It seemed there was still a little more work to be done. Sheesh, the villagers and their egg obsession...Had they not had a salad or something? Pumpkin cider? Jackdamn, she wanted to steal some now...Her days away from Amity had turned Piper into a restless rebel, and after a few fall ins with what some might call the wrong crowd, she might or might not have picked up a few traits as a result. But that was neither here nor there or...wherever this place really was. She had an egg to deliver to the highest hill of the tallest mountain and jackdamnit that sounded like the cheesiest fairy tale she had ever heard. Then again, she WAS a queen.
Clutching her Severn egg close, Piper began her adventure up this overgrown molehill with great determination. The last one had been a breeze; maybe she was getting better at this? She kept a sharp eye out in case any more sand crabs decided to harry her steps.
And in doing so, the ghoul failed to notice the real rock that was in her way. With a small yelp she tripped, and a shot of fear hit her. Her egg was going to crack not two minutes into this stupid trip! No! Hastily she concentrated her Fear and blew a small gust at the ground, managing to turn midair to add additional protection for her charge. If she broke this thing now, it would ruin her record...or combo if you will.
Luckily the wyvern egg was a lot sturdier than the her herbivore egg and merely bumped against her chest. Her back, however, was not so nicely cushioned, and the ghoul winces as she felt the rough terrain dig in against her skin.
"The thing we do for...unhatched animals apparently," she grumbled as she pushed herself back up.

After a length of time and a lot of watching where she was going, Piper eventually got to where she was needed to be. Or at least it looked right: a giant snake was coiled up near a nest of giant eggs, seeming asleep. Maybe? She couldn't tell if its eyes were open or not from the angle she was in at the moment. Birds were her forte, not slimy scaly things.
Grimacing, she began to tip toe her way towards the nest as quietly as she could. Note to self: consider taking that stealth class when you get back. Piper was a loud and proud ghoul, so being quiet and sneaky wasn't her style at all. Worse, every time the snake so much as flicked its tongue out, she froze in fear. Good thing nobody was watching her, huh?
With some difficulty she managed to swap out one of the giant snake eggs for her wyvern one. Frankly, she didn't get what the point was of switching them when this would have been a great deal easier just sneaking in and out with only one egg to worry about, but whatever. She had her prize, and now it was time to quietly hustle the hell away from the thing before it caught sight of her less than ninja-like bright hair.

On the way back down she noted she was being followed. Sighing up a storm, Piper tried her best to outrun the things stalking her, but eventually she realized that not only were they keeping up with her, they were trying to herd her a specific way. "Oh no you don't..."
With some trouble, she heaved her jug up and blasted one of the raptors in the face with a strong bush of water that knocked it flat down. Its partner seemed less intent on pursuing with that display of strength, and it stopped following her with a small shriek. Adorable.
"Jack, this is why I'm gonna hire someone else to do this crap..."

And then after that flawless victory came the plunge. Piper stared over the edge of the waterfall and whined loudly. "Is this for real??" And it was.
Ugh.
Worriedly pulling the egg close, she tipped over the edge and braced herself for the harsh impact below. The splash disoriented her and she felt the egg jerk from her grasp. Panicked, she righted herself and quickly dove after it, thankfully grabbing it before it hit the rocks at the bottom. The current pulled her mercilessly forward, but Piper managed to drag herself to the shallows after several near drowning moments.
Soggy and tired and beyond done, she rolled over and passed off her egg to whoever was closest, victorious.
