Wyvernians are have an elaborate tattoo etched onto their body just after birth. Too complex to be replicated by hand or copied with magic, this tattoo prevents Wyvernians from truly falling in love or having a child with another person, unless they have the same magic tattoo on their body. Know as being 'Heartsworn', this is the reason that the Wyvernian population is now so low, but is carried on to preserve tradition.

☆ RACE/ETHNICITY 》 Wyvernian- A race of humanoids thought to predate humans, Wyverians look like normal humans except most stand at 7 feet tall or taller and possess pointed ears which are larger than humans ears. Ancient Wyvernians are said to have been tall and strong enough to have fought mythical beasts, such as dragons, with their bare hands and were thought to have shaped the worlds mountains and valleys with their sword swings. While it is unknown how true these stories are, modern Wyvernians all posses levels of strength that only the most well trained humans can match.
Now very few in number due to being unable to reproduce quickly, Wyvernians are by no means immortal, but do live very long lives, living more than two times a humans lifespan, with the oldest recorded to around 200 years of age, though this is unconfirmed. It is rumoured that Wyvernians are the race that taught humans how to forge weapons and how to use magic, two things that this race excel at.
Wyvernians are nomadic loners in this day and age, occasionally found in places where humans fear to set foot, drawing new maps of the world, learning about flora and fauna and developing new materials and techniques to forge weapons with.

⇨ A pleasant mannered man, always full of smiles. A patient and wise teacher, he enjoys nothing more than seeing his student using the skills he teaches to them. Proud of his heritage, he's always willing to tell people the history of his race if they're willing to listen. Very difficult to anger, but dangerous when he is.
While he has lived among humans for several years, he is still learning the cultural differences between the two races, for example, Wyvernians are always honest when making equipment for another, however human females find it rude when you mention that you have to change a design on account of how large or small their bust and waist is. He's still in the process of leaning about humans as a race.

⇨ Weapon summoning: allows Ternis to summon the six weapons that he is most proud of creating, no matter where he is, with a short incantation. He can only have one weapon equipped at a time:
> Ignis Edges: Twin swords imbued with the power of fire. Summoned with the incantation "Burn all sins to ashes". When swung, the Ignis Edges produce an incredibly hot flame that can melt all but the strongest materials, even burning away some weak types of magic.
> Aquas Lament: A sword imbued with the power of water. Summoned with the incantation "Purify with crashing waves". The blade of this weapon in capable of turning into a high power jet of water, capable of hitting enemies at range.
> Gust Ender: A bow imbued with the power of the wind. Summoned with the incantation "Pierce and howl". When an arrow is loosed from the bow, it accelerates to an incredibly high speed, being able to pierce through concrete at max speed.
> God Hand Gauntlets: A pair of gauntlets imbued with the power of earth. Summoned with the phrase "Crush all to dust". Increases the wearers arm strength drastically, making it easy for them to shatter the earth with a single punch.
> Heavens Ward: A scythe imbued with the power of light. Summoned with the phrase "Cast away the shadows". Enables the user to see through illusions. Any creatures of darkness find it painful to be in the mere presence of this weapon.
>Whispers Edge: A dagger imbued with the power of shadow. Summoned with the phrase "Whisper in the shadows". When the blade cuts an enemy, they lose a memory of the wielders choosing, this effect lasts until the wound inflicted by this weapon heals.
⇨Telepathy: Ternis possesses the ability to enter into other peoples minds to communicate with them or discern what they are thinking. Useful when in need of a private conversation. While potentially powerful while in combat, this connection is two way, if someone is aware that Ternis is reading their thoughts they can read his in return.

☆ HISTORY 》
⇨ Ternis was born into what is considered a normal Wyvernian family, a mother and a father, being taught magic and combat from a young age. After reaching maturity in his teenage years, the young Wyvernian set out into the world, to make his own discoveries and to find the one he was destined to meet.
A few years into his travels Ternis heard of an academy that housed beings like him, Ternis headed there post-haste and has remained there ever since as a teacher of engineering and blacksmithing.
