[The man who can kick the sky] As Up In The Air by 30 Seconds to Mars starts playing, the arena becomes slightly darker and the projection of a night sky appears on the stage ramp. Oh oh oh oh oh, Whoa
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh, Whoa
Oh oh oh oh oh From there, Ryan Finn makes his way out of the curtain. He stops in front of the ramp and points to the sky with his finger. He traces a giant circle with his finger and comes back to his original position. From there, he waits a second before delivering a kick in the middle of that imaginary circle. I've been up in the air

Is this the end I feel.Ryan walks on the ramp, creating the illusion that he’s walking in space, which kind of fits with his nickname of “the man who can kick the sky”. Is this the end?Ryan stops in front of the ring, taking his jacket off and throwing it up in the air. I'll wrap my hands around your neck
So tight with love, love As he threw his jacket, he slid inside the ring, obviously wanting to get there before his jacket even hit the ground. He runs to the side of the ring and jumps on the ropes. A thousand times I've tempted fate.

A thousand times that I have said today, today, todayHe raises his finger in the air and does the same circular motion he did at the beginning. He jumps off the ropes and goes to the other side, where he does the exact same thing. From there, he goes to his corner, getting prepared for a fight! [RYAN FINN]

Just as Finn's music fades out, slow methodically played drums start up. About twenty seconds of the drums leads up to the Japanese instrumentals playing. Just as that starts, Jamie Hedro slowly walks out of the curtain, his head tilted down, his eyes focused on the ring. The fans start to boo him once he was stopped in front of the ramp. He stretches his arms out before pushing them forward into a "praying" motion, bowing his head before starting his walk. Throughout this walk, the jeering from the audience was pointed right towards him. The Texas crowd seemed meaner than usual to the Asian man, plenty of "fried rice" and "chop sticks" jokes pointed towards him. To this, Hedro stopped mid ramp, and looked at both sides of the crowd. He took a moment then to spit at both sides before continuing his walk, riling up the crowd a little more. Announcer: His opponent: from Tokyo, Japan; weighing 182 pounds.....Jamie Hedroooooooooo! Hedro once was at the bottom of the ramp, he ran to slide into the ring head first, and proceeded to front flip to his feet. Once he got to his feet, he was focused right at Ryan Finn, starting to maneuver around, as if he was ready for the match to begin right there and then. Absolutely nothing was done that Hedro would've done weeks ago, really he was focused on the man he was staring down than the town he was in. The only thing Hedro did was again push his hands together in a praying position, before sliding them away and putting himself into a slightly crouched stance.

Here we go, first match of the first night! The man who can kick the sky vs The man who never punches. What a way to kickoff a show!
No pun intended.
... Okay, maybe a little.
Anyways, Ryan circled around the ring, feeling the little breeze in his hair, and he was ready to go! First things first, let's offer to start in a more conventional way with a lock-up!

Jamie Hedro, was The Man that Never Punches, that took extreme exception towards the fact that Finn calls himself "The Man Who Can Kick the Sky." To Hedro, he was the man who throws the kicks around here.
Hedro circled the ring, sizing Ryan up. He saw that Ryan had his hands up for a Lock Up, but instead of accepting, Hedro went to strike Ryan in the leg with a Quick Side Kick.

Ryan received the kick to the leg from Hedro. His reaction was to step back and shake his leg a little bit. Alright, seems like he wants to go for a few strikes. Ryan would try to answer to his kick with a kick of his own to the side, just slightly higher, a little below the hip.

Hedro was caught, the kick to the really high part of the leg connected, a weird spot to be kicked but seems to take it's toll. Hedro turned his body with the kick, and hopped as well, trying to get nerves to react. Hedro would try to get his back in, this time with a side kick a bit higher, to the side of Finn's body.

Ryan was hit to the side by Hedro's kick. He stepped sideways under the impact, and then rubbed his ribs briefly before continuing the escalation, this time by going for a front kick directly to the chest.

Jamie Hedro took the kick to the chest, and stumbled back into the ropes. He bounced back, looking to spin and catch Ryan with a Spin Back Kick to his knee!
To which Hedro would look to turn it into a combo, by attempting a back flip Pele Kick!
