Balloon riding? Well that would be a first for the ghoul. She had never actually ridden in any type of balloon riding contraption. Honestly, the highest she had ever really gotten was not of her own free will. Climbing mountains and all that junk. But that was with something solid beneath your feet.

The thought of being up so high didn't scare her. No, not in the least. It actually gave her a slight adrenaline rush to think about soaring up so high in the clouds. Seeing all the people milling about like ants on the ground. She could probably drop a silver seed if she wanted to see it if would bury itself into the ground from the force of gravity dragging it down to the earth below.

So many things could be done.

But she needed to build her flying contraption first. What materials that were supplied for this endeavor were not what she would call all that aerodynamic. In fact, many of them seemed like things you would not even think to use for something to get you off the ground. So she went with the most logical and least less likely.

Grabbing a piece of cloth and some rope, Meixiang began to tie all four corners together to make some kind of parachute type thing. She was no engineer so she had to use what imagination she had and logical thinking too. If she could catch a good breeze from a decent height she could most likely get air born.

Once her thingy was ready Meixiang moved to a rather tall hill. There was a breeze going so that made it good weather to attempt this. Here was hoping she wouldn't fall flat and land in a heap at the bottom of the hill.

"One....two...threeeeee!" She jumped off the top of the hill, letting the breeze catch her piece of cloth and soon she was being rapidly lifted into the air. The ground beneath her feet getting further and further away. This was so amazing! Meixiang couldn't help but laugh and swing her feet back and forth.

As she went higher and higher into the misty sky Meixiang could get a better bird's eye view of the village. Oddly enough it was in the shape of an 's'. That was certainly an odd configuration for a town to follow. She wondered if there was any significance to it. She could make out just about every building from this height. Even with all the mist obstructing a really clear and detailed view it was not hard to see at all. She could even see dark little shapes moving around on the ground. Probably the villagers and other creeple who had come on the bus moving around.

But it didn't take long for the breeze she had caught to being to wind down. Meixiang began to float slowly down to the ground. A little dissapointed that her ride was pretty much over. Though she could probably come back and do it again at some point. She hoped at least.

As her feet touched the ground the rope and cloth that held her in the sky went slack. Falling to the ground in a heap behind her. So much for a nice breezy ride. The landing was just a bit rough but for the most part at least she hadn't fallen flat on her face when coming back down. That would have been embarrassing. Even more so if someone had seen her do it. And even more so than that if someone she knew or kind of knew saw her do it.

She wouldn't be able to live it down. For maybe like a week or so.
