As the Dormouse ghoul walked along in the deep fog, more then half naked and with nothing but a towel to cover her, she wondered just how she had gotten into this position...
The fishing hadn't been as relaxing as she'd hoped and in truth Camilla found herself more wound up then before... She hated this paranoid, high strung, aggressive feeling that kept lingering in her head and tightening her chest... She didn't get where exactly it came from... But she was starting to worry it was the fog itself some how... Though other creeple seemed fine...
It was in her wandering musings after having sold her fish that Camilla would encounter a worried villager. "Oh! Miss! Hello! Miss! I-I need some help if you would!" a cloaked man shouts as he runs up to her! Startled briefly by the loudness and his sudden approach, Camilla uncharacteristicly gives the man a cautious look. The unnatural paranoia that ran through her said he might be after her egg! However, the more logical friendly part of Camilla soon overrid the unnatural paranoid and she smiles at him.
It would be then that the Dormouse ghoul would learn a valuable lesson... Never agree to do something before you know what it is... Needless to say, while she wasn't bothered by the idea of fighting a giant Basilisk minipet, she was exceedingly surprised and embarrassed to find she had to fight it... With nothing but a towel on... "W-wait!? What!?" she exclaims as her face begins to flush! It was explained that having lots of clothes on further agitated the insain giant minipet... It would be unbeatable if she wore more then a towel!
Sighing in deep embarrassment, the Dormouse ghoul frowns in resignation... She didn't like the idea of killing a minipet, especially not something as rare as a giant minipet. but, she couldn't deny that a vicious, insane, giant basilisk minipet was likely dangerous and it had to be dealt with... Plus, she also said she would fight it already... Not wanting to go back on her word, Camilla finally accepts the towel that was handed to her before finding a nearby bush to change behind... When she came out, she was in nothing but the towel which was wrapped tightly around her middle and pinned at the top with her skull pin...
As Camilla remembered what brought her to this point, she resolved to listen to the task first THEN agree or disagree! Finally, the prickle of a predatory glare caused the hair on her neck to stand on end! Quickly, she whirls around to find a single huge red eye glaring menacingly at her through the fog! The telltale serpentine shaped shadow around the eye told her she'd found her mark... Or it found her... "Oh dear..." she mutters to herself as a menacing hiss echos suddenly through the fog!
Swiftly, she lunges to the side as the serpentine shadow bursts through the fog and snaps at her with it's huge fangs! She winces a bit as one of said fangs nicks her ankle in passing! Still, it was a minor wound and she quickly gets to her feet before staring in awe at the huge now revealed minipet! It grins malevolently at her as it spots her in her towel! Somehow, this causes Camilla to feel embarrassed which throws off the punch she was throwing at the Minipet! She barely grazes one of it's arms with the strike and quickly backs off to make sure her towel was in place...
This causes the snake to hiss laugh at her which in turn causes the now fixed blush on her face to deepen further...

Eventually, as the Basilisk continues to laugh, Camilla shakes her head and clasps her face in both hands before taking a deep calming breath... As she finally gets the embarrassment and her blush to go down, she takes another deep breath before relaxing... "Ok Camilla, it's just me and the basilisk... There's nobody out here to see me..." she says to herself reassuringly. Oh if her mom could see her like this... The thought very nearly had her blushing again!
Fortunately, she keeps it together and forces the blush away before taking a proper martial arts battle pose. In the time since the Red Mist event, Camilla had been taking a martial arts class. She wanted to not only learn how to fight better, but to learn how to find her center in intense situations so she could keep her senses better. She never wanted to go insane with wrath again if she could help it... She had intended to take martial arts classes for a while, she just never had enough incentive until now.
And it was now that she was going to put those classes to good use! With fists clenched, the Dormouse ghoul waits for the giant Basilisk to make it's move. Seeing as how it's prey was no longer flustered, the Basilisk stops laughing to glare hungrily at her. Playtime was over it seemed! For a long moment, both mouse and serpent remain motionless... Till suddenly, both lunge forwards at the same time!
She winces as the snake nicks her shoulder with one of it's fangs when it strikes at her, but was glad the attack otherwise misses her! Camilla on the other hand did not miss! Quickly, she darts in close and delivers a hard punch to the Basilisk's soft underbelly! Angrily the snake rears back in pain before slinking away from her to get distance!

Pleased with her strike, Camilla smiles playfully at the Basilisk as she takes a few steps back before punching the air excitedly! "Heh! Take that!" she laughs which causes the snake to hiss menacingly at her!
Because the Dormouse ghoul was so excited that she got the upper hand on the minipet, she didn't notice said Basilisk sneaking around behind her until she realized she heard hissing and it wasn't infront of her! "Huh!? Eep!" she squeaks as she feels hot breath on her back! Instinctively, she leaps to the side, and just in time too! A mouth full of fangs comes barreling out of the fog behind her moments after she jumps! The fangs nick her caff but fortunately otherwise miss her!
Still, it took her a moment to get back to her feet and it left her no time to attack... "Oh dear... I better be more carefully..." she mumbles to herself with a frown as the snake hisses angrily at it's miss before pulling itself up to glare at her. It was mad now...

After taking a breath to regain her focus, Camilla takes her battle pose once more.
However! Before she even had a chance to really get in the pose proper, the Basilisk lunges at her! "Eep! She squeaks and without even thinking, kicks out with her foot as she leaned away from the fangs that came her way! Her foot connects soundly with the side of the Basilisks mouth, but in the process her foot gets nicked by one of the razor shape fangs!
And to make matters worse, as she leaned back to avoid the sudden strike, she loses her balance and goes tumbling backwards leaving her vulnerable to attack!

Camilla learned something else important that day, fighting wasn't always pose and strike... Movement, she had to learn how to keep her battle pose while still being ready to move!
Seeing her down on the ground, the Basilisk quickly rears up to strike her hoping to catch her off guard! "Eek!" she yelps as she sees fangs coming her way! Quickly, she rolls sideways just as the serpents huge maw crashes into the ground where she'd been! Without thinking, Camilla kicks out at the snake's jaw as hard as she could from her position!
The Basilisk lets out a pained angry hiss before turning it's head to glare at her. It could see she was still on the ground and so as revenge it swipes it's head sideways! It all happened so quickly Camilla couldn't even move! And before she knew it, the serpents bulky head crashes into her and sends her tumbling sideways!

As she went tumbling, it was truely a miracle the towel didn't come off! Truely, it was her combined efforts of holding the top closed by wrapping her arm around her top, and her tail around her bottom, that kept her thin piece of modesty on!
The initial strike had hurt, but the pain didn't end there! She finally would come to a stop by crashing into a large nearby rock! "Oof! O-owie..." she groans after she slams into the rock... Her head was spinning so much at that point, she didn't even have a chance to attack...
This was a losing battle...

She had just barely gotten her head together and got things to stop spinning, when she notices the rising form of the Basilisk looming above her! "Whoa! Eep!" she yelps as she throws herself up and to the side just as the serpents maw crunches down on the rock she'd been against just seconds before!
A fang caught her side on the way by, but said fang did much more then that... It caught the towel too!
For a moment, things seemed to move in slow motion for Camilla as her eyes widen when she notices the towel caught on the fang! Unfortunately, due to her momentum there was nothing she could do... She was forced to just watch helplessly as her pin buckles under the strain and comes undone! With the combination of something tugging on the towel and the fact that nothing was holding it now, the towel whips off of her leaving a naked Dormouse for all to see!
Frozen... For what felt like forever, Camilla was frozen in place... She was still plastered against the tree she'd fallen against when she finally got the wheels turning in her mind! A look of abject horror soon paints her face as she turns a deep beet red! The blush was so deep it even crept onto the back of her neck as she gets to her feet!
Quickly she covers her chest with her arms and her back and front with her tail as much as possible! Somehow she'd caught her skullpin, but in that moment she almost wish she hadn't! At least in her natural form she'd have fur to cover her!
It didn't take long for the Basilisk to realize what happen. The towel hanging off it's fang was a good clue, and the fact that it's heat senses showed her face was hot and red helped too... "Hisss sss sss ssssss!" it hisses as it begins laughing uproarishly at her! This causes Camilla to blush even harder, and she swares that if she could blush from head to toe she would be right now! Finally, as a act of cruel spite, the Basilisk hangs her towel high up in one of the trees out of reach before returning to it's laughing!
Ok! That was it! She couldn't fight this thing totally naked! The sheer embarrassment of it all was just too much for the Dormouse ghoul! Pouting hard at the cruel serpent, Camilla frowns miserably before half turning towards the path. "I'll be back you meanie!" she shouts determinely before dashing away as fast as she could before the Basilisk could stop her!
