Are you ready for chaos? Mayhem? No? WELL GOOD. It is time for the FINAL TEST OF YOUR PROOF AS A VILLAGER EGGSTRACTOR.

- On top of the highest hill through the highest mountain peak is the rarest of eggs, the Giant Snake egg. If you bring this home, then you have proven your worth as the greatest eggstractor of them all.

Step 1: Climb the mountain
- You're already used to this part. Get going! Climb up that mountain and see what you're made of. Oh wait, right, we forgot to mention. The reason why you need a wyvern egg is you have to replace that egg with the Giant Snake Egg you need to get. That way the parent giant snake doesn't notice!

- As you climb the mountain, roll 1d4. Match your dice roll to the result below.

1: You break your wyvern egg! Sorry, you have to obtain another one..
2. You manage to climb with relative ease. Something watches you in the distance.
3. You trip and stumble but save your egg! -10 HP for your character
4. You accidentally stumble into a giant cloud of miasma! Add +5 to your miasma meter.

Step 2: Replacing the egg

Finally you reach the base of the mountain with a 400 foot giant snake guarding its pile of eggs in the center. You must slowly sneak and take the Giant Snake egg, replacing it with the wyvern one. Roll 1d100 to see how quiet you were. If you roll 30 or less, you get eaten. You die and dissipate back to base camp. The good news is you still have your wyvern egg (must start quest again). Otherwise, continue onwards.

Step 3: New egg friend and you

At this point you no longer have your wyvern egg. You only have this Giant Snake Egg. So that means if you destroy your giant snake egg on the way back, you have to obtain a new wyvern egg from the previous eggstraction quest. The giant snake egg has 10 HP.

A pair of very hungry velicoraptor-like creatures seem to have found you and follow the egg hungrily! They have 10 HP. You only need to defeat one to move on (per group!) Every time you or ANYONE in the group rolls double dice (1, 1, 2, 2, etc) you take -2 damage to your egg, otherwise it takes no damage.

At the very end where the base camp is, there is a giant waterfall. You have no choice, you have to jump down! Roll 1d6 to see how much damage your egg takes. Good luck!

If your egg somehow survives, you have DONE IT. Go ahead and collect your prize and drop it off in this thread!

Rarity: Rare
Size: 25 feet long (baby snek!)
Weight capacity: 2 people max. (No mount/natural forms it gets skittish)
Special ability: Is excellent at making impromptu bridges and shelter from cold areas. Sheds rainbow-coloured skin that can be used as waterproof wear. Has impeccable memory - as long as it has been to a place, it knows how to get there.
Flying: Cannot fly.
Teleportation: Teleports from Miasma Village to Halloween Town only (and vice versa)
Temper: Extremely shy. Does not go indoors. Only likes large areas. Will escape through any given opening if the area is smaller than it is.

As much as Silanna was wanting to get within the good graces of these villagers, they sure were asking for a lot. And the title 'Eggstractor' didn't sound all that great either. She wasn't in this for titles. She would like to be able to do these tasks with a larger goal in mind, like for her to understand this place more and to understand the thick fog shrouding such a place.

And the fact that they seemed to have the oddest creeple she's ever come across.

But here she as, again, climbing another mountain but this time without her fun, riddle-telling feline friend, Carlos. She did hope he was alright. He was a spirit but she still worried. Maybe she could meet up with him again and see how he's been doing and ask for another riddle. Yeah, that sounded fun. She smiled to herself as she stuck her stake into the side of the mountain, making her way up higher and higher.

Her Wyvern egg was snug and secure in her pocket, thankfully. There was no way she could climb and hold the egg at the same time... Well, if she had extra arms like Carlos, probably... But, goodness, that'd look strange on her. A four-armed shaman? Hah! What a thought!

And what a thought it was, if it managed for her to miss her next ledge grasping. A blink later and she was rolling down to the last ledge she had climbed over not too long ago. Silannas gasped as, mid-air, her egg fell out from between the flap of her bag and it's little nest at her side. With her free hand, she grasped the egg and held it close to her chest.

A few more moments of tumbling down and rocks bruising her arms and legs, she came to a stop on a ledge.

Ooo... She was going to feel those for a while. At least the egg was safe in her arms. "Sorry about that bumpy ride there... Ow..."

After situating the wyvern egg back into her side satchel, she had proceeded to make her way up to the tippy-top of the mountain. The air was so thin she had to track her breathing just to keep herself from collapsing. And after scaling a large mountain, it was a feat all in it's own.

Silannas, bent over in trying to catch her breathe, saw her goal ahead of her.

A rather large serpent was slumbering with their nest of eggs. Well, no wonder no one had dared get near this place. This beast was huge! And those eggs were no joke!

The shaman took a deep breath and steeled herself for her next feat. She had blinked at the villagers when they had told her what she needed to do, exactly. After retrieving the egg from her side bag, she bobbed the egg in her hand to feel the weight as she slowly rounded the serpent.

She was incredibly grateful to her father for having showed her how to make the shoes she was wearing as they were perfect for sneaking about. The soft leather and spongy material of the heel didn't give away her position at all.

Her slender fingers grasped the egg at the top of the pile that the snake was circled around, leaning ever so slightly against the beast but not too fast so as to wake it. A slow bringing of the giant snake egg to her bosom and then a just as slowly laying of the wyvern egg and she was good!

Yes! She was the sneakiest shaman alive!

Now...

Now she just needed to make it down. The egg was in no way going to fit in her satchel so she was going to have to rely on her stake-wielding hand to help her get down while the other arm cradled the egg.

And... Now said stake-hand was going to have to help her out with fending off this... strange creature. A sort of reptile?

Silannas started off with a quick kick to send it down. Just in the direction she was heading... Great.

The next kick didn't meet it's mark.

"Come on! There are plenty of other ones up there! Go for those!" Well, she was well aware of why this little thing was going after her. She was some huge serpent with a gaping jaw that could swallow it whole.

As she slide down to the nearest ledge, she took the blunter end of her stake and whacked the reptile-like creature away from her. That'd teach it for going for the easy way for a meal!

Her limbs were starting to ache from the amount of pressure she was putting on her knees and it wasn't helping her in keeping this little beast away from her prize. There was no way she was going to give up this egg! No way, no how!

Another kick and a miss as the small thing was starting to learn her tactics. Great, the thing was learning.

And what came with learning was starting to work against her. The small velicoraptor leaped and landed it's talons right across the top of the egg. Silannas grit her jaw before pulling the egg closer to herself.

"No way! Off with you!"

The creature wasn't going to give up! Another leap and it landed another few talon scraps against the egg.

Okay. She worked hard for this egg and this little thing was not going to take it from her!

With a quick flick of her wrist, she shoved her stake in between her belt and hip and brought her now free hand back. Her fist flew forward and made a hit against the velicoraptor's head. "I told you! This is mine! Back off!" She felt bad for it but she was tired, aching and she had earned this prize.

Grabbing her stake once more, while the creature was regaining it's own footing, she starting sliding back down the mountain.

Getting down to the second to last ledge before the ground level of the mountain, the reptile leaped once more. Luckily, Silannas caught the movement out of the corner of her eye and she brought her stake across in a single twirl, catching the creature and flinging it to the farthest area of the ledge.

This thing had tons of spunk, that was one thing Silannas would admit.

It leaped back to it's feet and charged at her, it's teeth nearly grasping the egg from her arm before Silannas pursed her lips together and headbutted the creature. "No means no!"

Both of the tired and bruised, the creature made one more attempt, if it could have even been called that. It leapt at her with what she figured was the last of it's strength before Sil raised her knee and kicked it back. Such a kick landed it straight onto it's back and it seemed to stay there.

"Okay, now... Stay!" She pointed the coyote-headed end at it before sliding down to the last ledge.

Now... After landing upon the last ledge, she would need leap from the ledge and down the waterfall.

The shaman hoped she had enough power in her legs to help her swim once the time came. And with one last deep breath, she sheathed her stake in her belt, hugged her egg and jumped over the edge. A common tactic for diving was to cross your legs at the ankle.

She liked to think it helped as the water hit her like a wall. Liquid filled her ears and she blew the air she had been holding out her nose before kicking her legs to get her back to the surface.

With a loud gasp, she breached the surface of the water, egg still intact, if not a bit bruised in it's own rights.

"We made it... Yyyaayy." By Jack, she was tired now.

But she had succeeded.
