Quote:
- It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some eggs. Some untainted, un-miasma fused precious wyvern eggs from an exotic wyvern couple that sadly passed away. You must scale a very high mountain in order to get these eggs.

- Your character is dropped off at the base of the mountain. The goal is to climb the mountain and get the egg. To scale the mountain, you must write a jaunty 250 word post of your character scaling the mountain. You can do this as you please, there are plenty of angry nesting minipets, boulders, and possibly giant serpents blocking your way. As you reach the top, obtain the egg, and you are ready to begin your descent.

- Every single creature possible, especially rolling sand lobsters, will try to destroy your egg. Roll 1d4 four times and match your dice roll to the prompt below to reach the bottom of the mountain. Yes, repeats do happen if you roll a repeat. Your egg has 10 HP. If you make it down without the egg reaching 0 HP (breaking) you made it!

1) A sand lobster rolls right into your egg and nearly breaks it! -2 HP
2) Strange velociraptor minipets are hungrily staring at your egg. They try to attack it! -1 HP
3) A giant snake smacks you with its giant tail. Ouch! -3 HP
4) Nothing happens. You were lucky!

gaia_star If you successfully get an egg to safety, you get herbivore egg. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list.

Helping out the villagers proved more tedious to Sayael than the sugar faerie originally thought, and she soon found herself scaling a cliff wall, unknowingly taking much longer than her redheaded brother to climb up the thing. Although, in all honesty... she'd taken this trip for a vacation of sorts, not realizing the work that entailed helping out the villagers.

She was taking her sweet time in actually scaling the cliffside, putting down her foot carefully and making sure she didn't injure her skin or anything important. She also had to maneuver for her branches and make damn well sure they didn't get caught on any rocks that jutted out. Unfortunately, her only misery was being covered in sweat, and once she flopped off of the cliff onto the flat top of the mountain, the sugar faerie was about ready to rip someone's face off.

Heaving in and out to catch her breath, Saya crawled forward and instantly saw the eggs within reach, reaching out and touching them just to make sure they were real.

Yes. They were real.

Glancing to her left revealed strange velociraptor pets who were eyeing the egg, and one of them had the gall to actually attack the thing. This made her Very Unhappy, and with strength she didn't realize she had, the faerie stood up and kicked at one of them with her foot, sending it sprawling to the ground in surprise.

It didn't damage the egg too much, but she had stunned it for just enough time to pick up the egg and make her way back down the cliff face, having an easier time of it than she had before.

When she reached the bottom, Saya jerked as a sand lobster ricocheted into her egg. Gnashing her teeth at the thing, she pulled the egg away and ran as daintily as she could allow, glancing to her left to see that not only was the sand lobster tailing her, but so were the same velociraptors that had attempted to get the egg earlier.

"You've got to be jackin' kidding me." She muttered, twitching as one of the velociraptors slid their talons against the egg and fell back, unable to keep up with her pace.

She kept running for a fair bit, slowing when she got tired and turning around completely to try to defend the egg a bit more... only to find that there was nothing there. Saya had outran all of them, and found that the egg was still in fairly good condition.

The sugar faerie was rather proud of herself - and well out of breath - as she set down the egg in front of approaching villagers, giving a nod to them to silently tell them that yes, they could take the egg that she had rescued all by her lonesome self, and yes, she was rather proud of that fact.

They didn't say much, however, staring at her with eyes that seemed to hold no emotion, though a flicker of curiosity was seen in a few of them.

Sighing and realizing that she wasn't going to get much thanks out of these creeple, the faerie raised her gloved hand and gave them a wave, turning to leave and take a break from all of this nonsense. Honestly, a little thanks would go a long way with doing errands for these silly villagers, but after a moment she realized that the students probably looked as strange to them as the villagers looked to the students.

Holding back a snort of amusement, Sayael rolled her shoulders back to relieve tension, and left for another errand.
