hurts a lot. If these aren't directed at her but at her friends or those she knows she is most likely to attempt ignoring it or walk away, not wanting to get hurt herself. If anyone was being threatened to be physically hurt she'd stand up for them and if worst came to worst, she'd stand and fight.
She also dislikes,
- Surprises, being spooked.
- When she makes a mistake and others notice. (being teased, laughed at)
- Food gone bad. (can't be eaten, isn't worth having)
- A trade or deal not happening.
- Promises being broken.
- A particular small hate of her's is the art of knitting, as she is not quite skilled at it in any way.
- She is also not a fan of chess.
Her life at the Academy is likely to affect how she goes about manipulating others into giving her things, or trading with her. She might grow lonely due to the fact that she primarily see others and strangers as trading partners, not friends. Although that isn't to say she won't make friends, she is highly likely to befriend at least one other person with her outgoing nature and friendliness.
She feels she fits well into her house Academy House, and loves all of her studies passionately, as they interest her. She loves learning and knowing of new information. Her most favorite and particular interest however is Psychology and the study of the nightmares minds. In fact her Psychology course will be without a doubt the one she pours the most study time into. She's motivated by her passion to learn. She is also motivated by her desire to obtain things. Nice clothing, pretty jewels, anything of value or is in better shape/better looking of something she already owns. She will also enjoy the study of Trade and trading, as that is key to personality to begin with.
If someone was to try and manipulate her back Yua wouldn't like it very much. Granted this requires she actually figures out she's being manipulated. Currently Yua would be a tad naive and might not clue into the fact that someone is trying to take advantage of her love for trades and deals. Still, she would 'play nice' and at best frown or growl at them. They aren't insulting or outright being mean to her so she has no excuse to throw a book at their face; but by the same token she's the one supposed be doing the manipulating, not them! Once she's older she might figure out a way to conquer this 'threat' to her getting nice things. For now she'll just kind of deal with it, when she notices it's happening that is.
How do they feel about their Academy House? Life specifically in her house will be fun for her. Friends and trading partners all about along with classes she enjoys. Yua might find it either as a fun challenge or a difficult task to get some of the "smarter" students to react to her bribes and accept trades with her. They might (and likely will) already know exactly what Yua wants when she approaches them which makes her job ten times harder in the long run. This will either affect her as being a good challenging trading exercise to make new business partners, or it will frustrate her to no end as she grows.
How they feel about their Race/other Races? She loves her race, and all the races. Each is unique and different and allows her to test her manipulating skills will all of them! In short, since her first impression of others is viewing them as someone she could get a nice item out, she views all nightmares as important trading partners that will should keep good relations with. She doesn't particularly favor one race over another when it comes to trading with them, although she is highly curious in the Chimera and Fallen races due to the fact that they have wings. This will be in part due to the fact that she herself doesn't possess wings, and that other nightmares don't seem to have them either. That and she's just plain curious. She won't pick favorites with races regarding trades, but if she was to talk to someone first, it would be either a Fallen or a Chimera.
She may or may not grow to target Litches for trades due to most of them being dull or somewhat slower and thus easier to manipulate. For the time being this isn't the case, although as she ages and discovers more and more about the nightmares around her this may grow to be what occurs.
How they feel about having no parents? She is alright with the idea that she has no family although has the desire to be apart of a Cartel and half believes she will be capable of starting her own. She thinks of her friends, and "trade partners" (who might consider themselves her friend even when she sees differently) as her family. She will long to be apart of a big group, and loves social events with gatherings of all she knows.
How are they like their zodiac sign? She is everything the strengths list. Accepting and trusting of others. Optimistic, Understanding, and expect for when upset she is mostly peaceful. Yua is also most of the weaknesses; Complacent, Insecure, Indecisive, and strongly dislikes choosing wrongly. She differs from her sign by being somewhat stubborn and preferring the idea of 'alliances' or 'partnerships' instead of true friends. (So although she might trust or be honest with someone, she doesn't consider herself close with them). I imagine she'll grow to be quite clever and for the time being she is impulsive, attempting to make trades and exchanges over things she just sees and wants in that moment. When things don't go her way she's somewhat aggressive towards them and prone to violence as a means of solving any verbal insults towards her.

Backstory
As a very young freshling from the Cache, she was quick to notice her lack of parents and a family. This bothered her plenty, but it wasn't going to get her spirits down! After it all, it seemed that everyone else around her also didn't have parents. So in her mind, they all were parent-less and needed to form together as their own little family. Who needs parents when you have friends? She was rather outgoing and happy, even from so little! One day she was given a rather beaten up toy one day, and realized that items were incredibly neat! Unlike bullies they didn't talk back and hurt feelings... She loved this toy, and still very much does, but another day of her early life she was given a nicer toy in addition to the one she already had. Another fleshling in her room was also given a toy, one prettier then the one she had currently. So Yua created a story, telling of how wonderful and amazing her toy was and weaving a tale that made her toy seem even cooler and better, that way she wouldn't feel jealous. Soon enough her friend, who had been listening was begging, pleading for her toy and eventually even offered her own up in exchange for Yua's. That was the moment she realized that exchanging lesser items for better ones was something she could use and take advantage of.
She is now a slightly older Freshling, and although her memory isn't as big or long as some of the older children, she still remembers that day and that toy... Particularly how bartering and trading is still benefiting her, even now.RP Prompt Response Oh no! Your Nightmare has lost something that is very dear them! What have they lost, and how do they react?
It was her most prized possession. Which said a lot considering she loved to barter and trade anything she owned for better items. This doll was in the worst condition possible. It wore a blue dress, and had stringy hair and black button eyes. It had been made with a faded green fabric, but patched up with yellow squares from having been ripped and damaged after nights of being thrown into a wall. It boasted red blotches of stains from that time she was eating berries and it got all messy. It was undeniably hers. Her precious Minty Doll. She carried it with her everywhere! Everywhere!
With a sigh Yua bent down and lifted up a cushion on a chair. She thought maybe she had abandoned poor Minty in a toy train or left it under a book. A frown mauled over her expression and tears stung her eyes when she realized it wasn't there. Or here. Or anywhere apparently?!
Yua turned around, to go back to her room and see if she had left Minty Doll on her bed, that she already checked for the millionth time today. She was stopped when she eyed the toybox in the room. Green fabric was barely able to seen from deep within the box, yet Yua was drawn to it. "Minty doll?" She squeaked, and reached her little fluffy paws in to grasp it with her claws. Pulling out the toy she smiled widely.
"Minty Doll!" Yua hugged the toy tight. Never, ever, would she lose her precious Minty again! Her thoughts were filled with what was on the menu for tonight for dinner as she dragged her doll behind on the way back to her room. Yua even began to skip and hum. She had her Minty Doll back, she wasn't lost at all!
