Your character has been invited by a villager to harvest on top of the remote glacier infringing on the northern outskirts of the village. What an honour!
- The walk is very steep and treacherous. You are allowed to harvest as much as you'd like until you slip and fall down the glacier all the way back to town (must remake thread). This quest is only considered completed if you get the rare machalite ore.
Roll 1d6 and continue rolling until you slip and fall back to town OR get the machalite ore. Really, whatever comes first. Make sure to rp it out.
1. You spot some beautiful crystal fragments. You manage to get the machalite ore! 2. You get distracted by a pile of bones and gather some bone fragments that are ultimately useless because you're not a gunner 3. You get distracted by some honey. It is delicious. 4. You get distracted by a pile of herbs. You pick some herbs and ask the villager what they are. He says "herbs". They are barely edible. 5. You accidentally slip and fall back to town! Oh no! (Quest fail!) 6. You find a great spot to fish but you didn't bring your fishing rod.

With a pick in hand, he was confused as to why he was harvesting a glacier for an ore... Perhaps the villager had meant that he had to dig through the glacier's ice caps to get to the solid rock below to find the ore... But how important was this ore exactly that they were just going to have visitors - individuals without any connection to the Miasma Village - harvest a very rare, very expensive object such as the malachite ore? If he was morally wrong, he could pocket it, said he never found it, and sell it for personal gain.
However, that was far too demon-like than he would prefer. No, he had to set an example for himself, for Brenna, and for any other demon out there who didn't feel comfortable fitting into the demon stereotype.
With the pick axe over his shoulder, he scaled up the glacier at the northern side of the village. Something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. And his nose. Sniffing around, uru stumbled upon a small pot of honey. "What's this doing up here?..." He wondered. He spared it a thought before pushing onward.

Uru picked at a few spots before a familiar smell got his nose again. Pausing, he sniffed around and found yet another cache of honey. Curious, he gave this one a taste. Unsanitary as it was to use unclean fingers... but this was the second pot he had stumbled upon. And it was delicious. "Who leaves these around? Especially on a glacier?" He wondered to no one in particular as he hefted the tool over his shoulder and made his way around the ice cap.
Uru took a brief break, nibbling on ice chips. That he picked. Off the glacier. Resourceful.

"Another one?" He murmured as he nearly stepped in this particular cache of honey. He made a mental map of this one and its location to the other two he had passed previously.

Uru rounded a corner after having scaled down the side of the glacier a ways and found an outcropping. The landing here overlooked the island's side with a rather calm ocean below. It would make a quiet and secluded fishing spot. Too bad he had left his whale fin fishing rod with Brenna at the village.

Continuing his path from the fishing spot outcropping, he found another honey pot, this one wedged into the side of the glacier, frozen beneath a good layer of ice. He eyed it carefully. Very well preserved, but how long had it been there?...

Uru picked at spaces every twenty or so steps, spent a good few minutes at it before moving on. This time, he found another honey cache. This one was nearly empty... Was whoever leaving these here feeding something or was it feeding itself? Perhaps it was a minipet that was leaving these behind to find later.
if that was the case... was this glacier its territory?

Another honey pot. It was forty steps from the previous one he had found.... and it was eighty steps from the one before that. So are these spaced at forty steps each?...

The demon hound found himself resting again. The ice was slippery and his fingers were wet from bracing himself. He found another quiet fishing spot to rest at though.

The fishing spot seemed to be quite wide. Still, he picked away where he could, making the area more of a cove than a ledge.

Another one... this one was almost a hundred steps since the last pot. Uru glanced over his shoulder, imagining the path he took. Looking around, perhaps there was a way to be forty steps from the previous pot...

"Fifty-six steps." He counted as he picked up the pot. This one was full and untouched. The surface was smooth as could be. That was until he had picked it up. It was also a perfect place to mine a bit.

Whilst mining, something green fell from the glacier. It was the ore!
Perhaps he'll never find out what was leaving all the honey pots around the glacier...
