It befuddled the dark elf, how sand whales were able to climb up mountains.
400 feet was large size to be but surely wasn't it a little too heavy?

Ivar somehow found his way back down the mountain with an egg tucked safely under his arm, making his way past a rolling sand lobster (thankfully much smaller than a whale), creeping past the giant snake that continued to do nothing but stareeeee, dodging the brief harassment of the shrill-pitched baby wyvern and finally, brushing a scuttling sand crab aside before reaching the base.

His affinity with minipets and the like was poor as ever, having broken yet another get, and having this one stolen from him by the sand whale yet again.

"Again?" Edel asked, extremely amused but now actually quite tired from having to chaperone the man up and down the mountain to collect the wyvern eggs he somehow managed to keep breaking.
"Ah...well, sorry about that" he replied, rather ashamedly as the pair made their way up the mountain and back down safely with another egg in hand.

There was nothing else but EXTREME SHAME AND EMBARRASSMENT for the dark elf, who had insisted to climb the mountain and retrieve the egg by himself, not wanting to encumber the frost demon yet again.
He would find himself somewhat relieved the ghoul wasn't there to witness him breaking YET ANOTHER EGG when the rolling sand lobster tripped him up and sent the egg flying and tumbling to its demise.

Ivar could never understand how or why he was always running into the sand whale.
Waving off the cloud of dust that was kicked into his face, the man sighed as he found that his egg had been taken from him yet again.

"That took a while?" she asked, seeing that the man had finally returned with an egg in hand. The ghoul would not know about the other two eggs that had been lost in the mountain. "Perhaps I should have come along..." she said sheepishly, noticing Ivar to be a little disgruntled and out of sorts.
"No, not at all, I just had to avoid a number of things along the way," he covered up, purposefully leaving out the details of his terrible expedition.
Ivar figured by now that he was probably a marked man to the wyverns, having stolen and destroyed so many of their eggs. Hopefully their final task would go on smoothly this time...
