And so it was, around a hour later, after cleaning up, getting her wounds tended, and getting a new towel, the Dormouse ghoul would be found marching determinedly back into the forest!
She was determined to beat this Basilisk now!
This time, she asked for a longer towel and pinned it more securely with her Skullpin. Confident that she wouldn't be thrown in the buff again, Camilla had declared she'd try again! When she finally reaches the spot from before, she'd find the Basilisk coiled up waiting for her.
It had taken the chance to rest up too and was primed and ready to go again. It was also ready to laugh at her some more... "Oh shush you!" she yells in a rare show of annoyance before taking a breath to focus and sliding into her battle pose. Seeing as she was ready to go, the serpent slides out of it's coiled position and into it's striking pose.
At first, neither party moved. Till suddenly, the serpent lashes out at Camilla! Deftly, she dodges most of it's strike but does get nicked on the shoulder! The fang came dangerously close to catching her towel and the momentary distraction of worry caused Camilla to miss her chance to strike!
Pouting a bit to herself at her miss as she moves out of range, Camilla checks the towel real fast before quickly getting ready to strike again!

This time, Camilla was the one to strike first! Without waiting for the Basilisk to get prepared, Camilla dashes at the huge serpent!
Upon reaching it's legs, she couches down and uses her leg to sweep the Basilisk's out from under it! Unfortunately, she hadn't thought very far ahead... She had positioned herself under the Basilisk when she attacked it and now said serpent was falling right towards her! "Eep!" she squeaks as she lunges to try and get out of the way!
Fortunately, she avoids the majority of the Basilisk! Unfortunately, it catches slightly her with it's claws along her back as it falls!
Basilisk's Hp: 26/30

Before Camilla could even get up, the Basilisk twists around from it's fallen position and chomps on the tip of her tail! "Eek! Owie! Let go!" she yelps before kicking out hard with her feet!
The Basilisk hisses angrily as her foot connects soundly with it's jaw! Quickly, both mouse and serpent scramble to get up right before the other could attack!

Camilla fortunately was first to her feet! Without even thinking, she whirls around and lunges forwards to round house kick the Basilisk's leg causing it to crash to the ground again!
However, before she could even move to get some distance, the Basilisk spitefully lunges at her and grabs her towel! In the blink of a eye, The towel was ripped off and flung in the air!
Mercifully, Camilla catches her pin before it goes flying jack knows where! Unfortunately, the moment she realizes she was in the buff again she freezes up! This gave the serpent ample time to rear up and head butt her sending her back hard against a tree! "Oof! H-hey! That's not fair!" she chokes out as the breath was partly knocked from her!
While still reeling from the hit, Camilla tries to cover herself as much as possible before pouting at the Basilisk... Which was now laughing at her again... "Hisss sss sss ssssss!" it laughs which causes her to puff up her cheeks in annoyance! "I'm not going to give up!" she shouts determinedly before pushing up off the tree and dashing away as the sounds of snake laughter echo through the fog!
