→As a large wave hit the shore, the salty water crashed into the lying girls mouth. Shooting up abruptly, Sophie coughed up the water that burned her throat. Oh how her head pounded. Looking around didn't see the floral colored walls, or the bunk beds in the ship's cabin. As her eyes finally adjusted to the sun, the landscape around her became noticable. Water, trees, sand, lots of sand. It seemed to be a beach of some sort. "What the..." Her words trailed off as she spotted a couple more people on the shore. Sophie stared out at the ocean. It was dark, cloudy, scary looking, ton's of debry. She saw nothing but water until she hit the horizon, then it all seemed to just fade into the water.
The girl groaned and stretched her aching back until she heard the small pop that relaxed her joints. Sophie then stood up from the ground, dusting the hard sand off of herself, noticing a few scrapes and cuts along her legs. "Does anyone even know where we are?" the brunette called out but it wasn't very loud. She let her voice trail off to the ground. Trying to walk forward she sank back down in the sand her whole body was throbbing.


→Loud unsettling waves was the first thing the boy woke up to as he blinked his eyes open. Ashton, feeling a headache worse than a hangover beginning to throb in the back of his skull, noticed that he was lying on his back, looking up at the sky. He made a move to sit up, but lost his balance and fell off of a rock. He let out a loud groan. Wait a minute- a rock? Before he could even really ponder why he had been asleep on a rock, he felt his body ache: painfully. He winced at the pain in his back as he sat up, rubbing it and glancing around. He looked up at the trees in front. "What the f.." He let his words trail off as he looked behind him, the ocean. He slowly got to his feet and looked around again. "Where am I? He said to himself and followed the sand until he hit the shore. He seemed to be on some sort of island, judging by the way the shore seemed to round out to form a circle. He didn't see anyone, yet but he looked back toward the forest and began shouting. "Hello!" he called. He had no idea whether he would get an answer or not, as he did not know if there were others on this island.

→Sophie frantically turned around as she heard voices. A boy she heard a boy, she turned her torso left then tried to stand up. Getting to her feet she set her eyes a girl. She waved her arms frantically afraid to walk. Pushing herself forward she walked toward the girl. “Hey! Are you okay?!” She yelled immediately regretting it. Her throat burned so much she felt like she was swallowing salty glass. She walked towards the girl for what seemed to be miles. She noticed a small gash on the girls head. “Ar-are you alright?” She called out shakily. “The ship it it it must of crashed or, I-I don’t know!” Her voice was still shakily from the abrupt awakening. Her head was spinning, she was becoming too emotionally overwhelmed.

→Ashton spun around as he heard voices. Most of the words were unrecognizable at this distance. He carefully walked further down the beach until he saw a guy walk up from the water. Completely confused he blinked and jogged over to him, relieved to hit the water since his feet were aching from the millions of rocks he has to cross over, “hey you!” He called rudely, pointing. “Where the ******** are we?” He yelled as if the guy would know. Okay so Ashton isn’t the kindest person, but his raging migraine and the fact he had no clue where he was wasn’t helping his mood at all. Man could he use a cigarette.

→Sophie suddenly remembered the crash. She had barely made it to the top of the ship when it all went black. She looked around at the many suitcases and a few pieces of debris, the ship itself must have drifted back out to sea. “Lifeboats?” She snapped, she remember nothing of life boats. Her head began spinning again, trying to remember the slightest bit of the crash. She looked back at the girl as she introduced then gasped as she fell, she caught her in her hands at the last minute and gently. “Oh my, oh my god!” She yelled, holding the girls head. She looked around and saw the boys coming towards them. “Help me please!” She nearly screamed. Her hands began to shake, what if this girl just died, she would have no idea what do. As they boys got closer she backed up from Angelique. “She just collapsed I-I don’t know what happened.” She rubbed her aching temples. “I don’t know what to do.”

→Ashton groaned as the boy also didn’t know what was going on. “Useless.” He muttered. He glanced at the guy and nodded as he began to follow behind him. “I seriously don’t remember s**t.” Didn’t help that he might have been a little high the night before. Maybe that’s why his nose and forehead were throbbing so much. He looked around at the island, the sun hadn’t rose from behind the clouds yet so it was still hard to see much. So much for a relaxing vacation. As the two walk forward he heard someone shout, then two girls came in too vision, one on the ground. “Crap.” He jogged closer and heard and heard Sean mutter something. “Dude she could be seriously hurt show some ******** compassion.” He said pushing the other away seeing how dazed she was. He checked her wrist for her pulse. “Still breathing.” He announced. He looked down at his ripped shirt and ripped the remaining piece from his torso away, folding it up and placing it on her forehead. “Hey can you hear me.” He gently asked the collapsed girl.

→Oh man did Ashton want to punch this guy in the face, only five minutes and there already. He took a deep breath and looked back at the girl, his hand still pressed against her forehead. “Hello, look you fainted, are you able to stand?” He asked looking around, he saw no one else. “I say we head we head into the forest,” he paused looking at the sky. “These clouds might mean rain.” He frowned and looked back at the girl. “I’ll help you up.” He stood up and held out his hand, smiling a reassuring smile.

→Sophie glanced at the two boys, her hands shaking vividly. She was close to freaking out. Taking a deep breath she looked at the forest. “I uh, saw some suit cases over there,” she pointed to her right, “they might have some sort of supplies.” She suggested, taking a deep breath. Her head began to hurt a lot less and she regained her footing and stood up, carefully dusting the sand of her legs. She glanced at everyone and cleared her throat. “I-I’m Sophie by the way.” She said softly. “If we’re really going to be stuck here a while you might as well know my name.”

→Sophie pulled a polite smile at everyone, she sighed at Sean's tone, great she was stuck on an deserted island with a bunch of strangers. As she heard Sean's command she glanced over and the beached suitcases. “I'll grab the suitcases,” began walking towards the bags, “or you know you guys can help me.” She suggested, finally starting to feel a bit like herself again. She glanced at the trees, they tall, intimidating to be honest. And the worst part, they were far. The walk back up from the beach was always the worst. How she was praying there would be water, or a cave of some sort. Or you know a hotel with hot towels and a shower.

→Ashton quickly caught the girl, Angelique he later figured out as she stumbled and carefully helped her with her balance. When she apologized he shrugged his shoulders. “Don't worry about” He listened to all the introductions and threw a glare at Sean. “Ashton” He said to the two girls. He could tell that being stuck here with this a*****e was going to be fun. He looked at the girl Sophie and nodded. “Alright let's get a move on then.” He began walking and picked up a suitcase, it was ripped and soaking but there might be something useful in it. He swung it over his shoulder and grabbed another bag and headed to the trees.

→Sophie watched the two boys walk ahead and walked alongside as she asked the question. “I’m from Portland.” She said with a slight smile. “Oregon that is.” She added just in case. ”I was on the cruise so I could actually be in the sun for once. Also a couple of my friends dragged me.” She sighed, remember how they all just had to leave her. She remembered waking up to someone kicking her door in, telling her she needed to get up and leave. The cabin area was already starting to flood. Taking a deep breath she repressed the memory and frowned. “What about you, where are from?” She watched as Angel found a bag, Sophie quickly found another one and opened it up. Some feminine clothes and moved the bag around. “I got some tequila, vodka I think and,” she paused and rummaged around the bag. “I got water! About 7 bottles!” She yelled out to everyone. She found a wallet also opening it up she looked at the ID, “thank you Shannon,” she whispered to herself.

→Ashton tightened his grip on the bags, he walked in silence slightly behind Sean, spat out on the ground. His bags contained clothes, a bag of oats, eye drops, and some over and the counter pain medication. Useful enough. He looked over at the girls who were talking, at they were making the best of the current situation instead of being a completely a*****e. Sighing he quickened his pace and walked ahead of anyone, looking in the tree’s he turned back to everyone. “So what’s the plan?”

→Sophie smiled as Angelique said she’d been to Portland before. She was always proud of her city, and oh how she missed her bed and her cat, and the coffee down the street from her new apartment. Her parents wouldn't even realize she was missing for another 4 weeks, would they really have to be here for 4 weeks? Shaking the negative thoughts out of her head, Sophie glanced back at Angelique when she said where she was from. ”I’ve always wanted to go to New York. My parents are more west coast people so we never really made it over there.” She told the girl and kept walking. Hearing Angelique’s comment about the alcohol she placed the tequila in the windbreaker she had found inside pocket and zipped it up, putting the vodka in back in the suitcase so she’d remember to wash everyone’s cuts. ”I don’t think we should go too far in the forest. Someone might show up on the shore.” she commented. She really did have hope that someone would come for them. Her friends had to realize she was missing. Right? Looking over at Sean as he said he could make a fire, she smiled at him for a moment and glanced away. Thankfully they wouldn’t freeze overnight.

→Ashton raised an eyebrow at Sean, he was actually going to come in use for once. “I know how to purify the salt water. Well I've never actually done it but I could try.” he stated looking back at the girls. "All I would need is a metal dish, a cup, and plastic of some sort." He told them all so hopefully they would keep and eye open for them. When he was 8 his father began taking him hunting with him, and he would teach Ashton all sorts of survival stuff, although he never got the hang of how to make a fire or actually hunt an animal. Ashton never really thought he'd actually ever have to do any of things ever. Hearing Sean tell someone to lead the way, Ashton rolled his eyes and walked ahead, entering the brush of your forest. He walked straight for the most part glancing back every now and then to make sure everyone was doing okay. "If anyone see's a open area let me know, also once we get settled tomorrow someone should go write SOS in the sand." he saw that in a movie once.
