Quote:
- It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some eggs. Some untainted, un-miasma fused precious wyvern eggs from an exotic wyvern couple that sadly passed away. You must scale a very high mountain in order to get these eggs.

- Your character is dropped off at the base of the mountain. The goal is to climb the mountain and get the egg. To scale the mountain, you must write a jaunty 250 word post of your character scaling the mountain. You can do this as you please, there are plenty of angry nesting minipets, boulders, and possibly giant serpents blocking your way. As you reach the top, obtain the egg, and you are ready to begin your descent.

- Every single creature possible, especially rolling sand lobsters, will try to destroy your egg. Roll 1d4 four times and match your dice roll to the prompt below to reach the bottom of the mountain. Yes, repeats do happen if you roll a repeat. Your egg has 10 HP. If you make it down without the egg reaching 0 HP (breaking) you made it!

1) A sand lobster rolls right into your egg and nearly breaks it! -2 HP
2) Strange velociraptor minipets are hungrily staring at your egg. They try to attack it! -1 HP
3) A giant snake smacks you with its giant tail. Ouch! -3 HP
4) Nothing happens. You were lucky!

gaia_star If you successfully get an egg to safety, you get herbivore egg. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

This place was full of s**t. Who lived in a jackdamned village covered in this much fog? If he ever woke up and Halloween Town looked like this he would take a blowtorch to it. All of Levi's crops, all the crap they'd worked to pay for, gone with no regrets. It reminded him of that misty island from forever ago, and none of that ******** had ended well. West was sure this wouldn't either.

He stomped through the sand choked grass just to hear himself move, unknowingly edging closer and closer to a large mountain. So angry and preoccupied with anger was he that the demon nearly crashed headlong into it, but before he was given the gift of reckless, self-inflicted unconsciousness, he was confronted by a small handful of hooded figures reminiscent of the ones back in town.

"What d'you want? Came t'tell me I can't be here?"

"Quite the opposite, sir. We would like you to obtain something from the mountain's peak, something that you may keep if you retrieve it safely. We would go ourselves, but we lack the skill to acquire it. As for why we are not demanding that you give it to us upon your return... let us say that it is not that kind of item. It matters not who has the egg, just that someone does."

West narrowed his eyes. These guys were a lot more coherent than those other shits in town. He didn't much care about eggs on an average day, but today he was stranded in some black and white village somewhere with nothing to do.

"Fine. Show me to yer egg."

They hadn't told him not to fly, so he did, all the way up the mountain. West landed with a whoosh of air, already scanning for an egg, a search technique that was soon expanded to kicking at brush, rocks, and leaves until he made a discovery. Once he had shaken it and listened to it and was sure the thing was an egg, West jogged to the edge, jumped off of the mountain, and began his floating descent.

Being a graduate of Amityville, the demon was no stranger to things going wrong at the drop of a hat, so when the sand lobster leaped out of a crack in the mountain's side and latched onto his left wing, West dissipated those wings, sending him and his egg plummeting to the mountain's rocky face. The lobster squealed as it fell to its death and the egg only came out slightly worse for wear.

The next stretch of the mountain was quiet, as it should be.

Before long the silence was broken by another screeching lobster, this one solely intent on the egg. West punched the thing away prior to it doing any damage, and was surprised to find the ground beneath his feet soon after.

"That was it?" he snarked at the first hooded figure he saw. "I could do that s**t all day."
