Nadia jingled the set of keys in her hand, walking the streets with a certain sort of confident lazy gait. Ash had come to her place, demanding all sorts of attention and Nadia was too easy to aim to please.
As such though, she didn't want Ash to be bothered by her new roommate and the sudden flux of 'oh hey a talking cat is in this apartment' as well as the added puppy that would not give the majestic cat that was Ash space.
Instead, her director of her school ballet had given her keys to the theater room, so she could practice her dancing on her own time, in preparations for the time she would audition for DCBC. The perks were anytime hours, so she usually went at night, before leaving on patrols.
"I think we should take advantage of the costuming department." Nadia grinned down at the silver cat that was with her. "I've been dying to dress you in all sorts of things since you turned into a human..." And also to help that cat forget the pain of Amphi. Ash had needed space and time to heal. "I think you'd be absolute gorgeous in one of our ballroom gowns."

These days, frivolous activities with people she loved were all that seemed to hold the creeping depression and self-doubt at bay. It was easier to be shallow and playful than to let herself think too hard about what had happened. Losing one of her own had been a terrible blow... but there was nothing to do for it now. Amphitrite would have to choose to come back, there would be no forcing her, however much that pained the silver cat.
Methone was good for distractions. The MONSTER that inhabited her apartment, however, ruined any chance of spending a night at home with her girl. Dogs... she didn't see their appeal. They were big and dirty and smelly and slobbery and LOUD... Just all over offensive. Thank God she had suggested this little outing. Nothing would have been accomplish with the dog around.
"Costumes?" Ash chirped, brightening up as she bounced after Nadia. "Oh, I love dressing up! This is a stellar idea! Its a shame I can't take my human form for it... I need to find a way to dampen that dang aura. I can't get anything done outside of HQ with it blasting out the way it does. I suppose they have accessories and things that would fit me okay, right? If we get a little creative..."
Trotting forward, the silver cat wove between the girl's ankles, staying out of the way of her stride as much as possible. This promised to be quite the bit of fun, she was sure of it!

He'd heard Ash before he saw her, following a civilian who obviously was okay or Ash wouldn't be speaking. His tail flickered softly as he walked out of an Alley way, "Did I hear the words dress up?"
He asked walking out giving a mrowl before smiling it seemed as if the words summoned the cat. He stretched a bit before moving to walk beside the pair. "I sometimes give Polaris a hard time; but secretly I don't mind being dressed up." He paused, "Neither of you can tell her that. I think she likes it when I play stubborn."
He beamed.

Nadia could practically feel Ash's disapproval of the dog radiating off the silvery cat. AS IF THE THOUGHTS were teleporting from Ash, to Nadia.
"Costumes my pretty friend." Nadia nodded her head solemnly, "You will love it, I promise. We have all sorts of gowns and dresses and bloomers and cultural stuff!" She pursued her lips.
"Oh I didn't even think about that. But yes, we can dress your cute little fluff butt up too. And I have to take pictures." She gave a lazy wink, "Colin will want to see, or we'd be-"
She stopped in her path as another cat joined her, and she stared down. Ash had been the ONLY cat she had ever met, so meeting another talking one was like. Added to that, he mentioned Polaris's name. What were the odds that this was snowball?
"Hello there handsome." She reached down and patted the male cat, looking him over. "You did indeed here dress up, and you are welcome to come if you like." She was inner squealing, TWO talking gorgeous cats. "Polaris hmm? So you must be...snowball?" She looked to Ash for confirmation.

The sudden arrival of another cat made Ash jump and she skittered around to put Nadia between herself and whomever it was. Her lowered tail rose again when she saw who it was, an exasperated breath leaving her in a sigh. So jumpy! And its just Snowball, you silly thing.
Ash rubbed her side against an ankle as though that had been her intent all along.
"Well, look who it is! Yes, Dress up. Nadia and I are going to go have some fun tonight." She leaned into her senshi, side-eyeing the male cat as he received petting. She wasn't jealous... but she wasn't entirely pleased either. This was supposed to be a girls-only night... its why they had left the men folk at home. She frowned when he received an invitation to join them, but she did little more than sniff and lift her nose.
"Snowball, yes." She said to Nadia before glancing back to the intruder. Ash's tail curled around Nadia's leg, a subtle hint of possession to it. "If you're coming along, then you have to dampen my aura for me so I can go human form and dress up with Nadia."
"And, I guess, I can do the same for you. At least once."

Snowball's ears twitched as he smiled up at Nadia. When Ash confirmed who he was he tilted his head having seen her jump and skitter around behind Nadia. He didn't say anything though, "Ohh, that's cool!"
He smiled at the inventation and looked to Ash, who . . . looked put out? He sat down watching her before licking a paw, Ash was acting oddly but he shrugged softly, "Only if you want me to come along. I don't mind dampening your Aura." He stretched a bit, "I'll be a happy catloaf and sit off to the side on a pillow, and let you girls have all the fun if you want and try to seem as not there as possible."
He paused considering his options, "I mean as long as I get a fun hat I'm good, you can use and abuse my aura dampening services as much as you agree to the trade." He smiled and shrugged softly, he wanted to dress up too but he'd be happy to just dampen Ash's aura and watch her play dress up.

Nadia's brow rose because she could tell that Ash's behavior was leaning towards the possessive, as she threaded through her legs. She knew it was a girl's night, and she would do her best to still entertain Ash.
But it didn't help that Ash was being snarky to snowball, as that was their only option to help dampen the cat girl's larger aura.
"You are welcome Snowball. I am sure we have fun king and prince and pirate hats for you to try while you are with us." She reached back down again, to pet the silver cat.
"Here we are!" She led them to the back doors of the theater, unlocking the door and looking around. It was dark, of course, and quiet. She hurried over to the security pin pad, putting in the code. As she did, the lights blared on and the stage was halo'd in brightness.
"Costuming is this way. Snowball, I can't get you a seat in the front row." She laughed and then clapped her hands. "What should we start with?"

Ash arched as Nadia stroked her, soothing ruffled feelings that were soon forgotten. Satisfied, the guardian followed along to the door and when it opened she sprang forward through it to do a quick inspection of the interior. The chairs were given a look over in their stately rows, her cheek rubbed against worn velvet.
Once she'd gotten a look around, Ash came trotting back to join the others with a well pleased look. A little bounced and the cat sprang forward, her form shifting at all once to grow taller and wider in a burst of bright sparkles. Laughing, Ash spun on a bare foot before dancing over to sweep Snowball up into her arms.
"I want to try a dress!" Ash Sang as she carried the other cat along with her, her fingers automatically finding his ears to stroke. Her cape and long hair trailed behind her, her gray tail flicking side to side. "And a hat, for Snowball, of course."
Couldn't forget him, even if this was supposed to be just her and Nadia.

Snowball followed behind the girls keeping quite as he looked around the theater, it was actually nice here. He gave a small purr before he was picked up by Ash looking panicked for a moment.
He had already started dampening her aura the moment she turned into kitty girl. "Ahah, Ahh. . . I gotta get use to being picked up when I'm not at home." He said with a sigh, as he sat limply in her arms purring when she started stroking his ears.
"Mmm, yes please~" He said with a sing song voice when Ash mentioned a hat for him. He'd just find a nice place to chill out and stay out of the way beyond that.

Nadia laughed as Ash transformed into her more girl form, and it was a little odd to see a cat...holding another cat. But snowball didn't seem to mind and that was good!
"A dress eh?" Nadia disappeared and then reappeared with a rack of costumes, all meant for female leads. Dresses were abound. She could adjust sizes thanks to some of the genius creativeness of the costuming department, so just about anything on the rack could be made to fit Ash.
"Take your pick Ash." She swept her hand out and then disappeared back to find hats. She returned with the three largest fluffiest hats for Snowball. plopping one on his head.
"and for you Snow." She grinned and then took a seat, clapping her hands. "Let the fashion show begin!"

The cat girl grinned as the dresses appeared, her face lighting up. Snowball was deposited into one of the front seats to await his hat while she rushed to the rack, small fingers dancing over the soft fabrics and lace. There were many here, almost too many to chose from, but Nadia hadn't said she could only try on one... She just had to start somewhere.
Reaching for the clasp on her cape, Ash unpinned the transparent fabric and tossed it over the top of the rack, her head set following it to hang over the bar. She almost started unzipping her body suit right there on the stage, but her hands paused on the zipper as she frowned in thought.
Humans are usually shy about showing naked bodies, right? Especially around the opposite gender. A moment's consideration and then a shrug and she simply shifted around to put the rack of clothes between herself and their male guest. Good enough. She wasn't going to go out of her way to hide herself.
The zipper slid down smoothly and Ash peeled the clinging material down, wobbling on one leg and then the other as she tugged it completely off. That too went over the rack before she pulled out the dress that had caught her eye. Green velvet, edged and embroidered in gold. It had probably served during a showing of Romeo and Juliet, but Ash just liked the color. She knew it matched her eyes and that pleased her as she dropped it to the floor and stepped in through the top, tugging it up.
Unfortunately, the plan hit a snag right around her hip line, where fabric stretched tight and refused to budge further.
"Nadia!" Ash called as she tugged at it, frowning in frustration. "Its stuck! Am I doing something wrong? How on Earth to you people put these things on?"

Snowball was sitting in the seat where he was deposited and a hat sat upon his head he giggled as it fell over his eyes a bit and paused when he heard Ash calling for help. "Have you tried pulling it over your head? It's what Aurora does sometim---" He called back pausing in his sentence, "Oh right, never mind, I'm not here!" He laid down and stretched out.
He was more than happy to relax while keeping the aura of Ash dampened so on one would bother them.

Nadia had taken a seat next to snowball for the show, after all, Ash was the model at the moment! She would take her moment to show off with the cat girl!
She actually tilted her head at Ash's reservation at showing off her human body and wondered if it was because Snow was here? Perhaps she felt shy around the male cat? She gave the same male cat a scritch on the chin before getting up to help her friend.
"Here let me see.." She stared at the way the garment clung to Ash's hips. It was meant, she thought, to accent the top part but most of the actresses didn't quite have the more womanly figure of Ash's. "Snow isn't wrong if you wanna try putting it over your head but..." She reached down and then blinked. "Oh! here..." She unzipped the dress off to the side, loosening the top part for it to be pulled over Ash's hips now. "Does that feel better?"
Also she was totally not checking Ash out but she had a really nice body and it was hard not to appreciate.

Snowballs comment drew Ash up short and she frowned down at the dress around her hips.
Well. That was the stupidest thing she could think of right them for clothing. Who made dresses that way? They should all be made to go on the same way, because who had the time to figure out how to put something on all the time?
Thank God for Nadia at least. Ash gave her a pout as she appeared to help with the dress struggles, and to her gratification, her clever girl discovered a hidden zipper that gave just enough to let the Mauvian slide the material up over her generous hips. A broad, happy smile curled across her lips as she tugged the dress's sleeves up over her arms and shoulders, settling the whole thing at last where it was supposed to be... even if it didn't fit quite how she expected it to.
"How do you do it up?" She said as she stretched to reach for the zipper Nadia had undone, trying to do it with one hand. It was significantly more difficult with just one hand.
