We have a basic idea for the little sister and who we want it to go to. Below is what we had in mind for her. She may be tweaked a bit to fit the mun we give it to’s taste, but below is the main concept of her as for this prompt. Also, for the necessity of a temporary name for the prompt, she shall be called Elete.
Which Sibling: [Middle] Name: Elete Personality: Introvert, Opinionated, Pessimistic, Family-Oriented
Feet rested up on the desk, Iynx gave a pop of her chewing gum as their teacher asked about their plans for the future, not really caring what this teacher thought of how she was behaving at all. However, the least she and her sisters could do was answer the question right? However she wasn’t going to answer until the oldest, Pyxis did so first. She was the leader of the triplets, so why go first when her elder triplet sister could?
Pyxis tutted and tapped at Iynx’s Feet up on the desk, using her eyes to motion downwards, in a ‘Remember Your Manners’ way.
“Well, I believe we each have an idea of what we would like to do with our lives, you see, we are most assuredly individuals and hate to be pigeon holed as those triplets,” she glanced at both of her sisters in turn and waited for a nod of confirmation.
Elete gave a huff of hot air to move the hair from her eyes before giving a tiny nod. Surely this conversation with their teacher was absolutely pointless “,What Pyxis said. Although I don’t see the point of asking about our futures.”
“Elete!”
“Elete! Really?!” Pyxis blushed at her sister’s impertinence “My apologies, Miss. I think personally, I would like to help people. Something medical perhaps?”
“I know you would be great at something of those sorts Pyxis!” Inyx for sure knew that their elder triplet would be good at anything she did, but helping others was something that would for sure be the dream job for Pyxis “, And don’t let Elete’s down look on all this get you down about us teacher Miss! She just doesn’t know what she wants to be yet! As for me, I do!”
Elete grunted and used her elbow to poke into her sister's side a bit harshly. Did Inyx always have to be this upbeat?
Completely ignoring the youngest of them, Inyx’s eyes seemed to brighten up as she went on a tangent of what she wanted to be when she graduated “, I have tried so many different classes and clubs whilst here at the academy, but none have gotten me more excited and pumped up to spend time in a boring classroom than mechanics! Just thinking of getting my hands on a piece of machinery gets my wings all fluffed up and my fur tingling for the feeling of the cool metal against my claws! Oh how I would love to work every day somewhere, most likely in a garage, working on all the different machines around me and making sure they were to the best quality they could possibly be!”
Pyxis smiled at her sister's enthusiasm for her dream of becoming a mechanic. She was very proud of both of her sisters and knew that when they set their minds to something they could really excel. At the moment though she just worried about Elete’s lack of enthusiasm.
“Iynx is definitely the most hands on of us three. If we see someone having any kind of horseless carriage troubles, she’s in there like a shot. I mean she isn’t always the most helpful but she tries her best!” she smiled in a sisterly teasing way towards Iynx.
“Pfff! Oh please! Just watch her fail at getting the license for it,” came a muttered voice coming from under Elete’s breath, a little too loud for how she wanted it to be though. Despite how mean it sounded, she was only mentioning it quietly because she did care about what could possibly happen to her sister, due to Iynx’s procrastination and how she acted around authority a lot of the time. Needless to say Elete managed to get her enthusiastic sister’s attention, and it wasn’t on her good side either.
“What did you just say I would do?!” In no time whatsoever Iynx was on her feet, spitting her gum out at full speed and having it land perfectly in the trash. She had lots of practice with that “, You know I try my hardest to get the best grades I can with such mind wrenching classes. I am not going to let such things though get in the way of my dream! At least I have a dream!”
“Inyx, sit down please. Elete, enough,” Pyxis rolled her eyes at the two of them, being used to this situation happening a lot, she knew the best way to keep control of them was to stay calm like she was right now. Despite what it looked like, Iynx wasn’t easily angered at all. She was just passionate about her ideals and didn’t like it when Elete pushed them down with her own downcasted ideals “, Inyx, Elete didn’t mean for it to sound like that…”
Elete let out tiny grunt and started to speak under her breath in a quieter tone, while facing away from her sisters, “I did to-”
Raising her voice over her youngest sister “-And I know deep down she knows you are going to do great!” Taking a calming breath quickly after raising her voice, she then continued “, Elete, do you have any ideas on what you would like to do?” looking towards the teacher “, she’s not quite as vocal about her feelings as Inyx and I.”
“Not very vocal at all indeed,” Inyx agreed, getting back in her chair and resting her feet back on the desk. When would this get over with so the three of them could get back to their room and relax? “, But she doesn’t have a lot of time lef-”
“I still have time…” came a small voice from Elete, her voice not seeming very confident in that statement though for those who knew her well. The young hybrid kept her eyes off everyone, including her sisters.
With a sigh the teacher thanked them for their time and sent them off, Iynx slinging her backpack on and carrying it by only one strap, while Pyxis put hers on nicely and Elete dragged it along the floor by the strap. As the three made their way down the hallway they discussed what they were going to do after school, each and every one of them giving their input. For sure those three wouldn’t be separating after their time at the academy, even if their dreams were different from one another. They were all just too close!
Those triplets were going to go far, she just knew it. Now if only Elete could finally make up her mind on what to do… Perhaps if someone took the sadistic girl under their wing, she could finally make up her mind of what it was she wanted to be.
Username 1: Panda Moor Which Sibling: First Name: Adara Personality: A brash tomboy, obnoxious, and insensitive. She hasn’t matured greatly, and enjoys teasing her siblings.
Username 2: Geyser Eelborn Which Twin: Middle Name: Zavijava Personality: Sarcastic, aloof, creative; hides a secret sensitive side from his siblings.
Much as with Verity and Circus’s entry, we found it easier if we came up with a name and personality for the third sibling, Nihal. Nihal is calm where his/her/their siblings are volatile, and tries to stay out of their arguments.
Prompt Response: [A teacher has pulled the triplets aside to question their future! They are in the last year of academy! How do they feel about this? Where are they going? Are they sticking together or splitting up? Please RP in-character your response! ] Zavi pulled the pen from behind his ear as he settled into the seat in front of the teacher. She was asking more or less exactly what he thought she was going to ask-- where are you three going, what are you going to do, whatever. Pretty standard procedure, they had to ask you at some point to make sure that you weren't just falling into a pit trap or something. But she was asking them something else, he was sure of it. The teacher wanted to know something. She wanted to know something real bad, and he could hear it in her voice. He began to click the pen in his claws.
"I'm going to Grendel," he said shortly. "These two losers can do whatever the heck they want. Doesn't matter to me. I'll be long gone the minute we finish classes."
The eternal question. The one that had followed them around since they were younglings.
Will you stay together forever?
Ugh. It was irrational, and Zavi knew it. No, not the question, that was natural. How common could triplets be, anyhow? Same hair, same ears, same stripes-- if Zavi didn't dress so plainly, their teachers might have given up calling them by their individual names!
No, that wasn't the irrational bit. The irrational bit was where Zavi's throat stuck together, or how leaden his tongue felt. He refused to look at either of his siblings, refused to let his eyes or his ears or even his tail betray him. He was in total control here. He was in total control and he would. Not. Break. Down. Not here, not in this office, not in front of the teacher, and especially not in front of his siblings!
The clicking of the pen intensified.
Adara wasn't even paying attention, her feet planted on the floor as she pushed the chair onto its back legs. Zavi's words pretty much went in one ear and out the other - she was pretty used to her brother's pessimism about the whole triplet thing. She personally was largely indifferent. Free friends, and all the attention she could ever want. Most gawked to hear she was the oldest, both her and Zavi much shorter than Nihal, but come on. They were awakened at nearly the same time, how long they had to grow had zero factor on height. Nihal just got the giant mutation, and she actually ate her vegetables.
Snapping out of it suddenly, Adara's voice came out of almost nowhere, cutting Nihal off. Her nose crinkled slightly. "I don't want to be locked up in a University. I'll find something out in the real world, and if they won't take me, it sounds like the Community College would." She folded her arms loosely, ears flicking as she looked back up to the ceiling. They had had zero choice in going to the Academy, it wasn't like there was options. And while they were close, and while they were some of the few Grimm (even if only in part), Adara had always been some form of independent.
"And when Zavi flunks out, he can come live with me for free. A pack's a pack right, always a howl away," she slid her gaze to her brother, a slight smirk changing her expression from checked out to devilish. Adara reached over, grabbing the pen from him. "Oh, and Nihal and come stay with me too. That's what Grimm do right, dog pile?" She flashed a short grin, a canine tooth showing. It was clear which part of her heritage she favored, even if there was so little example before her.
Wings flaring to keep her balance, she let the chair legs fall back onto the floor, leaning forward and tucking the pen a bit harshly back behind Zavi's ear. "Maybe I'll get a job that needs a little magic. It's not like we actually have much chance to understand culture."
Zavi shot his sister a poisonous glance as she snatched the pen out of his claws. “I will not be flunking out,” he said coldly. “I will graduate with honors, start a musical career, and never see either of you two failures again. If anyone’s gonna flunk, it’s gonna be you, puppy.” How dare Adara not go to university?! How dare she set their sights so low?! If she had just studied more, then she could go to university with Zavi, and then the pack wouldn’t have to split up!
But nooo, Adara had to be all independent, and split the band too early! Zavi forgot about their taller sibling entirely, instead seething invisibly in his seat. His eyes barely flickered when the pen scratched his ear on its way back in. “You, meanwhile, can go off to community college and howl at the moon all you want. Have fun there, Adara. Studying, what, enchantment? Way to be ambitious.”
He crossed his arms loosely across his chest and refused to look his older sister in the eye. That was just like her to act like that. So selfish. “So, we done here?” he asked the teacher. Her he could look in the eye; his siblings? Not so much.
Adara snorted, a bit amused at how easy Zavi was to rile. Let's face it, she had years of practice. "I can whistle too, you're not unique," she challenged, doing just so before chuckling lowly. Scooting her chair away from her sibling and out of arm and wing reach, she went back to her rocking, nose raised high. Before she could get much further in her taunting, the teacher cleared her throat and Adara wiped the bemused expression from her face.
Nihal didn't react at all to the scene, stony faced. While they could all behave in class, sometimes in private things were a bit explosive to say the least. The taller Hybrid rolled her shoulders, looking to the two before speaking carefully. "I think that some time apart will do us good," she decided for them, looking to the teacher with lively indigo eyes. "We've always only had each other - triplets, Hybrids, and as Grimm - so maybe we need to explore the other aspects of our lives."
The teacher didn't seem impressed, sighing as she scribbled on the page before her. "May you all go on to be bright stars then," she offered in a resigned tone, clearly not satisfied with the answers she received.

Who is who?:Purpleish is Viva Viola, Purplish grey is Strawberri Stardust, Dim grey is both.
Username 1: Kaefaux Which Sibling: First Name: Cameron Personality: Cameron has three main priorities in her life: her siblings, her music, and fun. The order is not fixed unfortunately, and the need for almost constant entertainment can seem to push what should be priorities right out of the queue. For Cameron--or Cammy, as the common nickname tends to be--a listless, boring moment is a horrible sin that must be rectified immediately. Usually with something loud. Or bright. Or both. Largely depends on what sort of resources she has at claw and how creative she's feeling in the moment for how she can combine whatever resources are around and about.
While predominantly incredibly upbeat and friendly, Cameron does possess a slight irrational temper. Much like an adolescent, she will puff her cheeks and stomp her feet if her attempts at fun and games are spoiled. If presented with only "boring" responsibilities she must focus her attention on, Cameron will often pitch fits that usually result in her storming off to play her guitar in a huffing slump somewhere. Her one golden point in this gloom however would be her inability to let herself disappoint people. The idea of letting her grades slip doesn't make her bat a lash, but considering her family wouldn't approve and would be disappointed? Has been the prime reason for Cameron finishing her assignments, even if she's huffing, puffing, and whining all the while.
Username 2: Leopleuradon Which Twin: Middle Name: Conan Personality: Conan 's number one priority in his life is his family. He loves his two siblings and realizes how lucky he is to have grown up an orphan with siblings. And not just one, but two! He would do anything for his siblings and is quick to anger if he's found out someone has hurt them in some way. He maintains good grades for their sake, and the sake of their future together, but he's a terribly procrastinator and pushes everything to the last possible second, often turning assignments in just seconds before the due time. You could say that the siblings are a coin, one side is Cammy and Conan, and the other, much more rational side, is Cherish.
Conan himself is very impulsive. He's willing to try anything once, hang out with complete strangers, try a new food, and etc. He probably tried to play every sort of instrument he can get his hands on, but he's quite fond of the keytar himself. Of the three he isn't really the best singer or instrument player. His skills involve dance and choreography and usually this is what he focuses his time on. You'll find that Conan is, in general, a really easy person to get along with. He absolutely is never shy or bashful, though he might play it up a bit if it gets him the right sort of attention.
Prompt Response:
Just a few things to note; We based their personalities around their zodiac being The Lyre. At the moment we are referring to the third sibling as Cherish and she is the oldest of them, well as older as awakening together can get, and is typically the voice of reason out of the three of them. They have been taking classes in school that could prepare them to live the pop-star life style. Music, Theatre, Dance and the like! They each have their own strengths and weaknesses. c:
Gray = Conan, lavender = Cameron, and black = Teacher/Cherish
All seniors were pulled aside at some point to discuss their plans for the future. The only difference between what they discussed with the teachers and what Conan would be asked was that he wasn't alone and that was the biggest difference. Would he remain by his sisters sides? It was common for Nighmares to ask each other about what they wanted to be when they grew up, left the academy, and either started a career or aimed for higher education. However, all his life Conan had been asked questions like 'Are you three ever not together?' 'Do you think you'll be together forever?'. The answers were, in his mind, respectively yes and no.
It was their music teacher who had pulled them aside. They were easily the teacher that was closet to the three of them as they often sought out her advice in various aspects of their class work and their collective goals. Usually he would be happy to be called on by the teacher, but when he arrived he realized he wasn't the only one. Both Cameron and Cherish were there as well. He gritted his teeth a bit, sending a little glare toward Cammy, but reluctantly sat down in front of the teacher's desk.
"I'd like us to discuss your plans for the future. You three have always been so close and I'd like to take this opportunity to discuss what plans you have for when you all leave the academy." There was a hint of concern in the teachers voice as she looks over the three siblings. Cherish had strategically taken the center chair, separating the two currently squabbling siblings.
Cameron was very much there, thanks, and had totally been there for a while before Conan finally graced them with his presence. The Nightmare's arms were crossed over her stomach, slouching in the chair beside Cherish with a pawed foot pulled up on the seat with her butt. Lips pursed, dark eyes narrowed, about all that was missing from her pout was gum popping between her lips. Alas, she'd spat that out before she got into the teacher's office. Y'know, respect and all that. But oh how she regretted this. She wish she had a few bubbles she could pop in her brother's direction.
Despite Cherish's clear attempts at trying to act as the border from the beginning, Cameron still managed to peer at Conan over her seat and around her sister, returning the glare with a glower of her own. The tip of her tail flickered and twitched. All it needed was a damn rattle attached to it really...
"Keep doing music stuff, duh," she tossed in after the teacher had spoken, drawing her attention back from the sibling she was squabbling with. Her voice was blunt, as if this fact should have been stupidly obvious. Her brows rose, eyes narrowing a little to continue this theme. "In school or not, I'm keeping up with my music no matter what." Though she spoke as if she'd be going solo... she wasn't sure if that was the case. Conan and Cherish had always been there. They'd... still be, right?
She wriggled a little in her seat, shoulders hunching as she felt her stomach clench in unease. They... would be.... with her... right..?
The teacher visibly sighed. Well yes, she had expected them to keep doing 'music stuff' as Cameron so beautifully phrased it. Cherish for her part was sitting patiently, just trying to be the biggest buffer that she could be. She caught sight of Cameron glaring around her and pulled her clawed hand up and cleared her throat, effectively getting the attention of everyone in the room. "I'd personally like to see myself, and my siblings, attend Grendel University."
Conan's own tail was twitching around irritability, he could feel the glares from Cammy, even if he didn't actually look in her direction. Oh no, in fact he was staring quite intently at the door he had just walked in through. If he could just sit through this for a few more minutes he could be back in his dorm, practicing his keytar, or dancing, and avoiding his siblings, again. Poor Cherish didn't deserve to have this fight taken out on her, but well she refused to pick a side, and as such he was avoiding her for the time being as well. Though he was considerable less hostile toward her.
His ears fell back as Cammy mentioned she'd be practicing -her- music no matter what. Where they really going to split up over this? He finally turned his gaze toward the teacher, he looked considerably less angry and maybe just a bit sad actually. He listened as Cherish spoke up. None of them had really discussed any concrete plans outside of "playing music forever" and he was surprised she had brought up Grendel at all, but he nodded.
"Grendel wouldn't be such a bad option I suppose...." He sent a gentle smile Cherish's way, but kept his eyes off of his other sister for now. He still wasn't quite ready to cross that bridge just yet.
She'd glanced Cherish's way when she spoke up, peeking up at her older sister. Oh yeah. Grendel. That was a place. Where they could... keep learning about techniques and other instruments, new music and influences. Y'know, fun stuff. Um... and maybe some classes on like uh... contract writing, and um... how to not get screwed over in gig deals and the like. Stuff they didn't fully need to worry about now, but if they planned on hitting it big they'd totally need to be savvy with.
Her mouth opened, only for her teeth to click shut and ears pin back as Conan spoke up. Though they did... twitch back up a little when he sort of agreed with Grendel. Well if they were both down for it--even if she was refusing to look at Conan now--her lips pursed as she hummed in thought. "I'd... er, I mean I was kinda kinda hoping we'd... not do the school thing and just... y'know, jump into playing music full time and focus on getting gigs and stuff but." Cameron was nothing if not always open about her thoughts. "I mean it wouldn't be bad to go to Grendel though and learn more. Might give us more chances to network and learn the ins and outs of the industry before we jump in."
Her ears flicked, fangs nipping at her lower lip as her arms tightened around herself. Slowly, she turned her head towards Cherish. And... might have glanced a little beyond her to peek at Conan. Maybe. Semi-sort-of. Vaguely. He totally didn't see her nope she knew she was way too stealthy for that. "We um.... are gonna keep playing together... right?" Psh, she could totally not talk to Conan again and still play. She could be professional, thanks. That's what they had Cherish for. The go-between. But it'd... kinda suck if they stopped playing.
"I would recommend going to Grendel. It would certainly help you with certain aspects of your career aspirations. There's nothing wrong with playing gigs and such while in school. However," Though the teacher hated to have to admit these sort of things, it wouldn't be fair for her not to. She gave every inspiring famous musician these same words. "You'll always have your education to fall back on should things not possibly work out. But if it's you three. I think you could do it." The teacher smiled, watching the three of them interact.
Cherish, sensing that Cameron was actually trying to open up a bit. Leaned back in her seat, so that her two siblings might be able to get a better look at each other. In reply to Cameron's question she merely smiled and shrugged, looking toward Conan, trying to get the reply they were all hoping to hear out of him.
To be honest he was surprised the three of them had even made it this far into the academy without being all "Forget school, let's rock!" It was likely due to Cherish's influence that Cammy and himself had even made it this far. So, while he agreed with Cammy and figured they could dive right into the world of full-time gigs, well Cherish always had a good point. Their teacher also had a good point.
At long last he turned his head to glance down the row of seats at Cammy. He couldn't believe she had actually asked that out loud! "Of course we'll always play together!" It was like an automatic reaction at that point. He threw his hands out wide as if to express how ridiculous the question had been. "I don't want to call our band The Triple C's for nothing." And thus, the reason they had been arguing. Band names were never something easy to agree on, but he was sticking to his guns with this one.
Cammy's nose scrunched up at the very concept that they'd have to do anything else than playing gigs and meeting fans and living an idol life. Ugh! So... so boring! Her tongue peeked out from between her lips, cringing back into the seat. Yeah, ugh, no. She adored you teach, she did, but why'd you have to go and say a mood killer like that?
Besides... what other skills did she even have besides her guitar and random vocals? Cameron really didn't... like to think about that. She'd spent so much time focusing on the music she and her siblings played, that nothing else really appealed to her. Work in an office? Ew! She shivered, a sick feeling rolling around her stomach. She'd... never let that happen. No way. Besides, they were way too good to get kicked to the curb!
--ugh even if Conan kept voting for that stupid name!
Though she'd most certainly perked up hearing her brother speak to her again, dropping her paw to the ground and leaning forward in her seat to better see him, her toothy smile faded into a groan to hear that name. Ugh! "That name is so cliche," came her whine, bottom lip sticking out as she pouted at her siblings. "Like yeah it fits but..." She intentionally made her lip tremble, trying to gain some sympathy from Cherish to side with her.
Yep. That was the entire reason for their disputes. A band name. Serious business, that.
"I want something that's... more... um.... theme-y! Yeah! Like um... those cute idol groups that's like each person's a 'type' or something and it's so cool!" But no, Conan wanted The Triple C's. Which... yeah ok, it could fit. She got how it did and like it wasn't the worst but...
Her hands tightened around the arms of the chair, biting at her lip a bit as she looked at her siblings. "Could... we... I dunno, see if we could... make both work..? The name and... um, the stuff I wanna do?"
She was trying. For the sake of her brother, she was trying to compromise.
She also might have been sending pleading looks to Cherish trying to convey that look, see? She could play nice! She was being good! Don't be mad sis...!
The teacher, for her part, was just happy she had unearthed the reason why the two siblings hadn't been getting along lately. In the last few days she had picked up on their, very not subtle at all, attitudes with each other. She was happy to see the bond the three of them shared, and the way Cherish had been able to coax the two of them into actually conversing, something they hadn't done in a few days.
Cherish only rolled her eyes, ever so slightly, as Cameron looked her direction again. She threw her own hands into the air in a display of "Who knows? Who cares?" "What really matters is that we'll be playing together. Sharing our music. You two can figure out the name." She settled back into her own chair than. She was just glad that she had gotten the two of them to agree to further their education. She was going to do it one way or another, might as well drag her siblings along with her. She hid her own little smirk behind a fluffy claw, watching her siblings debate.
"So what if it's cliche?!" Was his first response. However, he could see that this was causing problems between them. He wasn't that different from Cammy honestly. If he was being stubborn about this, than he knew she'd be just as stubborn. The two of them could argue about this for days, weeks, probably even months honestly. He brought his clawed, fluffy hands up to run them through his hair, part in frustration and part in defeat.
He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees and his chin in his palms. He looked a little pouty, but staring straight ahead at the teacher, not Cherish or Cammy, he finally spoke up. "I didn't mean to force my idea on you. Surely we can find some....compromise..." Her peeked over at Cammy out of the corner of his gleaming purple eyes. He had honestly missed not talking to her. Why they hadn't been able to get over this small hurdle to begin with was beyond him. Hopefully now they could get over this and go back to making music together, just the three of them.
Her ears flattened against her head at Cherish's response, almost hissing at her sister for how she waved it off. What really mattered was that they had a good name that people would remember, flock to, and so on! How could she not see it like how Conan and she did? "You are so lame sometimes," she groaned at her sister, casting Conan a quick look, looking for sympathy. He got it though. He understood the importance.
That was the only reason she got him being stubborn on the name. It wasn't her favorite, and ugh no way did she like not talking to him... but she got he was stubborn about it because he knew the importance of a good name. She just wanted a good image to go with a good name!
Her tail twitched in annoyance, swaying openly behind her chair as she watched her brother. Her claws flexed against the chair arms, paws pressed to the ground as her wings ruffled. Yeah no, she was totally ready to jump to her feet and start--verbally--duking it out with her male triplet. But when he sighed... her body stilled and her ears perked up, forward and alert. He was alright, right? Ah. Yep.
A slow... smile spread across her lips, a hum growing in volume as she... agreed.
She caught the glance from across the chairs and... gave a little, playful wink. She could... y'know, brush stuff under the rug. Sorta. Enough so they could get back to the other serious stuff. "We can hash it out after, right? I mean there's gotta be a way to make both our ideas work." She paused, glancing towards the ceiling as her head bobbed side-to-side. "'Sides.... The Triple C's gives me ideas for some neat logo designs.... hm... we can figure it out after." Once they were back on their turf and laughing again. No more fighting. Least for now. Nah, she was willing to call a truce with her bro on this one.
Well, it seemed like her job was done here. The teacher scribbled a few things down on a piece of paper. "I'll let you know what you need to do to get into Grendel and so on at a later date. For now, thanks for coming in and discussing your futures with me. You're dismissed."
Cherish nodded, happy, for the most part, with the outcome. Though she had been a bit of a buffer to each of her siblings annoyances. Oh well, the perks of being the 'oldest' sibling she supposed. She stood up and followed the other two out of the room, giving the teacher a little wink as she passed by and rolling her eyes playfully at her siblings antics. It was good to have them on speaking terms again. They didn't often argue, but when they did, ugh.
Conan's tail flicked happily, he was honestly relieved he was back on speaking terms with Cammy. He wouldn't have been able to hold out much longer anyway. In a way this meeting with their music teacher had helped the three of them figure more than just what they wanted to do after graduating from the academy. Once the teacher dismissed them he rose to his feet quickly and locked his arm with Cammy's leading her out of the room.
"So I had some ideas..." He rattled them off one after another and the two siblings went left the room, arm in arm, chuckling about something or another. They both glanced back to look after Cherish, making sure she wasn't left behind, and turning back around to giggle. Well, they were certainly getting along again. And quickly too. While he knew they wouldn't always be attached at the hips, one day the three of them would go their separate ways, but they still had a long time to worry about that.

Username 1: Hobo Pixi Which Sibling: First Name: Kiya Personality: Adventurous, Challenging, Rebellious, Incisive, Independent, Insouciant, Assertive, Boisterous, Power Hungry, Loyal.
Which Twin: Last Name: Kanen Personality: Confident, Daring, Authoritarian, Crafty
Prompt Response:
Kiya waited in line with her siblings, thinking about what she had been planning to do. She hadn't really talked to her siblings about her choice or that she'd decided to leave the pack to start her own. She sighed softly as she looked at her brother, genuinely worried for him. He was very dependent on (mostly) her. Her fluffy tail swished a bit as her wings twitched. She just wanted to get this over with so she could get ready to start her life and get out of this academy!
As the teacher called them in, Kiya smirked. She wasn't worried about telling her siblings her plans, even if it would possibly split them up. The wolf girl moved to sit in a chair, looking up to the teacher. She listened to her questions without looking at her siblings at all. "I plan to attend Asterion University and major in Sociology." She answered confidently.
Kanen looked down at the journal they’d been doodling in while waiting of their turn to speak about the future, and what it had in store. For some time now the tallest of the trio had thought long and hard about how best to pursue. A trade skill seemed like the best choice, and would be a great way to give back to the world of below. Law enforcement was where it was at, even if it was not as prestigious as one of the three universities that still was what Kanen had wanted, for as long as they could remember. Working as a police officer seemed like a good start, to get experience in the field. Perhaps one day even work as a detective! The idea brought a wide almost cheesy grin to the laid back teens features. Beyond that, there was always the possibility of presuming future higher education in law. The options were endless with the right amount of funds and practical knowledge to back the book smarts.
Before Kanen could speak, Kiya had interjected. The female’s announcement shouldn't have surprised her that much, but somehow it did. The three of them had been a pack from as early as she could remember, this could be the start of a great divide the likes they had never known. “Funny you should say that sis, I was thinking of going to the community college for law enforcement.” Kanen’s eyes narrowed slightly on the smaller female, before switching to look at the shy features of their third sibling Aenoh. Of course he looked afraid, he’d been painfully shy his entire life. Kanen’s confident smile didn’t waver. “Surely you plan to help me look for a three bedroom apartment somewhere in the middle right?”
Aenoh lifted his head at the tense tone in Kanen’s tone his gaze flickering between his two siblings. Unconsciously he moved closer to Kiya shyly peering from just behind her at their professor and then towards Kanen. Why was he having to make this choice right now, he’d been dreading this day. Aenoh had always expected the three of them to go together, but he could already see where this was going. “I…I..” He started to say before faltering, uncertainty in every fiber of his being. “I want to study psy..psychology at Asterion..” Aenoh explained quietly looking down, his cheeks burning with shame. He wouldn’t make eye contact with Kanen. “But w-we should all stay together!” He looked up at Kanen with pleading eyes briefly before biting his lip nervously.
Smiling sadly, Kanen felt their brows rising in surprise. “What are you saying Aenoh? We’d be together, I just want to study something else no big deal.” The other retorted giving Kiya the weight of her gaze wondering why she had chosen today to press the issue and make Aenoh upset and embarrassed.
Kiya looked to her siblings with a small smile, "When I start at the university, I will be looking to start my own pack as well. I am old enough now to be able to handle being an alpha." She explained to them. "But let's not discuss that in front of our teacher, yes?" She added as she looked back to the teacher. Inside, Kiya was angry; angry Kanen wasn't going to a university. What a waste of potential! She slid her fingers through her hair and sighed. At least her brother was going to her university like she was hoping. Not to mention he was going for such a close major!
The rebellious grimm wasn't sure what would happen once Kanen went to college... and if she was starting her own pack, would her brother join hers? Would living under the same roof be wise? It wasn't like she was trying to be difficult on purpose! Kiya just wanted her independence which she wouldn't get with her sibling being her alpha.
Kiya stood up, "Regardless of what happens, we will always be close; we will always be family. Even if we split up... I'll be sure to visit when I can." She explained to her siblings, looking to the teacher who was watching them. She rubbed her neck. Was there anything else to talk about? She smiled to the teacher, "I guess... To sum it up. My brother and I are planning to go to Asterion University together to study sociology and psychology. Kanen plans to go to community college to become a law enforcer." She summed up as she looked to her siblings.
Kanen looked to Kiya with a great deal of disbelief, and while accepting of her brother and sisters choices it did feel like a betrayal even if it was on a lesser scale. Never had Kanen believed Kiya would run off and try and form her own pack. Raising their brows in surprise, Kanen first gave their brother a stern look then Kiya. Why was this the first Kanen was hearing of these plans? When exactly had this started? They’d all lived in harmony together, and had a strong pack and a good bond. They could easily look for more to add to the mix but hadn’t found the right addition to their pack was all. Did Kiya crave for independence so greatly that she’d go to these lengths to reveal her plans? Instead Kanen felt like the shock value of the announcement had been rather deliberate and honestly, it was frustrating. Raising a brow in consideration, the tallest of the trio looked thoughtful. “I suppose we’ll talk about this later in private…thank you for your time Professor.” It took a great deal of willpower to keep an even voice that didn’t sound annoyed.
Aenoh felt a swelling of panic rising in his chest. The way his siblings were talking didn’t bode well. For a moment he’d held out false hope that perhaps they’d live together.. but if Kiya wanted her own pack what about him? How was he supposed to belong to both packs? Tears pricked at his eyes momentarily before holding a stiff chin. “Y..Yes thank you for your time…” He frowned looking down at his lap. The wolf boy had a lot to think about if what he suspected to be true was actually occurring. He adored both Kanen and Kiya, but his dependency on Kiya could easily be exploited. Although he was not aware of it, he did not believe either sibling would ever play his emotions. Perhaps that made him naïve, but all Aenoh could do was try his best to play the middle ground in some vain hope to hold onto his siblings.
“I won’t follow you as leader Kiya, I’ll form my own pack if that’s the case.” Kanen finally added brows furrowing slightly, getting up and walking to head out of the room with terse tone and set of the shoulders.
Just like that Aenoh felt trapped in the middle between the two alphas and their desire to keep their position. His ears laid back as he followed after them, chewing at his lower lip feeling guilty he couldn’t somehow be two in one to make both of them happy.
edited 8/29: forgot to mention about the 3rd triplet. Username 1: Tanukyle Which Sibling: First Name: Arabella Personality: Arabella makes a wonderful elder sister. She's friendly and caring for her younger siblings and friends. She's unruffled by other's opinions and stances on things, accepting it all equally. She treats people gently and is pretty protective of those she cares about. Sometimes this treatment can go too far. leading her to over-coddle those she loves best, but she means well. Though she puts up a good front, she's pretty insecure, always wondering if she's good enough or did well enough. This makes her a bit needy, wanting company near constantly.
[Index] + indicates a positive trait; = indicates a neutral trait; - indicates a negative trait
+Friendly [****]Quick with a compliment and quicker with a smile, Arabella is overall a very friendly nightmare. She loves being social, though tends to chat over gossip because nobody likes being gossiped about, and prefers group activities over solo practice - she's infinitely glad her two siblings and her can perform together. She's also concerned about others, particularly those who are lonely, and has the tendency to mother others, especially (but not always) those younger than her. Socially aware however, she does know when to back off and leave well alone. +Accepting [****]Very little bothers Arabella. Accepting of other viewpoints, species, attitudes...it's mostly water off a ducks back. There are a few exceptions, such as unprovoked violence or cruelty, but in general Arabella is a laid-back kind of girl when it comes to differences. After all, despite their looks, every Nightmare is an individual - she knows this better than most. =Gentle [****]Sweet and kind, Arabella treats everyone with kid gloves - she won't tell the truth if it's hurtful, and will always try to make people feel better. Unfortunately, sometimes the truth needs to be told, and kid gloves aren't always appropriate, either. =Protective [****]Despite her aversion to discourse, the protection of others is guaranteed to make Arabella take a stand. The oldest of the triplets, she took to heart the idea of being a protector, a guardian, a guide. However, combine this with her tendency to baby people, and you understand that she can be /too/ protective, even a little restricting - not wanting people to get hurt, she often goes too far in wrapping them in cotton wool. -Needy [****]On the flipside of her social nature is Arabella's tendency to need others - for validation, for company, to just be there. She doesn't tend to make demands of other people in terms of asking them to do things for her, but she does like to be around people almost all the time - which can be difficult for those who are more introverted, and annoying even for other extroverts! -Insecure [****]Whilst she doesn't usually act it, Arabella is quite insecure. She's always afraid of doing something wrong, wrecking relationships...in general not being good enough, not being worthy enough. She relies a little too much on the validation of others, and can take off-handed comments far more seriously than they were meant.
Username 2: Random Nobody 13 Which Twin: Third Personality: Bellatrix is almost always on the move, participating in sports, lending a hand to students and teachers alike, even studying. She has plenty of energy and likes to keep in shape and wear it off. Vibrantly intelligent, she gets great marks in class and usually ends up tutoring a few of her classmates if the teacher can’t get to it. She looks on the bright side of things, always believing there’s a silver lining somewhere. If it isn’t immediately apparent, she’ll be sure to try and find some way to turn that disaster into something far more manageable. With how bright she is, it’s no wonder she tends to be a bit competitive. She loves doing the best she possibly can and knowing it’s better than anyone else’s. This also applies to groups as well and she loves for everyone to succeed. In fact, she focuses more on the group than herself most of the time, and has a hard time keeping from spoiling those she cares about. In her group of friends and even her siblings, she loves to meddle. If something is hinted at or she thinks something is going on, she’s bound to try and weasel it out or mess with it.
[Index] + indicates a positive trait; = indicates a neutral trait; - indicates a negative trait
-+ Optimistic, [****]She always looks at the bright side of things, trying to cheer someone up who has had a rough day or finding the silver lining in something not going her way. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, she’ll find some way to get something positive out of it. This isn’t to say she refuses to see the darker side of things, but she tries to look past that into how it can turn out much better. If she tries to cheer someone up and they just want to be left alone, she’ll back off. She knows when to back off from the situation and come back later once they’re ready to move on and see the bright side. -+ Active [****]Always on the move, full of energy and pep, Bellatrix knows how to get nightmares up and energized. She loves participating in sports, attending parties, being part of a group. She’s the first to volunteer for something and the last to leave once it’s done. Her constant activity gives her plenty of friends and none closer than her sisters. Whether it be solo or part of a team, it doesn’t matter to her how she gets her energy spent. Along with all her activity, she also gives herself plenty of down time to recoup. -+ Brilliant [****]Bellatrix gets great grades on nearly everything she applies herself to. That isn’t to say she’s perfect, but when she focuses on a subject and puts her mind to it, she excels. As a result, she’s tried to take only those electives she was really drawn to and put herself into making sure she’d get great grades in them and in her required classes. Outside of classes, she tends to think out of the box or come up with helpful insights that other nightmare need. -= Ambitious [****]This girl wants to go be the very best at what she loves to do and aims to get there. She sets goals for herself and then tries to exceed those goals. Much of the time she succeeds, and those few times she doesn’t, she finds a silver lining or something to make it seem much better. -= Allocentric (Allocentrism is a collectivistic personality attribute whereby people center their attention and actions on other people rather than themselves. It is a psychological dimension which corresponds to the general cultural dimension of collectivism.) [****]Though she is ambitious and competitive, most of her focus is on what’s best for the group. Helping out others makes sure everyone is happy and productive. After all, things work a lot smoother in a healthy, happy group than in one that’s bickering among themselves. Sometimes it’s hard for her to focus on herself and what’s best for her when she feels like it would adversely affect the group. Competition among peers helps everyone involved improve themselves and her ambition extends to the entire group. -= Competitive [****]With her ambitious and optimistic nature, it’s no wonder the girl can be a bit competitive. Sports help the most for this impulse, and she tries to challenge other ukulele players to bouts as well. In class she loves to get the best grade and adores getting picked first for things. Maybe it’s being treated as the youngest of the triplets by her siblings, maybe she was always that way. It delights her to no end that she’s ended up taller than both her siblings and she loves to rub it in when she can. -=Contradictory
--Meddlesome [****]With all the rest of her traits, it’s not any surprise that she’s meddlesome. She likes being in a group and can’t help but stick her nose into things. Especially where it doesn’t belong. She has a hard time leaving well enough alone and will try to dig up things to better understand people. On occasion she’s been known to try and be a matchmaker among her friends, much to their dismay. Given enough reason, she’ll back off, but up until that point you can expect her to be poking around in the vicinity or trying to talk someone else into spilling the beans. --Indulgent [****]Her allocentric nature leads right into indulgence. She can’t help but want to pamper and spoil everyone. Her Baphomet side shines from this, as she tends to give gifts generously and often to her friends and sisters. This can also lead to her coddling those younger than her along with her siblings. She’s generous with chances in addition to gifts, and will forgive someone if they ask. With those she cares for, she has a hard time saying no to them, be it help, food, or presents.
Prompt Response: [A teacher has pulled the triplets aside to question their future! They are in the last year of academy! How do they feel about this? Where are they going? Are they sticking together or splitting up? Please RP in-character your response! ]
We used a stand in name/personality to make the reply for the prompt smoother. In this case, the third twin is named Isobel and has an indecisive personality.
Bellatrix, the tallest and youngest of the three triplets, trailed after the teacher. Plopping herself down into a chair, she leaned back and tapped a paw while they waited to hear what they wanted. It didn’t come as a shock what the teacher asked either. It was their senior year and each of the siblings had been subjected to the questions of ’Are you guys staying together; where are you going; what’re you gonna do?’ by their fellow students and a couple other teachers. Each time they had responded the same way, ‘We’re talking about it!’ before they had hurried off in the other direction.
Though she was nervous, she was also excited and was surprisingly the first of the three to speak, jumping to her feet. “I want to learn how to help care for and teach the freshlings,” she blurted. It had taken her awhile to come to that conclusion, and she gave her siblings a sheepish grin, ears folding down as she took her seat again. “That is, if you guys want to do that too,” her tone was much more subdued for the second part, hopeful that they would want to as well.
It had been a worrying time, coming up to senior year. Arabella and her siblings had all been....well, stressed was the best way to put it. They'd applied for their senior year classes, decided on electives, and of course spent time together. But in all their time spent together, one subject had been mysteriously absent. They'd chatted about friends, about classes, about food, about music - but not once had they touched on their plans for the future. Arabella desperately, terribly, wanted her little pack to stay together. But. And it was a big but....more than that, she wanted her siblings to be happy.
Even if it meant she had to...had to. Had to let them go. It had taken the hybrid a while to decide that, and it had taken her longer to come to terms with it, especially with her prominent Grimm nature - the triplets had grown up together, struggled together and of course fallen out in times. But they were pack, and that meant something - to her, to society but most importantly to them. As the oldest, she felt almost responsible for her two siblings, but she chewed her lip, keeping quiet as the question was asked.
But Bellatrix did not, and Arabella held her breath as she spoke. They hadn't talked about it, any of it - so she could still hope. And then, as her youngest sibling's ears perked, so obviously excited, she gave a watery smile, tail curling and uncurling in obvious pleasure. Voice cracking in relief, she replied. "I wish to study as a teacher." They would end up together - perhaps not through university, perhaps not through senior year. But she had faith in their bonds. They would outlast this period of turbulence and come out all the stronger for it. And in the end they would be back at the Academy, back at the place that had given them so much - and they would give back.
She had never doubted her siblings would choose worthwhile careers, but to have her own ambitions (quiet, undemanding as they were) line up so neatly with theirs..well, it was wonderful, to say the least. (She could keep one of them.)
Bellatrix's tail waved, relaxing a bit as Arabelle answered as well. They would stay together, something Trixie had unduly hoped for. Flashing her eldest sister a grin, they then turned towards the middle triplet. She knew they were indecisive, and they had had the most trouble with what they wanted to do and where they wanted to go. Bellatrix's ears folded down, tail twitching, they were the most likely to pick something else, not to break them apart, but simply out of an inability to come to a decision and stick with it.
Isobel had trailed after their sisters, sitting at the desk and almost immediately pulling out a sketchpad. They listened as first one sibling, then the other spoke, dread roiling in their stomach. They had thought and thought and thought about what to pick, fearing the discussion. Eyes locked onto their doodle, they missed the exchange between their sisters. Behind them, their tail twitched back and forth in agitation. After hearing a soft throat clearing, they looked up from their doodling, blinking and biting their lip. "I'm. . .not sure what I want to do. I. . There's a couple different things I'm picking from. I haven't decided for sure what I'll go for. ." The words were soft but clear, and when they had finished they went back to looking down, trying to finish their doodling. Bellatrix blinked, having hoped Iso would decide to do what their sisters were doing.
Arabella knew that Isobel would be the most likely to stray, so to speak. She too waited with baited breath, fighting to keep her ears up and not pin them back in fear. She would support Isobel in whatever they did. Even if it hurt. She gave them a reassuring smile, and waited.
Isobel shrugged and looked up again, feeling that they were all still looking at them. "Alright, I'll talk to you again later then Isobel," the teacher said, jotting down their answers. "Thank you for your time you three; you're dismissed." Bellatrix frowned a bit at Iso, moving to murmur into Arabella's ear. "Don't worry, I'm sure they'll decide to teach the littles like we are," she reassured her. She was happy that it had gone as well as it had, and a bit surprised since none of them had discussed it. At the dismissal, she got to her feet, heading towards the door.
Touched that Bellatrix had noticed her apprehension that Isobel wouldn't go with them, Arabella smiled at her triplet and flicked her tail to brush against her siblings leg, then nodded politely to the teacher as they were dismissed from the meeting.
The tail flick was met with one in return and a shared smile, Bellatrix's heart leaping with excitement. She turned to smile at Iso as well, knowing how they must feel. Reaching out, she snagged a hand apiece from them and they left like that. Isobel nodded at the teachers words, putting away the sketchpad as they got up. Apprehension roiled in their stomach and they knew there would be another meeting soon. They trailed after Bellatrix, giving her a weak smile as she was flashed one. As the familiar warmth of her sisters hand slid into hers, she gave it a squeeze and a brighter smile, feeling better since they knew that had been her aim.
