He hollered, running off after her. Dionysus lunged for her, wrapping his arms around her middle to keep her from getting away. "You're not a corrupt, so I know you can't teleport anymore. Stop ******** running away Persephone!"
We both looked for you because we were worried about you. You were part of our family, whether you thought so or not." Dionysus continued. "You're gonna stay and ******** fight for once damn it!"

Damn it -- she had just wanted to leave, to make this stop and stop having to fight with him, but obviously he had other ideas. He was making a good go at catching up with her, too, and she hadn't shifted from walking to running quick enough - so when he grabbed her, she went down, swearing all the way and just barely catching herself on her forearms before her face contacted the ground.
"Just let me leave! I don't want to fight you!" That she couldn't was a secondary issue - she was not built for combat in any way, physical or magical. Tiny pudgy girls with healing spells were not meant for fighting.

"No god damn it. Stay and ******** fight for once. Why the <********> not Persephone? When the ******** have you ever fought for something?!" Why did it seem like she was always running away. "Call your damn princess then. Just ******** do SOMETHING!" He yelled. "Anything but ******** run away like you always do." Dionysus was so fed up and so tired of everything, that he grabbed a fist full of green hair and pulled.
A childish notion, but it worked.

Persephone yelped when Dionysus grabbed her hair and yanked, and she elbowed backwards desperately and angrily. "I did fight!" She snapped. It wasn't all there, just bits, but it was enough. It was enough to know she had failed terribly.
"I fought that night in the warehouse, and I lost, and it wasn't me who die for it!" She twisted under him to try and get in a better position to push him off - painful when he still had a hand in her hair, but she could deal with pain.
"I should have died that night! But that's what happens when I fight - I get people killed!"

Dionysus hissed when the elbow connected with his chest. "It didn't ******** look like it!" He released her hair, shoving her head down as he got up. "ONE NIGHT. You fought ONCE. You lost and you ran off and THEN what Seph. You didn't try again. Because you lost ONCE you thought you weren't worth something here. That you couldn't POSSIBLY count in someway on this side because you thought you couldn't fight in someway. I'm a ******** KID and I'm doing more then that. I've had to do things I didn't want to because of what YOU thought had to happen."
"Maybe so." He snapped suddenly. "You wanna talk about shitty magic? Fine. Here's mine." Dionysus growled out. "Grape Bomb." Three small objects that looked like bang snaps appeared in Dionysus' hand. "I basically throw noise makers Seph." The teen picked on up and hurled it at her to prove the point. "They don't do much, if they actually connect with people. Minor bruising or scrapes. I get three of them at a clip, and I can do this two more times before I'm ******** over. How the ******** am I suppose to protect myself with these? How am I suppose to protect others?" It probably made no sense to tell her but whatever. "I can't. But oh no, that must mean I hafta corrupt now huh? Maybe I'll get something with the Dark Mirrors or the ******** Negaverse that I didn't here. Tch." Dionysus threw another one at her.
"So if all you seem to do is get people killed, then kill me. Prove me wrong Seph. Show me that you can do something more then just run away like a coward."

Perse rolled over as soon as he let go of her hair, and lay there on the ground, panting heavily and staring up at him with wide, panicked eyes. She had failed him on a fundamental level, and that was obvious, and he was so, so angry at her.
Would he try and harm her? That seemed entirely possible. The little grape bomb popped next to her arm, and she bit her lip, because it hurt - would probably leave a nasty bruise, too, but who was she to complain about a little pain? She could suffer through this. She was prepared for him to throw the other two, but he didn't, he just kept talking, and she sank further into the ground. If he had seemed more open, maybe she might have tried to sell him on the Court, but even she could tell this wasn't the time.
She shook her head, though, at his little challenge. "I won't hurt you. I won't kill you. I don't kill people, I get them killed. I'm a danger to everyone around me, but not because I want to hurt them. I'm exactly as weak and cowardly as you think I am." She pushed herself partway off the ground,leaning back on her elbows. "But maybe you should protect everyone who I'll come into contact with later, yourself and Aludra. Maybe you should kill me right now. Take revenge for Biela."

Dionysus rolled his eyes. "Fine then, I'll rephrase my earlier statement. Get me killed. Go on, do it. Call your fabled Princess or General Sovereign or whatever it is you decide to follow." The blonde senshi threw his hands up in the air, the last bomb in his batch flying off into the distance somewhere. "Go on, I'll even make it easy for you and I won't run away. Why make you do more 'work' right?" He twirled on the spot as if to show himself off to the world.
"If you get them killed by association, then why do you continue to jump from group to group Seph. You're putting more people at risk by doing that aren't you??" Dionysus' eyes narrowed when the senshi spoke of Aludra. "I am protecting her. I'm protecting her because of you. I'm protecting her from what we saw. I'm protecting her from you."Biela put up more of a ******** fight then you ever did."

Persephone slowly pushed herself up off the ground, and into a kneeling position, brushing her hands on her skirt. The bruise from his magic stood prominent on her arm, bright purple against the red of her collar and the black of her glove.
"No." She said, and then she stood up the rest of the way, and crossed her arms in front of her. "I won't. If I call Leto, it will be because I'm asking her to bring you into the Mirror. Is that what you want, Dionysus? We can offer you a home. You and Aludra, and you wouldn't lose any memories, mine only went because I had to purify first. You would still be yourself."
Not that there might be other things he feared giving up.
She spread her arms wide. "Biela was brave. I'm not. But I can offer you safety - protection not from me, but from the rest of the Court. You said we were a family, Dionysus. We could be again."

"Do you ever do anything that others ask of you? Probably not huh? Maybe it's a good thing you left the Negaverse. I heard they don't really like slackers... How the hell you lasted there that long is a ******** mystery." The blonde rolled his eyes with a snear as he crossed his arms.
"If you call you princess, I want it to be because you're following a god damn order for once. I don't want your damn court. I don't want your piss a** excuse for a 'family'. I have one and I won't abandon it, unlike you. How many people did you ******** over switching sides so many times Seph? I'm ******** glad I never learned your name in the end. This just makes it so much easier to forget everything."
"You'll stay the ******** away from Aludra if you know what's good for you Persephone. You'll stay the ******** away from us all. If I find out you've been near her, you'll live to regret it." He hissed suddenly. "You may not be part of the Negaverse anymore, but you're still Chaos. It just means that we still can't trust you like we use to. Your damned court and it's princess don't scare me."
"We were a family Seph. Past tense. There is no more 'could be'. I'm done with you. So you can go run away with your tail between your legs now."

Her arms dropped to her sides, and her shoulders slumped. Of course he rejected her, she had known he would, but she would never have forgiven herself if she hadn't asked at all. Some part of her still held out hope that he would change his mind someday - that they all would - and she would have them by her side without Metallia's control on any of them.
"I won't look for her, or you, again," she promised, and then she turned. "But if the others seek me out, I'll let them find me. It would be wrong of me to hide away."
She was quicker on her feet this time, darting back between the trees and then through the mirror she had come from.
