The girl's name was Kumiko, daughter of the late Shinzo and Chiasa Miyamoto. Her mother was a simple herbalist and medic that had quickly fallen for a Jounin in Konohagakure. The two had then married and conceived a child before, tragically, Shinzo passed away from his injuries during one mission gone awry. Chiasa spent her remaining days as a lonely widow until Kumiko's birth. She had vowed to make sure that her daughter would not see the same fate as her husband, attempting to steer her towards a path where she would be safe as a simple doctor in the village. Unfortunately, the child's interest in the shinobi lifestyle only seemed to more curious into becoming one. Eventually, her mother relented and allowed her daughter to enroll her in the academy. It was only then until Kumiko found herself skyrocket through the grades and such until she had reached Genin by the age of 10.
