He didn't want to be out, he shouldn't be out, but he also needed to be out and wanted to be out - as contradictory as it sounded. He couldn't remain inside the Jacob's home much longer, he needed to go out and patrol, and yet he wanted to curl up in a corner or behind his computer and not ever leave that spot. He still couldn't get over the kidnappings and the deaths he'd seen, even if he did understand this was war that he was involved in and that the man behind it all had been mad - absolutely mad. He understood it all but that didn't mean he had to accept it or cope with it well. He had never been good with violence but he'd been getting better. He couldn't backtrack and yet he also wanted to.

He couldn't allow himself to though. He needed to be a senshi and fight and help. Shaking his head as he strolled into the park, a hot drink clutched between his hands. This had been the internal debate since his return to Earth and he doubted it would end if he didn't just put an end to it forcefully, and suddenly. He would patrol tonight, he'd already decided it, he just...he just needed to convince himself to pull out his henshin pen and use it.

Sipping his hot drink he sighed slowly, something which seemed to take a lot out of him. Dressed in dark jeans, that were tight enough many would question what he wore under them and how he walked in them, and a thin hoodie with the sleeves covering both hands save for his finger tips. Inside one of the small front pockets of the hoodie was the question in pen, just waiting for it's owner to pull it out and put it to good use.

It had been some time since his last patrol. He was still getting the hang of things, and, truth be told, looking for trouble was not a pastime that he enjoyed all that much. He sat now, in the park, sipping at one of his own, personally made drinks. There were advantages to working in a coffee shop.

He ran one pale-skinned hand through his dark mass of hair. The silken locks falling quickly through his fingers and falling against his leather covered shoulders. It was cooler today, and the leather coat helped to keep the bite of if the air. This was one of his favorite seasons, he only wished it would last longer.

He had been out here for hours already. Watching the people come and go. He had heard about the kidnappings, the disappearances. It had had him worried. People did not just go missing in Destiny City. If someone was missing, someone that he knew to be on the side of order, it had to be the work of Chaos. Though this time was odd, so many more had gone missing. So many that he did not know, or only assumed didn't have ties to either side.
What had happened?

He looked up, seeing a young man walking through his area of the park. This one seemed down, or perhaps he was a lot like himself and just lost in thought. But as Gabriel looked at this boy, he shook his head. No, something troubles this one. the way he moves, the cautiousness of his steps. Something had him spooked, and that was never a good sign.

Gabriel rose from his seat on a nearby bench, he drawing his coat up closer around his ears. He looked like your normal college kid, sipping coffee, carrying books, but he watched the other close, hoping that he would not need to be the one to make the first move.

Ian wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings, something which he knew he shouldn't do, but he was a bit lost in his own head and as much as he knew he was prone to doing it now more than ever, he also knew he needed to get out and do things so he was out and planning to power up soon. His fingers tightened around the edges of his sleeves while he walked, his head jerking as he tried to flip his dark hair from his face, only for it to flop right back into place.

Blinking as he pulled himself away from his own thoughts he looked around rather quickly, to make sure he hadn't missed something, and that was when he spotted someone headed his way and he paused to stare at them. They didn't look like some senshi, knight or otherwise so he was safe...right?

Watching the other the teen didn't move, didn't speak, and just watched the incoming person with guarded green eyes.

The intent stare had Gabriel on edge. It was not a normal thing for humans to meet another's eyes so firmly. It was a well known reflex to lower you gaze once spotted, and this man did not do so. This was one moment that he hated knowing more about humans than most people. There were so few reasons for such eye contact, and the better of the options were less likely than the worse.

Gabriel had a moment to think of what to do next. He could force the other to interact, or he could take his chances. The calculations flashed in his eyes as he took in the other bit by bit. Lost in thought, silent yet attentive demeanor, piercing eyes, ridgid stance, this boy was not a threat, he was a deer in the headlights.

The slightest smirk danced on the young man's lips, he walling with a bit more haste as he passed by Ian, the corner of his coat and a brush of hip gently nudging the boy in a way that it seemed an accident. It was one of the more subtle ways of attracting attention, but also the best way to gauge a person's personality through reaction.

Green eyes watched as the other got closer and he finally noticed the symbols adorning the others uniform and that was when he knew - a knight. Not just a knight but one of Pluto's. He hadn't seen one before but he knew the symbols for the planets, from books, and figured it would eventually happen that he'd run into a knight from each of the planets in this system. So he didn't say anything or question the other about what he was or what planet he was from. He simply watched the other pass him by, turning slowly as the others coat brushed against his side.

As he turned he kept his eyes on the others now retreating form. "Planning on leaving?" He asked trying to keep his voice calm and even, not such an easy thing to do really. Slowly he started to follow after the other before he picked up his pace just so he could come up on the other side, than his pace dropped so he was even with the other.

He did not halt in his step, but rather slowed them until the other matched his pace. His voice was low, careful a he spoke. "It doesn't do to linger, your body grows cold and numb and then you cannot move as fast when it is needed." He knew afew things about the body, it was best to keep warm, it saved you from sore muscles later on.

He was not certain of this other, but he had noted the look the boy had given his attire. Had he recognized it? He couldn't sense anything off the other, but even be had to admit he had not gotten the hang of reading energy just yet. "Tag along if you want, I was thinking of taking things inside. Seems there isn't much action to be had tonight. Nothing but romantic couples and wandering dog walkers" he smirked as he rolled his eyes in a bemused manner.

"I don't mind lingering, even if it makes for a cold person." Cold and tired, wanting for a blanket, cold was supposed to help a person think. He also didn't want to be powered up anyway but he was forcing himself into that and than letting himself space out, sort of, at least he was out and powered up - right?

Glad for the others slowed pace he shrugged. "Seems a peaceful enough night. We'll have to power down to go inside somewhere, it would be too odd to walk in like this." nope, it would get the police called at the very lead. At the most someone, or a few people, at the wherever they went would be into the Negaverse and would power up. he wasn't up for a fight, even if he would fight.

"Where do you have in mind?"

He took note that the other had said powered, perhaps his senses were still off, he could not read the difference and that had him worried. He shook his head, breathing deep as he let that minor thought escape his mind. It mattered not, this one was an ally, or so it seemed. "I do not think we would go where there are others. There is a covered canopy not far off. Though it is silent now, I have a feeling that this have been abit too quiet. There is a heaviness in the air, and I feel ill at ease."

He turned toward the large, white structure in the distance, he motioning with his head to the other. "Follow or meet me there. You can see the whole of Tyr park from that location. It is also off the beaten path. Might need to scare afew couples out if it though." He winked playfully, his pale eyes catching the light. He was mischievous, but it was all in good fun.

"Five minutes, be there or be square" He took off, taking the left side of the park add his route. He would survey the area on foot first before resigning himself one more to watching the romantic twits wander by.

"Are you new? To being a knight?" he questioned while glancing the other over. Something about him had Chaldene thinking he was new, he wasn't sure what but the thought was there. "You'll learn, if you haven't yet, any events held - big ones...something happens. Also, random things happen that have nothing to do with big events. Still or not there is a tense feeling in the air, at least for us I think." At least for himself and perhaps for others who had been through anything big, or been at this long enough - too long. What would happen to them all if, when he corrected himself mentally, this war ended. Who would help them all pick up the mental, and physical, pieces? They would all have their share of scars, physically and otherwise, and they'd need help but where from? when would they be able to walk around and not look over their shoulders, wake from nightmares, and other things? Would there ever be a time? Ever since his return he had wondered about this from time to time, only to shove the thoughts away whenever he they started up.

Nodding his head he separated from the other and powering down he decided to make his approach once he was in his civilian clothing. Approaching the structure, ignoring the other people there, he took his time as he waited to see if someone approached as well and what they looked like, would it be the other? Would they be powered up or not...

What he wasn't expecting was as he was getting closer he saw something, he couldn't feel it, but he saw a shadow moving across the ground that had no living thing which gave it life or movement. In fact it seemed to leap off the ground and take up a standing posistion as if it were a living thing made of shadows - youma! Cursing to himself he ducked behind a tree to power back up, this was just great. This wasn't how he'd planned on his evening going.

At first Gabriel was not certain if he should be amused or insulted by the other's words. Was he new? New enough! That did not automatically make him naive. He had read many an account of strange goings on at gatherings and the like. It always seemed as if someone, or someones got in the way. Chaos, all of it, and that alone kept him on edge as he moved through the park.

Unlike the other, he did not bother with the notion of powering down. In his coat he looked normal enough, but as he noted the swaying of dark shadows in the distance, Gabriel, no Nirvana, tossed aside the leather covering and made haste in the direction of the gazebo.

There were fallen couples along his path, each of hand in hand. It was a chilling sight, as if the creature's had drained them even as they found comfort in eachothers arms. Nirvana might have been abit bitter about love, or at least cynical, but to see the happiness of others tossed aside like a garbage bag, was more than he could handle.

With an agile leap he cleared the distance between himself and the pale, white, fencing of the structure. He perched there, not so unlike a bat, and watched the growing darkness before him. "Daring, I will give you that. Had you not moved I think we would have missed you"

Stepping out from behind the tree he'd powered up behind he tilted his head at the knight and the youma. "I really hope you can fight or your magic is offensive. My magic doesn't do damage." At least it didn't do damage on it's own, damage could be a side effect though. It did have people, or youma in this case, wandering about after blinking lights so they might run into things and get hurt.

Moving toward the youma, and the knight, he bent to scoop up a rock which he threw at the youma first, wanting to grab it's attention. "Looks like this youma's been rather busy tonight." Judging by all the people unconscious on the ground.

This was why they had to fight youma, this was why they had to fight chaos. He wasn't the sort for hand holding romance and all that kind of s**t but he would protect others right to this mushy crap, let them suffer relationships as much as they wanted. He'd protect their choices.

His pale, blue, eyes flashed in the direction of his comrade. It was not always the best thing to give away ones faults, and he sure as hell was not about to let this youma know that he had little to no magic of his own.

He tossed his hang out to one side, the golden chain and shining pocket watch appearing from his fingertips, only to slow down between his fingers like a serpent. He grinned to the other "This will be little to no challenge for the two of us." Provided this single youma did not have some friends, or abilities that they didn't know of.

His hand went, but for only a minute, to his arm. The sensory memory of his first battle wound making it throb. He cursed himself under his breath before turning hid eyes to the creature before them, surprisedo to see that it had vanished. "Damn! Track it! It couldn't have gone too far!"

He moved to the location that the offensive creature had been, using hid long legs and agile firm to climb the gazebo and look out over the area.

"It's fast." He said stating the obvious to the knight. "Once we close in on it I'll attack and then you can finish it. I'll be able to keep it from running but not for long." His magic would distract it enough that it wouldn't run off...but it would wander. "It won't be immobile, it'll wander similar to a drunk." best way to describe how the youma would likely appear once his magic took hold.

First though they needed to find it and he took off following after the knight. "I hate chasing things down." He'd rather they at least stayed and fought if he had to fight at all it was easier that way. Why did it need to run?

Nirvana could only blink, as the other came to join him in the same location. He needs eyes on the ground as well, but he supposed a second set in the air was just as well.

He Let his eyes dart around the area, trying to pick up on any sudden movement. Not seeing any at first, he turned to face the other direction, looking up toward the water and the trees nearby.

It was then that he noticed another couple near the lake, the darkness of chaos around them. He cursed and made motion to Chaldene to follow him as he leaped from the gazebo to the ground and took off the short distance it would take to close on the creature. "Stun it! I will take to the trees and attack from above!"

He did not wait to see if the other understood the orders, rather he did as he had said. He reached the edge of the trees, leaping into the branches and darting closer to the beast before him. He wanted to get to it before it fully drained the couple. Hopefully he could do so in time.

As they spotted the youma headed for another group of people, this time an unsuspecting couple, he followed the other and moved past the other. Moving out of the hiding spot, he needed to be closer to use his magic on it, once within range his hands came up in a gun like fashion as he blew across what would have been the muzzle. Whispering out his super attack. "Chaldene Wisp's Secret." And watched as the glittery blue magic headed for the youma.

Watching as the youma seemed to lose it's focus, on the civilians, and turn it's attention to empty space and try and follow it or catch something. "Go for it, my magics worked." He said calling out to the other. Thankfully it worked and he knew when it did, he could easily tell when it worked.

"I don't stun things, I confuse them. They see little orbs of light that vanish and reappear - they play peek a boo with the person." He explained.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaldene Wisp's Secret.
This attack would go the same as above only this time the attack would last thirty seconds each time it's used and could now be used three times per battle. The significant difference however is that this time a person isn't simply distracted by the wisps appearing and vanishing only to reappear. But they are compelled, by magic and whispered words of encouragement, to look toward the wisps.

The same things can break the spell as before only now when the spell is broken the opponent would feel slightly confused and perhaps even a little disoriented.
