Hello Hello! You might have seen my around, though I have a bad habit of having to go on prolonged hiatuses due to a hectic schedule. I currently have some downtime and have been craving for an rp. However, I don't dare start a big roleplay because I fear disappointing members when I have to leave. Thus, I decided short, well though out 1x1 roleplays would be better. And so my search has begun!
⋘❀ Basic Information ❀⋙
① Rules: First and foremost we will be adhering to the rules and guidelines of Gaia and this guild.
② Mode of communication: I prefer to rp through Gaia so please do not request over email, instant messengers, or other websites. Within Gaia I have no preference whether we rp out through pm or in a thread.
③ Literacy: Literate to advance literate with an emphasis on quality over quantity.
④ Gender pairings: I prefer to rp as female, but if doing multiple characters I can do male. However for romances I will be sticking to female characters in hetero and yuri theme pairings.

Now for the fun part! I have highlighted some themes I am craving for. I am open to ideas and would like to brainstorm out a nice plot before we begin. For a couple I already have a few ideas brewing! Not really open to anime, tv shows, and most movies, but check with me.
① Fantasy adventure!
On a quest for treasure or redemption. Open to several fantasy races. Would love a Middle Earth themed rp [Lord of Rings Hobbit]
② Heaven and Hell pact!
An angel and devil are forced to work together on a mission.
③ Modern Fantasy!
Fantasy with a modern day twist.
⑥ Space exploration and flight
Would enjoy a rp based in the Mass Effect world

Hoshi2 and 3 sound quite fun. It'd be cool to do a lesbian pairing. I was so looking forward to Lilli and Aisha getting together. It would have been so cute. smile I'm happy to do a heterosexual pairing, though, if you prefer. I've been trying to get a romantic pairing with you in our group RPs for ages but they've never happened. Yes a guild thread would be fine so long as we don't break the guild rules during our RP. wink

I had a feeling, unfortunately the long rps just keep taking a hits from my hectic schedule. I will be returning to class and overtime next month (a heads up). I understand and will moderate the thread appropriately. I would like a light romance as approved by ToS, nothing too intense as I mainly want to focus on character, relationship, and writing development. I hope that is alright with you :3

I could certainly play as multiple characters but I'm just wondering. Unfortunately I don't have all the stuff we planned out in my PMs since it was a long time ago now. I don't know if you still have some of it buried in your PM box. I remember quite a lot of it and still have some of the reference pics I sent you but, yeah, it was quite some time. I've done 1x1s where I'm playing six or seven characters so it's not an issue if you want to try that idea. I was quite excited about future plot elements we discussed. smile I still have the stuff we chatted about via PM for Indentured Advocates although since Eisheth is a succubus I kind of doubt we'd really get the sort of slower burn romance you're looking for. razz There was the whole drama of Evelyn succumbing to the taint and perhaps falling under Eisheth's charms which could be interesting to RP but I feel like that could get a bit too dark and adult for a public thread very quickly.

I might include Dominic, but I try to limit myself from too many characters because I’ve realized that spreads me out a bit much throughout the story. I'll have to reconstruct a lot of it from memory since I don't have the messages like I said. Although it turns out I did save some notes about Lillian's dreamscape and some other things about her to a google doc so I've at least not lost that. We've got the original thread which still has some good stuff in it: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=21897691I noticed I took over Loretta right at the end which I had completely forgotten about. lol That's fine. We can shrink the team down to suit the new 1x1 format. Various things we discussed were the origins of the Dream Eaters and also Dominic's mother who I sadly did not save the reference for. Anyway, I hope some of this stirs some memories for you. I can't quite remember what the Dream Eaters were. I believe they were insane Guardians trapped outside of their hosts mind. The idea was the Dream Catchers started by Dominic is the second Dream Catcher group. The first one was started by his mother and it ended rather badly. They experimented in transferring their guardians into the minds of others and it drove them mad. Now they wander into the dreams of others looking for a new body inhabit. Dream Eaters are essentially perfect chameleons who inhabit a victim's mind and slowly take over the brain until they usurp the Guardian. Fighting Dream Eaters involves forcing them to use their abilities until their host recognises them as a foreign object. That forces them to flee the mind and seek out a new host. Lillian has developed virtual brains which she uses to capture fleeing Dream Eaters. Something goes wrong with this latest case however as she was experimenting with her new neural interface (Mentioned in the topic) which allows the Dream Eater to enter her instead of going to the virtual brain. She realises what's happening as it entering via her interface allows it to bypass the brain's normal protections and completely usurp her body. She's able to get herself into Aisha's sleep chamber before she loses complete control of herself. The gas obviously knocks her out so the Dream Eater isn't able to take control and wreak havoc in the lab without anyone to stop it. The story was then going to turn to trying to free Lilli's mind and Aisha would come to realise just how deeply she feels for Lilli because of that. It's also a big deal for Lilli since she has a deep fear of entering her own mind and so she has always resisted any attempt for Dominic, or even herself, to take a look using the equipment they have. I can't quite remember what her issues were with it, off the top of my head, but I'm sure a good reason will come to me in play. I know we planned to move the story on from there to exploring the origins of Dream Eaters and dealing with Dominic's mother who runs a biotech company. My memory gets hazy at that point but hopefully maybe that's enough to get started with. If I remember correctly, the Dream Eaters are actually recruiting people for Dominic's mother's company even if they don't realise it. The problem is that it takes time for the Dream Eater to take full possession and that tends to manifest as people looking crazy while it acclimatises. If I remember correctly Dominic's mother is blackmailing the Dream Eaters to work for her in return for returning to their original minds. I can't quite remember but it sounds familiar to me. It was a few years ago now. sweatdrop

Sweet heavens, I had nearly forgotten all those ideas, but it is returning to me now. I believe you are right about the Dream Eaters and the whole Dream Catcher corp. Yes, there was definitely a sinister plot with Dominic’s mother that would end up in some sort of confrontation. Though I can’t remember what was the truth or revelation behind Lilli. Though, I’ve got to admit this is an awesome plot! xD After I finish my errands, I’ll go dig through my old notes to see if I can recover any more information.
In the meantime, did you want to pick up where we left off in the old guild thread?

I believe the Dream Eater was deliberately sent to recruit Lillian by orchestrating a case for Dominic to latch onto. Yeah I think picking up where we left off in the guild thread would be a good idea. Which characters do you want to bring across to the new thread? I'm happy to do Lilli and Loretta. I presume you'd do Dominic and Aisha again. I can maybe take another one or two characters at the most before it'd start to spread out a bit too much. Should we start a new thread and just copy over what we need?

Will we pick up right where it left off with them fighting the Dream Eater? We could start again from the beginning to better explain the dynamics of the smaller team or we can just skip ahead.
