Xander needed to get Ian to the hospital quickly because they needed to move as quickly as they could to save his sister. He was very happy they were all on board to help and there little planning session went very well. He had told Dessie for once that she needed to meet him for patrolling tonight and he would likely see Chaldene would come as well. He was going to talk about Phact about helping to make a distraction and possibly Acrucis as well. Neither, he thought, in civilian form would go amiss in the hospital. It was the last bit of the plan just make sure Lily could be snuck out.

It was imperative that none of them go caught, so Xander needed to be very careful about how and where he did things. He could lose his license for all other his, but it would be worth it so long as his sister was safe.

“Come on Ian,” we should go now when the hospital is the least busy. As soon as the sun sets the hospital will start to fill up more.”

Looking up from his computer he tilted his head. “Should I bring my laptop?” He asked the other as he stood up from where he’d been curled into his computer chair at his desk. Since moving in he had saved enough money in order to purchase a laptop so he could type up notes in his classes, and apparently take it with him to do hacking and other things. He could use it to try and break into their system from the hospital itself, use their own wifi perhaps and get a look at things.

“Are we doing everything tonight? Getting her out?” He asked while moving to his closet to grab a hoodie which he pulled on over his head and stuffed his hands into the pockets while waiting or the others answer.

Xander nodded and Ian, “bring whatever you think you need. We might be there for a while and if push comes to shove and you need more time you can go sit with Lily.” He turned and went to grab his jacket and key but caught Ian’s words as he walked off.

“As much as I would love that, it will probably take until tomorrow at the earliest to get everything properly organized and most will not get their letters until they power up. Hopefully if we are lucky it everyone will get them tonight. So we need to aim for tomorrow and try for absolutely no longer than two days,” he said stopping in the hall before continuing on.

“We’re going to fix this,” he said to himself in barely a whisper.

Nodding his head he went to grab his laptop, which had been laying on his bed, and shoved it into the case he had for it. “Alright.” Slinging the strap over his shoulder he glanced over the other. “I hope everyone powers up as well, no telling how many people we’ll need when all is said and done.” They had to go to Maia and do who knows what, ace who knew what, and they might just need a lot of people for whatever confrontation would take place.
“Don’t worry Xander, we’ll save your sister.” He was sure of that. If nothing else he was sure of that, and his computer skills.

Xander reached out and fluffed Ian’s hair and smiled. In the time since he became a knight he’d gained some really amazing friends. One’s he felt her would do anything for and one’s who proved they were there for him. He couldn’t imagine going back to the man he had been, shut up and stirring away from all companionship. Friends made his life so much better even in, especially in this time of crisis.

“So once we get the hospital, where exactly do you need to be and for how long? I need to make sure I can get you the time you need to do what you have to do. Afterwards we need to get to the park. I will probably start receiving letters and I want to meet up with Phact if I can.”

All this was said as he grabbed his keys and hospital ID badge, then headed out the door to the car. He was wasting no time making sure this came together.

“I can work from anywhere. Though somewhere without cameras to see me on my laptop would be best, I don’t want them to see me working on things, especially if somehow they notice something going on.” He stated while looking at the other. Biting his bottom lip he finally answered the other part of the others question. “i don’t know how long I’ll need. It shouldn’t be too long, but I’ve no way to tell. Either way it’ll give me some of the info I need.” how good their computer network security was, or wasn’t. That would allow him to better hack things when he had to and it counted.

“Do you want me to come with you to the park?” He asked the other as he trailed just behind him. It was still a wonder being able to live here, in the others home, and that he was around others like himself.

He had never expected to be involved in the war plaguing his city nor anything beyond that - as he was now. Things were changing and he wasn’t sure how he felt, he figured he’d think on that all whenever he found time. But he really did just need to accept this position in life and realize he was already someone who fought for people's rights and freedoms...this was just a step up. He was doing more than some others did.

“I do not think my office has a camera, but I’m not really sure. I also do not think the morgue has a camera, but I do not think you would want to be there. I know that Lily’s room does have a camera, but I don’t think anyone would look strangely at you using you laptop in there. We can try my office first, then we will just have to move from there. I know the ER, any ICU, the Coma ward, Maternity and Delivery have the most advanced systems and the most far reaching. Unfortunately Lily is in the pediatric ICU unit, because she only just turned 21 which is the hospitals aging out age.”

He started the car and headed off his mind racing as he tried to piece everything together, “yes I think it would be a good idea for you to come with me, but only if you finish what you need to do. If not I can run out for a bit and come get you later. I also suggest you visit your mom for a bit if she's there. Let everyone see you with her, you know like an alibi of sort.”

He continued driving trying not to tap impatiently on the steering wheel. He was only succeeding in working himself up unnecessarily. The time until the rescue commenced was going to be the longest of his life. He hoped he would even be able to sleep. He however doubted it highly.

“Good to know, and I just don’t want a camera focused on my screen or anything.” he didn’t need someone to see just what he was doing via camera. He’d like to be somewhere, even if a camera was in the room, so long as his screen couldn’t be seen. An office would be perfect and so at the mention of it he nodded his head. “Your office would be perfect. if I have to move, which I doubt, we can find another place.” He doubted it though - highly.

“I’ll be fine. I’m not trying to actually do anything right now. I just want to see what security they have and see if I can get in. If I can get in I’ll set up a way for me to get in easier next time in order to make it quicker when we need it later.” He couldn’t program what he wanted to, not yet, he didn’t have the time for it nor did he know all everything he’d need to, but he would find out.

“Alright, though I’m sure some know I’m living with you by now. But I’ll check in with my mother and see how she’s doing. I mean she is in the middle of a divorce.” Something he didn’t try and find out about, he didn’t want to know about it even if he didn’t feel sorry for his father in the slightest. The man had earned it himself by being such a lush. “I’d like to go with you to the park - to meet others.” he said while reaching over to place a hand on the others shoulder. “You need to calm down though. Everything will go fine - trust me.”

“Alright, we’re almost there. I will give you the key card to my office. If you need to leave you won’t be able to get back in without it, because it locks automatically. I dont know why, probably extra security reasons.” He shook his head.

He nodded listening to Ian as he pulled up to the hospital and let out a long breath. “I’m not sure I can, but I will certainly try. I’m going to let you into my office and then head up to Lily’s room and see if she is awake. I’ll come back down in an hour or two to check on you. If you finish before that you know where I am and you have my cell number.”

He headed into the hospital and greeted his coworkers with a smile, none of them really questioned why he was there, with his sister being there. Not much attention was paid to Ian either outside of greetings. Xander headed straight to his office unlocked the door to let Ian in before handing him the key.

“I’ll be upstairs.”

“Likely, it would make sense.” He said with a shrug. Some places were big on security and he could understand a hospital being one of them. If they didn’t have such high security he would really wonder about it, files and all could easily be taken if people could easily get into offices and such. “I wasn’t aware you had an office of your own though. That’s good.” he was fairly sure his mother didn’t have one, being that she was just a nurse. He knew his mother had always wanted to be a doctor but hadn’t had the time. Maybe she could now? She could get help, from the government, to further her education and get that bit further.

Toying with his piercings he started up at the other. “Xander...could you do me a favor. You and my mother get along...my mother always wanted to go and become a doctor but never had the time. With me and having to do things around the house.” When he was too young to, even when he was older she still did half of the house work. “Do you think you could gently nudge her in that direction? To try for it? She’ll have more time once the divorce finishes.”

The walk into the hospital was normal, he was known to come by with food for his mother or just to see her. He often walked, from home, to here just to see his mother. While he didn’t know if she was in today it certainly wasn’t odd to see him come in, so he just nodded and greeted various people. “Alright, I’ll come up to you if I’m done first.” he said smiling and took the offered key before he headed off to do his own thing. “I hope Lily is doing well...and is awake.” So Xander could let her know about the plan. It would be good if she knew what they were planning.

Xander gave a light laugh, “yes, I think only because I took Hannah’s case, since then I have also been assigned a few other cases outside of the emergency room and such. Pays to have an office of sort. I’m luck to not have to share, or just have like a team room.”

Xander made to walked away, but turned as Ian asked him if he could do him a favor. He looked questioningly at him before giving a smile. Ian was a very thoughtful person and Xander was glad to know him and to be able to help him and his mother when they needed. He gave a nod, “of course. I will do my best to move her in that direction. Now get in there you.”

He reached out and ruffled Ian’s hair, “you’ve got work to do. See you soon.”

He turned and headed to the elevator going up to the fifth floor and making his way to his sisters room. When he walked in, he sighed. She wasn’t awake, that didn’t surprise him at all. She was still alive though. He pulled out his phone and sat down on the bed beside her, “I found a song for you the other day. In all this craziness I almost forgot to tell you. It’s called ‘Fight Song.’ I swear it was made for you just in this moment.

He pulled up google play and fished his pockets for pair of headphone, hooking the up and putting them in his sisters ears. He couldn’t hear the music, but he hoped she could. “Fight Lily,” he said softly, “this is your fight song, take back your life song. Fight Lily blossom.”

It would seem that as far as luck would go they both were lucky to know each other, as they were both helping each other or soon would be. He had taken on cases, or a case, and thus he got an office - how nice. That would at least allow him to do the work he needed, whatever it may be, with a fair amount of quiet and the room and resources he would need at his fingertips. It was a good thing they did by giving him an office.

“Thank you Xander.” He whispered as the other turned and headed off to see his sister. Once he was secure in the others office he went about getting himself comfortable and set about his task - hacking the hospitals system. He never thought he would be hacking a hospital, and he had hacked a lot, but he’d never thought of a hospital as he’d never have a reason to hack one.

As his laptop booted up he let his mind wander over ideas and what he might encounter as he broke into the hospitals system. He doubted he’d get caught, confident in his skills, but he hoped he could do this quickly and get everything done that he wanted to get done. Biting his bottom lip, and toying with his piercings, he set to work once his laptop was up and running. Fingers flying over his keys as he started on the endeavor.
