- It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some eggs. Some untainted, un-miasma fused precious wyvern eggs from an exotic wyvern couple that sadly passed away. You must scale a very high mountain in order to get these eggs.
- Your character is dropped off at the base of the mountain. The goal is to climb the mountain and get the egg. To scale the mountain, you must write a jaunty 250 word post of your character scaling the mountain. You can do this as you please, there are plenty of angry nesting minipets, boulders, and possibly giant serpents blocking your way. As you reach the top, obtain the egg, and you are ready to begin your descent.
- Every single creature possible, especially rolling sand lobsters, will try to destroy your egg. Roll 1d4 four times and match your dice roll to the prompt below to reach the bottom of the mountain. Yes, repeats do happen if you roll a repeat. Your egg has 10 HP. If you make it down without the egg reaching 0 HP (breaking) you made it!
1) A sand lobster rolls right into your egg and nearly breaks it! -2 HP 2) Strange velociraptor minipets are hungrily staring at your egg. They try to attack it! -1 HP 3) A giant snake smacks you with its giant tail. Ouch! -3 HP 4) Nothing happens. You were lucky!
gaia_star If you successfully get an egg to safety, you get herbivore egg. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

She was not dressed for this.
Serafina, with a frown on her face, glanced up towards the top of the tall mountain that was currently daunting her. She didn't like climbing, but she could blink, so this would be okay, right? Still, it was a lot of physical exertion, and it wasn't necessarily that Serafina was lazy, she just wasn't particularly good at it and, honestly, just didn't enjoy it. She would rather walk, not run, and maybe blink instead of jump.
It was about the same thing, right?
Still, the villagers seemed rather insistent that she should collect them some eggs. Serafina was not entirely sure why this was necessary, and why they couldn't just do this herself or find one of these stranded people that were more willing, but there she was. Climbing. Or blinking up. She guessed.
Even with using her blinking, this was not exactly an easy trip up. There were a lot of things that seemed interested in finding out what a ghost ghoul tasted like as a snack, like the angry serpents that kept blocking her path. She had no interest in being eaten, and as quickly as she could get herself to move, Serafina blinked away and up from everything she had spotted. Why were mountains so treacherous? This was torment!
It was quite likely Serafina was exaggerating a little, because she was definitely still in one piece when she reached the top of the mountain. Still, she was a little worse for wear, and her hair was no longer properly tamed. If she had known she would be going on adventure today...

At least the egg at the top of the mount was easy to find.
Okay, so all she had to do now was get back down the mountain with the egg, right? That couldn't be too hard, right? Serafina internally winced. She knew it would be difficult. It was hard enough to get up here.
Still, the ghoul had little choice in the matter. She was already up here. It wasn't like she could just blink back to the bottom of the mountain instantaneously. She was not capable of such a distance, and Serafina knew it. As much as she didn't want to. She didn't like the idea of going back near those angry snakes again.
Stop delaying, Serafina! Be brave.
That was what she tried to tell herself, at least, as she started making her way back down the mountain. It was unfortunate that bravery was quickly shattered by the sound of a loud crack, and Serafina looked over, alarmed to find a sand lobster had already rolled into her egg. "Stay away!"
Her swatting and quick blinking away were probably not very intimidating.

Well, at least the sand lobster was not a giant snake, right?
That was what the optimistic type would have thought. Unfortunately for Serafina, today was not optimism's day to shine. As she nervously blinked forward, attempting to get away from every creature as quickly as possible, she quickly found herself blocked by a giant snake. A giant snake which stared quite angrily into her eyes, of course.
The screech Serafina made was embarrassing to even herself, and she looked around to confirm that there was, indeed, no one else there but her. That confirmation was a relief, but it was not such a relief to find that her egg had been damaged by the impact the snake had made as it had whipped its tail around.
This was not promising. Serafina needed to move a bit faster, before she would have to go back up and retrieve another egg!

Thankfully for Serafina, her new methodology seemed much more effective. On her next leg of the journey, she was left relatively alone by all the creatures, or perhaps they just hadn't had time to really notice Serafina before she was onto the next ledge.
That worked well enough for her.

After a relatively uneventful rest of her trip, the relieved Serafina walked over to the villagers who had told her to go get the egg and presented it to them.
"No, you can keep it!"
Serafina blinked.
"... What?"
"You keep!"
She looked down at the egg, looked up at the villagers, sighed, and walked away.
