Dekana had been here before and after the village had found he'd broken his Wyvern egg, they'd told him to go get another one or suffer the wrath. The wrath of what, he wasn't sure, but go he did.

The climb was swift and familiar this time, the landscape somehow more welcoming. It was arduous, yes, but it didn't take nearly as long now that he knew the way.
Thankfully no Sand Crabs were waiting at the top, just a giant snake that hissed at him and slithered off when hollered and made a racket.
The eggs must had had siblings nearby as a baby wyvern was scratching and pushing and generally harrying him on the way down. Unpleasant, but he knew the solution to this as well!
With a good boot, he sent the baby wyvern flying over the edge.

The Sand Crabs were waiting in the forest this time, the scar of where the Sand Whale had surface full of strange minipets scrounging around the broken soil. The crabs, however, took interest in him and Dekana had to play a bit of soccer to get them to stop.
He and these Sand Crabs had a history, it seemed, as a few of them were waiting for him in the base camp. It took everything he had not to smash the egg while fending off the crabs who were bound and determined to take his egg away from him.
In the end, however, Dekana succeed and had another Wyvern Egg!
