As Camilla wandered through the fog looking for something relaxing to do, she couldn't help but feet up tight... The prickle on the back of her neck... The anxiety... The distant whispers... She just didn't like it... Not one bit... And she couldn't understand why she was feeling this way all of a sudden... Was that dragon stalking her? Did it have minions stalking her... She just didn't know...

Finally, mercifully, she comes upon a pond with some cloaked figures fishing happily. For a moment, the Dormouse ghoul simply watches them as she tries to decide what she should do. Fishing was supposed to be relaxing right? But... She didn't have a rod... Maybe they would let her use one of theirs? While Camilla stood there musing, the fishermen sat there watching.

Eventually, one of the men, a older salty looking gentlemen, clears their throat before speaking. "Ehm, eh miss? Yeh would'n be wanting teh fish wit' us would ya?" He asks curiously. Hearing the man speak to her snapped her from her musing, smiling slightly Camilla nods a bit before shaking her head a little. "I would! But... if I'm bothering you I can leave..." she replies cheerily at first then softly at the end. "Naw, naw! We'd be happy teh have yeh fish wit' us! 'ight boils?" the man says jovially before getting nods from the others.

"Oh! Thank you!" she chirps and gives a merry tail wag, only to have it fall as she remembers something important... "Oh... But, I don't have a rod..." she replies disappointedly as her tail droops. Frowning, the man scratches his peach fuzz beard before looking at her inquisitively. "Whelp, do yahs have eh whale's fin? I can makes yeh a rod out 'o that! Yahp." he asks before setting his rod down carefully and standing up. Smiling, Camilla nods cheerfully at this revelation! "I do! Lets see... Ah! Here it is!" she chirps before pulling out her pouch and digging around in it.

Once she found the fin, the men watch in awe as she pulls a much too big whale fin out of a much too small pouch! "Well I'll be... T'won't ask how yeh dids that miss, cuss I probly wouldn' understand it none. But I dos know 'ow to make yeh yerh rod!" the man replies before digging out the molds needed to make the base. Turned out that, the friendly man was the village rod maker! And luckily, he always kept his equipment with him! Camilla found that quite clever really. Good business practice too!

It didn't take too long to make the rod. The Whale fin was first rolled up until it made a tubular shape, which was then was slid over a round rod of cedar. Camilla found this curious and asked why he didn't just use the rod of cedar. The man explained that when Whale Fin was used in the making of a rod, it caused fish to have a odd attraction to the rod. Once the handle was made, the reel, and long thin part of the rod was attached followed by the rings which held the line to the rod. Once the rod itself was done, the man kindly strings the line through the loops and attaches a hook for her.

"And dones! I thinks that is one o' my best works! Yehp! Try'er out! 'er's 'ome bate!" the man exclaims proudly before handing Camilla the rod and holding out a can of... something... "Thanks!" she chirps before taking tne rod and reaching into the can. Wow... it was a lot deeper then it seemed... lets see... Ah! Finally, after a bit if 'fishing' she pulls out a nice big worm! With her bate in hand, Camilla heads for the dock upon the man's request. The friendly villager offered to bait her hook but she politely declined. She had been fishing before, she knew how to bate her own hook.

Finally, with everything ready, Camilla plops down inbetween the fishermen and casts her line.

It zips expertly through the air before landing with a satisfying 'plop'. With her line in the water, all she could do now was wait. Soon, as she'd hoped, she started to relax. Being around creeple reduced that prickly feeling on the back of her neck, because even if something did attack her, she wouldn't be alone! Somehow, she still felt as if she were being watched however... But any improvement was good improvement.

Eventually however, for the typically hyper excitable Dormouse ghoul relaxing went to boring... And soon frustration... Several times, she reeled in her line and recast it, but it didn't seem to be doing any good... "Just relax there missy, the fish wills 'ome when it 'omes! Castin' and recastin' 'on't make it comes any sooner. Nahp." Sighing frustratedly, Camilla tried to relax again. Even fishing wasn't unwinding her... And she was starting to feel surprisingly aggressive towards the laid back fishermen... How could they be so calm about this? How could they just spend hours doing this!? She was starting to wonder if this had been a good idea after all...

Finally, just as she was about to reel in and cast again, she feels a slight tug! "Hm!?" she hums in surprise before a stronger tug! "Oh! I've got a bite!" She exclaims and jerks the line! Easily setting the hook the water became alive with activity! "Good job there miss! 'ow, reeler in slow! Tats it! Nice'in easy! 'in... Yeh gots it!" the man exclaims as she follows his commands before jerking the fish out of the water! Camilla was so happy! For all of three seconds... Upon seeing her fish she gives it a very deadpan look...

It was a skeletal fish... Was it even alive...? "Aw..." she whines slightly before pouting... The man claps her on the back cheerfully before noticing her disappointment. "'ey there missy! 'on't be sad, 'one fish has lots o' fish oil in em bones! Yeh should be able teh gets 'ome good seeds fer taht!" he explains which causes her to smile weakly. For all that frustration... She was expecting something... Better... Still... Least she caught something at all!

After unhooking her fish, Camilla goes to give the man the rod but he shakes his head and waves a hand. "Naw, naw! tahts yerh rod! Mades it wit' yerh whale's fin, so it's yerhs!" he explains which causes the Dormouse ghoul's smile to broaden. "Thank you!" she exclaims in happy surprise! Cheerfully, she sticks the rod in the small pouch which causes the fishermen to whistle. "My, my... taht is a usefull bag!" the man says in a impressed tone.

Eventually, after chatting a bit more, the man tells her where the best place to sell her fish was before suddenly digging around in his pocket. "Oh! 'er miss! I found this ol' key. It's teh rusty fer me teh use, but yeh tourist folk might 'ave some use fer it! Tak' it as thank fer spendin' 'ome time wit' some ol' men! Ha har!" the friendly man says before handing off the key. "Ooo! Thanks!" she chirps before pocketing the key.

Soon, she waves her goodbyes and heads for the market. It hadn't been a relaxing fishing trip persay... And she honestly felt a bit more wound up then before truthfully... But at least she'd met some nice creeple! And got a cool old key!
