The local dragonseer (that's a fancy word for someone who rides on a balloon and stares at the fog from above) wants your help in locating potential signs of danger and sand whales. You are to ride the balloon up and take a look.

You must first assemble the balloon. Pick any two items from the list below to make the basket of your balloon out of. Rp accordingly:

- Snake leather
- Thick rope
- Flaming carpet
- A basket of foxfires
- A white cloth
- Carved sand whale bone
- A net
- A table
- A door
- Five golden rings
- A pine tree
- A trash can
- A really really really really big bottle

- Next, to ascend, roll 1d100. This is the number of feet that your balloon launches to the sky. If you roll a 1.. you kind of suck. Maybe you're really bad with balloons. Maybe youre too heavy. Maybe your buddy should get off. Who knows.

If your character is lucky and manages to roll above 50 feet, they will get to see the town below them. You notice that the town is shaped like an S. You can also see clearly the town below you.

If your character rolls above 80 feet, you end up going too high into the highest miasma clouds. The thin air makes exposure to miasma easily and you gain +5 miasma.

As long as you roll over 50 feet you succeed in this venture.

Spinar wasn't even sure how he had would up here but here he was looking up at the sky and blinking. He was to make a balloon and look at fog? No wait look for danger in the fog? The details were still a little fuzzy but more and more Spinar was finding himself relaxing in being here. It was almost like an amusement park, you had the gruff workers (a.k.a the villagers) and the the rides, or rather attractions of helping kill turkeys and fight off sand whales. It was a little bit of a blast if he did say so himself. As the local dragonseer finally shut up Spinar moved towards the supplies that were laid out. Examining them all and rubbing his head. He had never made a balloon before but there was no better time than the current to try?

Kneeling down to the ground he started to rummage through the things. Looking here and there and then picking up a really really really really big bottle. Big enough for him to fit inside which he promptly did the other item he had picked up was a white cloth because why not? Holding the cloth up he waited for the dragonseer to do what he needed to do.

This is an additional mechanic to everything else. The more miasma your character accumulates the more chances they will go crazy. This will affect your RP. The rate you accumulate Miasma is dependent on the faction of your character. Refer to the MIASMA INFO in the main info thread for more information on this.

Students: Every time you gain Miasma, multiply it by x2. So, in a prompt if you gain +2 miasma, it is actually +4 for you.

Any EVENT ITEMS obtained. They can only be obtained in GM ORPS OR QUEST PROMPTS and are specifically called event items. Just list them here and a link to where obtained. (Ie: Flashlight, etc etc)

And he waited and waited, and waited inside the really really really big bottle with the makeshift white cloth top . This balloon was hideous. Luckily for Spinar he wouldn't have to be seen in it because it wasn't going to fly. The bad news delivered with a laugh from the dragonseerer and the frost demon hopped from the bottle and promptly kicked it over. "This village blows." And it so did. There weren't any decent suckers and of those that were they were hiding. Grouchy and starting to get rather hungry, thanks to a signal of a stomach growl the boil started off. Looking and maybe just maybe sniffing at the air from time to time as he went for something to eat.

A pull of his phone and it was yet another horrific discovery, no service. Which was stupid and yet expected. "How shocking..." He muttered to himself then proceeded to curse under breath. Walking the fog only seemed to thicken before he turned back and tried to find his way back to the bus wreckage. They had to have someone out here by now right? Why was it so windy all of a sudden as well? What in Jack's name was going on in this nightmare of a town!?

It was only after he stopped walking and realized he was yet again at the lake that Spinar wished for another sand whale. Figuring he might be able to harness it and ride it all the way back to Amity. Whichever way Amity was from here. A sigh and the boil flopped down, looking down into the water and watching the fish as they swam pass. There was only fish. Fish and his hunger after a few moments. The demon hated himself for even thinking about freezing one and eating it but it was the only thing around at the moment and fire really wasn't his thing. Which was obvious if you had seen the poor attempt at cooking turkey he had done earlier.

A push up from the ground and Spinar found a stick, a stick that was plunged deep into the side of a fish after the tenth try. Wet but satisfied the demon curled his fingers around the fish and froze it via natural ability. Watching as the life filled eyes slowly dimmed and glossed over with ice. A smirk and the head was bitten clean off.

At least he wasn't hungry anymore.
