When the villager handed her the tin to get her bait, she saw absolutely nothing. Upon pointing that out, the villager laughed, muttered something about having already eaten it silly them. O...kay then.

Then again, after receiving the ear of a treat, which the villager was happy to note for her specifically, maybe getting nothing was better.
