If there was one thing Silannas could say Carlos was incredibly good at, it was getting people to let him do what he wants. Not a bad trait when used right. And it was! He seemed to be following around several villagers that had mentioned that they needed some kind of eggs for something. Didn't really matter. Maybe if they, per verbally, scratched their backs, they would scratch theirs in the reward of answers about this place.

After being lead to the base of a mountain, it seemed their goal was somewhere near the top. Well, this was going to be quite the exercise. As she squinted at the top, she could feel the familiar floating touch of her companion. She blinked before looking down at Carlos then back up.

That was a bit of a climb. Silannas had scaled similar earthly structures so this wasn't unusual. Steep but not unusual.

"I'll be going up with you so no worries, Carlos." She gave the feline a few pats before squinting with a frown at the villager that glared their way. She wasn't about to put of with that again.

"You want them eggs or not! You try getting up there!" They had probably tried, seeing as they needed their help. The villager ceased his glare and turned his head away in a light huff. Sil rolled her eyes before making her way up with Carlos.

"Don't you worry. They're pretty mean in general. Just focus on getting those eggs and then we'll see if they change their tune then." She had a very little faith in them doing so but she could have a little smidge of hope.

The shaman tried her hardest to keep up with the feline specter. It didn't help that he was so small so jumping and quick movements were easy for him. A few times she resorted to using her stake as a anchor point in the rocks to ensure herself from falling backwards and losing all the progress she had made.

"Wait up, Carlos. I can only climb so fast." She looked up and saw Carlos was fairly close to the top, leaping from rock to rock. She sighed and blew a stray bit of her bangs from her face. She was thankful to have so much patience and that she liked this particular spirit.

But he was very resourceful. She quickly learned that his ears flattening mean't something bad. Good to know as it also seemed he had found a way around and up to the mountain from something he had seen. They continued in the direction and made it up to their destination.

And those eggs sure were... Interesting. Purple with light bumps along the surface but if those villagers needed it, they would get it. Mostly prove that they could do such a job and be trustworthy of such a job. She pocketed one of the eggs into side satchel before giving a little thumbs up to Carlos. "See? We can do this!"

The way down had seemed to have been FAR easier. A few strange creatures here or there that wanted to chop on her satchel but instead ended up on giving her several scratches on her arms and legs.

The giant serpent's tail wasn't great either with having smacked her pretty hard and nearly sending her cascading down to the base of the mountain in a less than graceful way but she had manged to reach the bottom all the same. She retrieved the egg from it's safe spot at her side and handed it over. "See? Here's your egg."

The villager snatched the egg and ogled it while gently caressing it. Whatever floated their boat, she supposed.

Sil turned to Carlos and quickly ruffled his hair before petting out the hair floof she had made. "We did good! Good job, Carlos."

"Now, lemme see how you are. You got a bit of a beating from that snake up there." She had too but she'd worry about that later. Even with Carlos being the Chesire spirit he was, pain was a relative thing and she wanted to be sure that he was going to be alright.

And what a resilient creature he was! She sifted through his hair, checked his ears and skimmed his face and tail, politely keeping physically away from said appendage. "You are a tough one, aren't you?" She absent-mindedly stated before giving another pat to his head.
