- It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some eggs. Some untainted, un-miasma fused precious wyvern eggs from an exotic wyvern couple that sadly passed away. You must scale a very high mountain in order to get these eggs.
- Your character is dropped off at the base of the mountain. The goal is to climb the mountain and get the egg. To scale the mountain, you must write a jaunty 250 word post of your character scaling the mountain. You can do this as you please, there are plenty of angry nesting minipets, boulders, and possibly giant serpents blocking your way. As you reach the top, obtain the egg, and you are ready to begin your descent.
- Every single creature possible, especially rolling sand lobsters, will try to destroy your egg. Roll 1d4 four times and match your dice roll to the prompt below to reach the bottom of the mountain. Yes, repeats do happen if you roll a repeat. Your egg has 10 HP. If you make it down without the egg reaching 0 HP (breaking) you made it!
1) A sand lobster rolls right into your egg and nearly breaks it! -2 HP 2) Strange velociraptor minipets are hungrily staring at your egg. They try to attack it! -1 HP 3) A giant snake smacks you with its giant tail. Ouch! -3 HP 4) Nothing happens. You were lucky!

First an angry turkey, then an angry sand whale, and now... eggs? Not that Maddie was complaining... aside from being treated like an errand ghoul. At least this time she actually got food and the opportunity to hit stuff, and, well, wyvern eggs did sound kinda neat. And tasty.
However, why couldn't they drop her at the TOP of the mountain instead of the bottom, especially if she was supposed to climb back down afterwards? Ugh, they were just making her do more work. Well, at least this was an opportunity to prove how awesome she was, and that these paws weren't just for show.
Determined to show off how mighty capable she was, Maddie dug her claws into the mountain side, slowly pulling her tiny body up. Of course, nothing was ever easy, and on several occasions, she had to maneuver herself to avoid being crushed by boulders. As if that wasn't enough, it seemed some of those boulders were ALIVE, and started pelting rocks at her. Seriously, if she didn't have her hands full with climbing, she would have smacked those darn things. As if that wasn't enough, it seemed just her presence was disturbing wildlife. Angry phoenix hatchlings, and tart eaters, and just... it baffled her why these minis were here, but they were, and they were GRUMPY.
At a few, she bared her teeth. At some, she growled. She tried to smack one or two on occasion, but it only made her realize how hard it was climbing with one one arm.
Thankfully, after avoiding some more grumpy minis and rolling boulders, Maddie finally made her way to the top.

It didn't take her long to find the egg, but now... she had to bring it back in one piece... against more grumpy minis and other possible monsters. Ugh, this sucked.
The first thing she ran into was a sand lobster (more sand stuff?), though it probably would have been more accurate to say the lobster ran into HER. Well, the egg, technically. It was a good thing she was still holding the darn thing, or it might have really broke.
"Hey, watch it!" She kicked the lobster away.

The lobster didn't appreciate getting kicked, and attempted to break the egg again. "I said STOP IT you dummy!" Clutching the egg, Maddie ran around, trying to outrun the sand lobster. So annoying! Didn't this thing have anything better to do than chase her around? Lobsters don't eat eggs! And stop rolling! Rolling was for losers!
It wasn't like the lobster would understand anything she said, so Maddie just kept on running.

It looked like there were some cracks, but as long as she got it back MOSTLY intact, that was ok, right? Thankfully, it didn't look like there was anything out to get her this time.
Still, if anything, it was best to be alert than sorry. The LAST thing she needed was a surprise attack on her way back. Those were the absolute WORST, and no on was going to make a fool out of Maddie!

Just a bit more and she'd reach the bottom! It seemed lobsters REALLY didn't like her, and kept trying to break the egg. But she already reached the bottom, ha! Tough luck, losers! It was a good thing she was alert. ... she was TOTALLY alert, ok? No one was getting the jump on her! NO EGGS FOR LOBSTERS.
Now to get this back before she ended up dropping it or something, not that she'd end up doing that or anything. Maddie was SUPER responsible and... this egg totally had some cracks but WHATEVER it was MOSTLY in one piece. That counted.
